Thesuction tube 135 is disposed in thecontainer 14 which is provided for storage of paint. Pressing of theoperation rod 131 causes reciprocation of thepiston 132, and thus the paint is sucked by thesuction tube 135 to thesuction head 13 and discharged from anozzle 136. Thecheck valve 134 prevents the backflow of the paint sucked by thepiston 132. Thenozzle 136 is connected to one end of thepipe 11, and the other end of thepipe 11 is connected to thebrushes 12 which can be in any arbitrary forms, such as theroller brush 121,flat brush 122,narrow brush 123 andwide brush 124, as shown inFIG. 1 . - Referring then to

FIG. 10 is a partial exploded view of the painting device in accordance with the present invention showing that the single handle can be applied to different types of brush heads; and -
FIG. 11 shows that the connecting cylinders and the connecting cavities ofFIG. 10 change in positions. - The present invention will be clearer from the following description when viewed together with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
- Referring to
FIGS. 4-9 , a painting device with a manual suction cylinder in accordance with the present invention is shown and comprises: amanual suction cylinder 20, a guidingpipe 30, ahandle 40, and abrush head 50. - The
manual suction cylinder 20 comprises asuction head 21 and acontainer 22. Like the conventional structure, thesuction head 21 of the present invention is also provided with a check valve and a suction tube (not shown). Thecontainer 22 is provided for storage of paint, and the pressing of thesuction head 21 causes the paint to be sucked from thecontainer 22 and discharged from anozzle 211 which is located at one end of thesuction head 21. - The guiding
pipe 30 includes afirst end 31 and asecond end 32, and thefirst end 31 connected to thenozzle 211 of thesuction head 21. - The
handle 40 includes afeeding end 51 and adischarge end 42 which are connected by apassage 43. - The
brush head 50 includes a connectingend 51 which is connected to the interior of thebrush head 50 by apassage 52, and thebrush head 50 is connected to thedischarge end 42 of thehandle 40 via the connectingend 51, so that the paint is sucked from themanual suction cylinder 20 to thebrush head 50 via the guidingpipe 30 and thehandle 40, as shown inFIG. 9 . - The characteristics of the present invention are described as follows:
- Firstly, the connecting
end 51 of thebrush head 50 and thefeeding end 41 of thehandle 40 are each specially provided with a connectingcylinder 60 the outer surface which are formed with twoopposite protrusions 61, and the connectingcylinder 60 is hollow inside. - Secondly, the
second end 32 of the guidingpipe 30 and thedischarge end 42 of thehandle 40 are each formed with a connectingcavity 70, inside the connectingcavity 70 are formed two oppositeengaging grooves 71, and at one side of theengaging grooves 71 is formed apositioning groove 72. If the connectingcylinder 60 is inserted in the connectingcavity 70, theprotrusions 61 are firstly engaged in the engaging grooves 71 (as shown inFIG. 6 ), and then rotate together with the connectingcylinder 60 within the connectingcavity 70 by a certain distance and finally slide into thepositioning groove 72 and locked therein (as shown inFIG. 7 ). At this moment, rotating the connectingcylinder 60 and the connectingcavity 70 in opposite directions can make theprotrusions 61 slide out of the positioning grooves 72 (FIG. 6 shows that theprotrusions 61 slides back into the positioning grooves 72), so that the connectingcylinder 60 is allowed to be disengaged from the connectingcavity 70, in other words, the connectingcylinder 60 can be selectively engaged into and disengaged from the connectingcavity 70. - For a better understanding of the operation of the present invention, reference should be made to the following description.
- Referring to
FIGS. 4 and 8 , the assembly of the present invention is carried out by connecting thefirst end 31 of the guidingpipe 30 to thenozzle 211 of thesuction head 21, and then connecting the connectingcylinder 60 formed at thefeeding end 41 of thehandle 40 to the connectingcavity 70 formed at thesecond end 32 of the guidingpipe 30, and finally connecting the connectingcylinder 60 formed at the connectingend 51 of thebrush head 50 to the connectingcavity 70 at thedischarge end 42 of thehandle 40. By doing so, the assembly of the present invention is finished, and the painting device is ready for painting. - Referring then to
FIG. 9 , after the assembly is finished, the paint can be discharged from thenozzle 211, then flows to thehandle 40 via the guidingpipe 30, and finally flows to thepassage 52 of thebrush head 50 via thepassage 43 of thehandle 40, and thus painting can be carried out. - It is to be noted that it needs to use different brushes during painting, the
handle 40 of the present invention is specially designed to have a connectingcavity 70, while theroller brush 53,flat brush 54,narrow brush 55 andwide brush 56 are all provided with a connectingcylinder 60, so that thehandle 40 of the present invention can be easily connected to different types of brushes. - On top of that, the design of the structures of the connecting
cavity 70 and the connectingcylinder 60 can change according to actual requirements. As shown inFIG. 11 , for example, asecond end 32A of the guidingpipe 30A and adischarge end 42A of ahandle 40A are each provided with a connectingcylinder 60, while afeeding end 41A of thehandle 40A and a connectingend 51A of thebrush heads 50A are each provided with a connectingcavity 70. - With the abovementioned designs, a single handle of the present invention can be used to connect different types of brush heads without having the conventional problem that the conventional brush heads must have its own handle.
- While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it is clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
