Abstract
An inflatable sofa including a first inflatable sheath, a second inflatable sheath, a hose, an injection valve, a leaking valve and a pump is provided. The first inflatable sheath has a first pressure, and the second inflatable sheath disposed in the first inflatable sheath has a second pressure, in which the second pressure is less than the first pressure. The hose is connected between the pump and the second inflatable sheath, and the injection valve is disposed on the second inflatable sheath and located in the first inflatable sheath. The leaking valve is disposed on the first inflatable sheath and used to leak gas within the first inflatable sheath to outside of the inflatable sofa.
Description
- This application claims the priority benefits of U.S. provisional application Ser. No. 61/672,294, filed on Jul. 17, 2012. The entirety of the above-mentioned patent applications is hereby incorporated by reference herein and made a part of this specification.
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The invention relates to an inflatable sofa, and more particularly to an inflatable sofa for users to sit on.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- An inflatable cushion can generally be used for indoor or outdoor in places such as home, mountaineering, field trips, and can be deflated and inflated for a user to carry and use it conveniently. In the inflatable cushion, inner sides of an upper surface layer and a lower surface layer are respectively covered with an emulsion layer that is airtight and capable of binding to one another before a periphery of the inflatable cushion is sealed and welded. A plurality of pulling strips are binded between the upper and the lower surface layers and disposed substantially parallel to each other. A plurality of parallel gas channels connecting through each other are formed by binding upper ends and lower ends of the pulling strips respectively to the upper and the lower surface layers.
- More specifically, since a length of the pulling strips is shorter than a length of the inflatable cushion, once the inflatable cushion is binded with pulling strips, the inflatable cushion may have two ends in open type, so as to allow the gas channels to connect through each other. Meanwhile, an air valve is disposed on a literal side of the inflatable cushion to supply air through the air valve, this allows air to flow in and fill the entire inflatable cushion through the gas channels, so as to allow the user to lie on.
- The invention relates to an inflatable sofa for users to sit on.
- The disclosure provides an inflatable sofa including a first inflatable sheath, a second inflatable sheath, a hose, an injection valve, a leaking valve and a pump is provided. The first inflatable sheath has a first pressure, and the second inflatable sheath disposed in the first inflatable sheath has a second pressure, in which the second pressure is less than the first pressure. The hose is connected between the pump and the second inflatable sheath, and the injection valve is disposed on the second inflatable sheath and located in the first inflatable sheath. The leaking valve is disposed on the first inflatable sheath and used to leak gas within the first inflatable sheath to outside of the inflatable sofa.
- According to an embodiment of the invention, the inflatable sofa further includes a plurality of pulling strips disposed in the first inflatable sheath, and the plurality of pulling strips separate an inner space of the first inflatable sheath into a plurality of gas channels communicated with each other.
- According to an embodiment of the invention, the inflatable sofa further includes a backrest portion, a support portion and a seat portion, the backrest portion is connected to the seat portion and surrounded the support portion, in which the backrest portion and the support portion are corresponding to the first inflatable sheath, and the seat portion is corresponding to the second inflatable sheath. In addition, the first inflatable sheath further includes a storage portion located below the support portion, and the pump and the hose are accommodated in the storage portion.
- According to an embodiment of the invention, the inflatable sofa further includes an attach piece disposed on a bottom portion of the pump.
- According to an embodiment of the invention, the inflatable sofa further includes an air tap disposed on a bottom portion of the second inflatable sheath.
- Base on above, the inflatable sofa of the invention allows user to fill gas into the second inflatable sheath through the pump easily, so that gas may then enter the first inflatable sheath through the injection valve disposed on the second inflatable sheath; after the inflatable sofa is fully inflated, the hose and the pump may be accommodated in a storage portion, such that the user may be seated without any trouble.
- To make the above features and advantages of the invention more comprehensible, several embodiments accompanied with drawings are described in detail as follows.

FIG. 4 is a schematic view of a hose located in a second inflatable sheath. - Reference will now be made in detail to the present preferred embodiments of the invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, the same reference numbers are used in the drawings and the description to refer to the same or like parts.

