Definitions

  • the invention relates to a golf bag with a base body comprising at least one insertion compartment for golf clubs, such that the base body comprises at least one magnetic holding device.
  • the invention relates to a trolley for receiving and transporting the golf bag.
  • Golf bags for transporting golf clubs are known in the art in various embodiments. These golf bags serve primarily to keep golf clubs and also golf balls available to the player during a game of golf. Transport for the rather heavy golf bags is provided by so-called trolleys on which the golf bags can be attached by means of belts or bungee cords and similar straps.
  • a generic golf bag is known, for example, from patent US 2006/0011682 A1. This manner of attaching the golf bags on trolleys has proven itself in the art; however, it repeatedly happens that the golf bag filled with golf clubs turns around its longitudinal axis on the trolley as the trolley moves over the irregular golf course, so that the player must pick up the golf bag and place it back on the trolley correctly if the golf bag is to be held securely on the trolley while good access is maintained to the golf clubs stored in the golf bag.
  • At least one magnetic holding device is configured on the upper edge as well as on the foot of the base body, and by said device the base body can be attached on a trolley, such that corresponding magnetic reaction surfaces, coming into active connection with the magnetic holding devices of the base body, are positioned on the trolley.
  • This manner of attaching the golf bag on the trolley is not only especially simple, requiring no straps or bungee cords, but also retains the golf bag on the trolley in a manner that is secure against slipping and turning.
  • This mounting of the golf bag on the trolley by at least two mounting points that are set at a distance from one another also ensures a secure, durably twist-proof retention of the golf bag on the trolley even with rather strong agitation, and thus the maintenance of a secure access to the golf clubs.
  • the at least one magnetic holding device should consist in each case of at least one magnet that comes into active connection with at least one magnetic reaction surface on another component.
  • said at least one magnetic reaction surface should be configured as a magnetic surface such as for example a metal plate or as a counter-magnet to the magnet of the golf bag.
  • the at least one magnetic holding device should consist of at least one magnetic surface that comes into active connection with at least one magnet on another component.
  • At least one additional pocket should be capable of being attached on the base body by at least one additional magnetic holding device, such that at least one corresponding magnetic holding device in active connection with the magnetic holding device of the base body should be positioned on each additional pocket. Because of the simple magnetic application of additional pockets on the base body of the golf bag, the capacity and flexibility of the golf bag for accessories can be markedly increased.
  • the base body of the golf bag comprises a magnetic surface for inserting several additional pockets each provided with at least one magnet, so that one or more additional pockets can be provided on the golf bag as needed.
  • the at least one magnet should be positioned in an insertion device positioned on the base body of the golf bag.
  • Said insertion device can advantageously be removably attached on the base body of the golf bag, for example by means of a Velcro fastening or the like, so that even existing golf bags can be outfitted subsequently with the inventive magnetic holding device.
  • the insertion device should be advantageously provided with an anti-slip coating.
  • the at least one magnetic surface should be configured as a metal plate positioned on the base body of the golf bag and/or on the frame of the trolley.
  • the invention in addition relates to a trolley for receiving and transporting a golf bag, such that the trolley comprises a frame equipped with a chassis and with at least one handle.
  • At least one magnetic holding device should be positioned on the frame of the trolley and should be actively connected with at least one magnetic holding device positioned on the golf bag that is to be received and transported.
  • At least one magnetic holding device on the frame of the trolley, it is possible for the first time, by means of a corresponding magnetic holding device, to attach the golf bag on the base body of the golf bag with simple operation so that it is secure against turning. Mounting the golf bag in this manner on at least two mounting points at a distance from one another also ensures, even at strong agitations, a safe and durable turn-proof securing of the golf bag on the trolley, so that golf players always have a good access to their golf clubs.
  • the two magnetic reaction surfaces foreseen on the frame of the trolley are, according to the invention, configured as, for example, metallic surfaces or as counter-magnets to the magnets of the golf bag.
  • FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a first embodiment of an inventive golf bag along with inventive trolley.
  • FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of a second embodiment of an inventive golf bag along with additional pockets before the attachment of said additional pockets.
  • FIG. 3 shows a view according to FIG. 1 , but depicting the golf bag with the additional pockets attached to it.
  • FIG. 1 shows, first, a golf bag 1 , which consists essentially of a base body 3 that comprises an insertion compartment 2 for golf clubs, and, second, a trolley 4 for receiving and transporting the golf bag 1 , such that the trolley 4 consists essentially of a frame 7 equipped with a chassis 5 and two handles 6 .
  • the trolley 4 is a non-motorized trolley 4 , as shown, or a motor-operated trolley 4 .
  • magnetic holding devices 10 are positioned, which in the illustrated embodiment are configured as magnets 11 .
  • These magnetic holding devices 10 serve for active connection with a corresponding a magnetic holding device 10 on another component.
  • this other component is a trolley 4 , which likewise comprises two magnetic holding devices 10 , which are configured as magnetic surfaces 12 , for example metal plates, corresponding to the magnets 11 of the golf bag 1 . It is also possible of course to configure the magnetic holding devices 10 that correspond to the magnets 11 of the golf bag 1 as counter-magnets to the magnets 11 of the golf bag 1 .
  • the golf bag 1 is placed on the trolley 4 in such a way that the magnets 11 positioned on the base body 3 of the golf bag 1 come into binding contact on the magnetic surfaces 12 of the trolley 4 .
  • the illustrated mounting of the golf bag 1 on the trolley 4 by means of at least two mounting points placed at a distance from one another ensures that the golf bag 1 is held securely on the trolley 4 , in durably turn-proof manner and with consistently good access to the golf clubs, even during severe agitations.
  • this magnetic mounting constitutes a means of attaching the golf bag 1 on the trolley 4 that is easy to operate.
  • the magnetic holding devices 10 in such a way that the magnets 11 are positioned on the frame 7 of the trolley 4 and the magnetic surfaces 12 or counter-magnets are positioned on the base body 3 of the golf bag 1 . It is likewise possible to vary the number of magnetic holding devices 10 and/or magnets 11 being used, depending on need.
  • the magnets 11 are positioned in the illustrated embodiment in insertion devices 13 , which are drawn with broken lines and can be attached on the base body 3 of the golf bag 1 , for example by means of a cement sealing or the like.
  • Another possibility is to position the magnetic surfaces 12 that correspond with the magnets 11 on the base body 3 of the golf bag 1 by means of the insertion devices 13 .
  • the components that are to be connected with one another can be held with increased security if the insertion devices 13 are equipped with an anti-slip coating.
  • FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment for using the magnetic holding devices that are positioned on the base body 3 of the golf bag 1 .
