Be it known that I, ARTHUR L. HAMILTON, citizen of the United States, residing at Bell aire, in the county of Harris and State of Texas, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in an Ornament, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to new and useful improvements in an ornament.
One object of the invention is to provide an ornament for personal adornment which depends from the ears of the wearer and is so disposed about the neck as to give an ornamental and pleasing appearance.
lVith the above and other objects in view this invention has particular relation to certain novel features of construction and ar rangement of parts, an example of which is given in this specification and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the ornament as worn.
Figure 2 shows a perspective vi w detached from the wearer,
Figure 3 shows another form of ear clasp which may be employed.
In the drawings the numerals 1, 1 refer to open ring like clamps, preferably formed of spring wire, adapted to clamp around the cars of the wearer, as shown. Clamps 1 may be substituted for these rings, if desired and clamped to the ears of the wearer. These rings, or clamps, carry suitable settings, as
Serial No. 635,605.

Depending from the rings 1, or clamps 1 are the front and rear chains 3 and 4 which carry the front and rear pendants 5 and 6, said chains, with their pendants being disposed on the chest and back of the wearer, respectively. One of said chains, preferably the front one, is connected to, a necklace 7 around the wearers neck, as shown.
This necklace has the usual clasp 8 by means of which it may be fastened around the neck of the wearer.
What I claim is 1. An ornament including a necklace formed with a clasp, ear engaging members, depending chains connected, at their respective ends, to said ear engaging members and adapted to hang, one in front and the other in the rear of the wearer, one of said chains being also connected, on each side, to said necklace.
2. An ornament including a necklace formed with a clasp, ear engaging members, depencing chains connected, at their respective ends, to said ear engaging members and adapted to hang, one in front and the other in the rear of the wearer, one of said chains being also connected. to each side of said necklace and a pendant carried by each chain.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification.
ARTHUR L. IIAMILTON.