FIG. 1 is a three-dimensional schematic view illustrating an inflatable sofa according to an embodiment of the invention,FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view illustrating the inflatable sofa ofFIG. 1 along line A-A, andFIG. 3 is a partial perspective view of the inflatable sofa ofFIG. 1 . Referring toFIGS. 1 , 2 and 3 together. According to the present embodiment, aninflatable sofa 100 includes a firstinflatable sheath 110, a secondinflatable sheath 120, ahose 130, aninjection valve 140, aleaking valve 150 and apump 160. The secondinflatable sheath 120 is disposed in the firstinflatable sheath 110, and thehose 130 is connected between thepump 160 and the secondinflatable sheath 120. Theinjection valve 140 is disposed on the secondinflatable sheath 120 and located in the firstinflatable sheath 110, and theleaking valve 150 is disposed on the firstinflatable sheath 110. - The
pump 160 according to the present embodiment is a foam pump, and thepump 160, the firstinflatable sheath 110, the secondinflatable sheath 120 and thehose 130 may be collectively formed in a same process. In addition, theinflatable sofa 100 further includes a plurality ofpulling strips 170 disposed in the firstinflatable sheath 110, and the plurality ofpulling strips 170 separate an inner space of the firstinflatable sheath 110 into a plurality of gas channels communicated with each other. In addition, theinflatable sofa 100 may be divided into abackrest portion 100 a, asupport portion 100 b and aseat portion 100 c, in which thebackrest portion 100 a is connected to theseat portion 100 c and surrounded thesupport portion 100 b. Thebackrest portion 100 a and thesupport portion 100 b are corresponding to the firstinflatable sheath 110, and theseat portion 100 c is corresponding to the secondinflatable sheath 120. The firstinflatable sheath 110 further includes astorage portion 110 a located below thesupport portion 100 b, and thepump 160 and thehose 130 are accommodated in thestorage portion 110 a. In addition, theinflatable sofa 100 further includes anattach piece 180 disposed on a bottom portion of thepump 160. - In addition, the
inflatable sofa 100 further includes anair tap 150 a disposed on a bottom portion of the secondinflatable sheath 120, theair tap 150 a is used to leak gas within the secondinflatable sheath 120. - When a user tends to use the
inflatable sofa 100 of the present embodiment, the user may first fetch out thepump 160 and attach theattach piece 180 located on the bottom portion of thepump 160 to the ground, in which theattach piece 180 may be a adhesive disk, a rough surface or other apparatuses or devices capable of fixing thepump 160 together with the base plane where thepump 160 is placed on. - Next, the user may fill gas into the second
inflatable sheath 120 through thehose 130 by using thepump 160; in particular, according to the present embodiment, a portion where thehose 130 is located on the secondinflatable sheath 120 is formed by using a double-sided welding method, as shown inFIG. 4 . In the time when gas is yet entered by thepump 160, a pressure in the secondinflatable sheath 120 may extruded sidewalls of thehose 130 to achieve an air-sealing effect, so as to prevent gas from leaking outside of thehose 130 from an opposite direction. - Moreover, gas that entered into the second
inflatable sheath 120 may allow the secondinflatable sheath 120 to have a second pressure P2. Once the second pressure P2 is greater than a predetermined value, gas may then enter the firstinflatable sheath 110 through theinjection valve 140, so as to allow the firstinflatable sheath 110 to have a first pressure P1. Despite that the firstinflatable sheath 110 has the plurality of gas channels separated by thepulling strips 170, the gas channels are communicated with each other, so that gas within the firstinflatable sheath 110 may be evenly distributed in the firstinflatable sheath 110. It should be noted that, the user may accommodate thepump 160 and thehose 130 into thestorage portion 110 a after an inflation process is completed. After theinflatable sofa 100 is fully inflated, the first pressure P1 in the firstinflatable sheath 110 is approximately 0.55 PSI, which is less than the second pressure P2 in the secondinflatable sheath 120 being approximately 0.75 PSI. In this condition, the firstinflatable sheath 110 is relatively softer than the secondinflatable sheath 120. Therefore, when the user sits on theinflatable sofa 100, since the support portion on which hip of the user sits on and thebackrest portion 100 a where back of the user rest against are relatively softer, a favorable coverage to hip and back of the user may be provided. Theseat portion 100 c located on a front end of theinflatable sofa 100 and corresponding to the secondinflatable sheath 120 may provide support to thighs of the user, so that the user may be comfortable seated on theinflatable sofa 100 of the present embodiment. - When packing up the
inflatable sofa 100, the user may leak gas within the firstinflatable sheath 110 to outside of theinflatable sofa 100 by opening up the leakingvalve 150, and gas within the secondinflatable sheath 120 is leaked outside through theair tap 150 a located on the bottom portion of the secondinflatable sheath 120. - In view of above, the invention provides an inflatable sofa having a shape and a structure different from the conventional ones, in which the first inflatable sheath and the second inflatable sheath have different pressures. Therefore, the inflatable sofa may have a harder and a softer portions, so as to allow the user to rest against and sit on the softer portions of the inflatable sofa (refer to the backrest portion and the support portion), whereas thighs of the user may be supported by the seat portion (the second inflatable sheath) which is relatively harder. As a result, the user may be comfortably seated on the inflatable sofa.
- Moreover, the pump may be accommodated in a storage portion below the support portion, so as to keep the environment around the inflatable sofa clean and beautiful while preventing people from stepping on the pump or stumbled by the hose.
- Lastly, it should be noted that, the above embodiments merely serve as examples in the present embodiment, the invention is not limited thereto. Despite that the invention has been described with reference to above embodiments, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made to the structure of the technical content disclosed in above embodiments of the invention without departing from the scope or spirit of the invention. In view of the foregoing, it is intended that the invention cover modifications and variations of this invention provided they fall within the scope of the following claims and their equivalents.
Claims (6)
1. An inflatable sofa, comprising:
a first inflatable sheath having a first pressure;
a second inflatable sheath having a second pressure, disposed in the first inflatable sheath, wherein the first pressure is less than the second pressure;
a hose communicated with the second inflatable sheath;
an injection valve disposed on the second inflatable sheath and located in the first inflatable sheath;
a leaking valve disposed on the first inflatable sheath, used to leak gas within the first inflatable sheath to outside of the inflatable sofa; and
a pump, the hose is connected between the pump and the second inflatable sheath.
2. The inflatable sofa of claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of pulling strips disposed on the first inflatable sheath, used to separate an inner space of the first inflatable sheath into a plurality of gas channels connecting through each other.
3. The inflatable sofa of claim 1 , further comprising a backrest portion, a support portion and a seat portion, the backrest portion is connected to the seat portion and surrounded the support portion, wherein the backrest portion and the support portion are corresponding to the first inflatable sheath, and the seat portion is corresponding to the second inflatable sheath.
4. The inflatable sofa of claim 3 , wherein the first inflatable sheath further comprises a storage portion located below the support portion, and the pump and the hose are accommodated in the storage portion.
5. The inflatable sofa of claim 1 , further comprising an attach piece located on a bottom portion of the pump.
6. The inflatable sofa of claim 1 , further comprising an air tap, disposed on a bottom portion of the second inflatable sheath.
