Abstract

A men's suit hanger with trouser holding clips is provided. The men's suit hanger according to current invention has two specially designed trousers holding clips. The trousers holding clip has elongated side wings to make the overall shape of one clip as letter ‘L’. The men's suit hanger of the current application enables a user to hang long men's trousers and jacket at the same time in a short closet without worry about the trousers slip out of the hanger.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

Current application relates to a suit hanger, especially related to a men's suit hanger equipped with two shaped elongated clip wing for holding long men's trouser in a short closet

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

There are so many kinds of garment hangers circulated in the commercial market. Some of them are simple cheap hanger just like metal hanger comes with dry cleaning. Some of them have more complex structure. However, they must be cheap for mass use, such as hangers for big supermarket or clothing shops. Other garment hangers may be more expensive, for example hotel garment hanger. But, they concern about the apparent shape rather than the function. Typical garment hangers in hotels are wood hanger with two clips for holding skirt or trousers. Such hangers can hold men's long trousers too. However, the spring for those clips should be very stiff to hold a long men's trouser. And the belts should be removed from the trouser to reduce the weight. For most of house or apartment, the closets for garments are not tall enough to keep men's entire trouser in stretched state. Therefore, most of men's trouser closet, tall closet, is always crowded with trousers. It is purpose of the current application to provide a garment hanger that can hold men's trouser safely in a short closet space.

U.S. Patent Application 20100213222 to Boyko; Matt illustrates a hanger including an elongate clip with upper and lower legs configured to hold a textile article there between. U.S. Patent Application 20100193551, 20100025440, 20100019005, 20080011792, 20030015558, 2003 0015485, 20020113100, 20010015361, U.S. Pat. Nos. 6,715,650, 6,675,997, 6,588,634, 6,467,659, 6,357,638, 6,196,430, RE36873, U.S. Pat. Nos. 5,509,587 and 5,411,189 to Gouldson; Stanley F. et al. illustrates an apparel hanger, through openings are formed in a web of the hanger body. The openings are formed symmetrically or asymmetrically relative to a center point of the body in the web. U.S. Patent Application 20090057351 to Nguyen; Thinh Duc illustrates a hanger with some interlocking cam clips that grip some garments together with the hanger. The clip has a pair of arms hinged together at about their middles by a resilient bar and an interlocking cam joined to one arm's end by cylindrical axles. U.S. Patent Application 20080201909 to Misumi; Hideo illustrates a synthetic resin clip composed of a pair of synthetic resin members, and a hanger including the synthetic resin clips. U.S. Patent Application 20080093398 to CORDOVA; Renato N; et al. illustrates a garment hangers and spring clip, particularly though not exclusively for providing a biasing force in the improved clothes clip of this invention for the suspending of clothes during shipment or for display or storage. U.S. Patent Application 20070228088 and U.S. Pat. No. 7,537,142 to Yau, et al illustrates a pinch clip garment hanger. The pinch clip garment hanger includes a first jaw member, and a second jaw member pivotally secured to the first jaw member. U.S. Patent Application 20050178806 and U.S. Pat. No. 7,258,257 to Sebel Harry illustrates a garment hanger adapted for hooking over a clothes rail includes a hanger frame which is generally perpendicular to a notional vertical plane containing the clothes rail; a hanger support hook adjacent an apex of the frame; and a handle depending downwards from an end of the frame, said end being offset downwardly from the apex of the frame and laterally of the notional vertical plane. U.S. Patent Application 20020023936 to BATTS, JOHN H. illustrates a ship-on garment hanger having shielding means at each end of the hanger body to prevent dislodgement of a garment from the hanger by downwardly and inwardly directed dislodging forces. U.S. Pat. No. 7,156,271 to Louw illustrates an end-clip for a garment hanger includes a bar having an end, and a connecting part with a first end and a second end. U.S. Pat. Nos. 7,124,919 and 6,474,517 to Sutton illustrates a garment hanger includes a crossbar member, a hook member coupled to the crossbar member, and three clamp members coupled to the crossbar member. U.S. Pat. No. 6,612,000 to Housley illustrates a clothes clip has a biasing spring that imparts a symmetrical force to each of the gripping members of the clothes clip. U.S. Pat. No. 6,516,980 to Goldman illustrates a garment hanger including an elongated body, an integrally formed, centrally located hook member, and clip assemblies located at each opposing end of the body. U.S. Pat. No. 6,050,462 to Petrou, et al. illustrates a pinch clip for a garment hanger, and a garment hanger having such pinch clip, is disclosed. The clip includes an opposable retaining member spring biased into a closed position against a flange formed on one end of the main support of the hanger. U.S. Pat. Nos. 5,915,605, 5,398,854 and 4,884,727 to Blanchard illustrates a clamp-style garment hanger is provided. The hanger provides two brackets disposed on a crossbar on opposing sides of a hook. The lateral positions of the brackets are adjustable. U.S. Pat. No. 5,573,151 to Fildan illustrates a hanger is provided in which the molded hooks for engagement with the waistband and the straps of undergarments or bathing suits are formed with a continuous rib from one free end to another. U.S. Pat. No. 4,984,721 to Eiley, et al. illustrates a hanger having a hook and a linear beam with a flat web and a pair of spring clips on either end of the beam adapted for limited travel thereon. U.S. Pat. No. 4,852,777 to Balkin illustrates a locking garment hanger is disclosed in which a single length of wire similar resilient material is formed into a generally triangular frame member having a hook portion for suspending the hanger from a suitable support. U.S. Pat. No. 4,335,838 to Bisk, et al. illustrates a molded plastic hanger and a clip including a body portion having a diverging pair of arms including slots therein and a crossbar for mounting garment holding clips. U.S. Pat. No. 4,248,363 to Zuckerman, et al. illustrates a garment hanger for supporting a plurality of clothing articles alongside each other such that no one of the garments obscures. U.S. Pat. No. 3,973,705 to Erthein illustrates a clamping hanger having an arm and at least one pair of hinged clamping members having at least one member integrally formed with said arm for movement of the members between open and closed positions for holding and releasing a garment or the like therebetween.
However, none of the prior art provides a hanger that firmly hold a trouser within a limited space.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

There are so many kinds of garment hangers circulated in the commercial market. Some of them are simple cheap hanger just like metal hanger comes with dry cleaning. Some of them have more complex structure. However, they must be cheap for mass use, such as hangers for big supermarket or clothing shops. Other garment hangers may be more expensive, for example hotel garment hanger. But, they concern about the apparent shape rather than the function. Typical garment hangers in hotels are wood hanger with two clips for holding skirt or trousers. Such hangers can hold men's long trousers too. However, the spring for those clips should be very stiff to hold a long men's trouser. And the belts should be removed from the trouser to reduce the weight. For most of house or apartment, the closets for garments are not tall enough to keep men's entire trouser in stretched state. Therefore, most of men's trouser closet, tall closet, is always crowded with trousers. It is purpose of the current application to provide a garment hanger that can hold men's trouser safely in a short closet space. A men's suit hanger with trouser holding clips is provided. The men's suit hanger according to current invention has two specially designed trousers holding clips. The trousers holding clip has elongated side wings. So the overall shape of one clip is letter ‘L’. The trousers holding clip is comprised of two jaw members, each of which is comprised of one grip and one long side wing, and one spring. The spring has one coiled center part and two tips that are folded perpendicular to the coiled center part. One or two segmental circular toes are developed on the coiled center part pointing the opposite direction of the two tips. A crossing bar of the men's suit hanger according to current application receives and holds these toes. And the two folded tips are engaged to matching grooves that are developed on the inner side of the grips.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a garment hanger (1) of a prior art. It is most cheap and popular hanger easily available from supermarket. Cheaper one comes without clips (2). If the customers want to hang skirt, they can find hanger (1) with clips (2). The hanger (1) with those clips (2) has no problem to hold a skirt because most of women's skirt is short and light. But, in order to hang men's long trousers (3), it is not a simple matter. When people hang men's long trousers (3), they usually use the clips (2) to hold the lower end (3-1) of the trousers (3). And they remove belts to reduce the weight of the trousers (3). However, all these are possible when the closet has enough height for the long trousers (3). If the closet is not high enough, people must fold the trousers (3) and engage the trousers (3) to the clips. Then the thickness of the folded trousers (3) opens the clips (2) wider and the trousers (3) are easily slipped out of the clips (2). To resolve such inconvenience, especially for men, a new men's suit hanger is provided.
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a men's suit hanger (10) with trouser holding clips (11) according to current application. The men's suit hanger (10) has two specially designed trousers holding clips (11). FIG. 3 is an enlarged view of the trouser holding clips (11) for the men's suit hanger (10) according to current application. The trousers holding clip (11) has elongated side wings (12). So the overall shape of one clip is alphabet ‘L’.Those two alphabet ‘L’ shaped clips (11) are engaged to a crossing bar (19) and face each other to hold a trouser (21), that is folded and hang on the crossing bar(19). The trousers holding clip (11) is comprised of two jaw members (13), each of which is comprised of one grip (14) and one long side wing (12), and one spring (15). The spring (15) has one coiled center part (16) and two tips (17) that are folded perpendicular to the coiled center part (16). One or two segmental circular toes (18) are developed on the coiled center part (16) pointing the opposite direction of the two tips (17). A crossing bar (19) of the men's suit hanger (10) according to current application receives and holds these toes (18). And the two folded tips (17) are engaged to matching grooves (20) that are developed on the inner side of the grips (14).
When a user hang a trousers (21) on the men's suit hanger (10) according to current application, the user can fold the trousers (21) in half and put the trousers over the crossing bar (19) and hold the trousers (21) with the elongated side wings (12) of the clip (11). Then the user does not need to worry about the trousers (21) slipping out of the hanger (10) even if the trousers (21) is heavy. Then the user can hang a men's dress suit (22) over the trousers (21) hanging hanger as shown in the FIG. 2.
So, the men's suit hanger with trouser holding clips according to current application enables a user, who doe not have a closet whose height is tall enough for long men's trousers, to organize a whole pair of trousers and dress suit of men with one hanger without worrying about the slipping out of the trousers from the hanger.

Claims

1. A men's suit hanger with two trouser holding clips each of which is comprised of;

two jaw members, each of which is comprised of one grip,

and

one long side wing,

and

one spring which has one coiled center part

and

two tips that are folded perpendicular to the coiled center part and are engaged to matching groove that are developed on the inner side of the grips

and

two segmental circular toes, which are developed on the coiled center part pointing the opposite direction of the two tips, to be engaged to a crossing bar of the men's suit hanger.

2. A men's suit hanger with two trouser holding clips of the claim 1, wherein each of the clips has overall shape of alphabet ‘L’.

3. A men's suit hanger with two trouser holding clips of the claim 1, wherein The two clips face each other while engaged on a crossing bar.
