  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • With reference to FIG. 1 to FIG. 2 for a grinding workpiece in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention, the grinding workpiece is composed of a main body 11, a grinding material 21 and a pair of connection sheets 31.
  • The main body 11 is slightly a bell shape and comprises a joint surface 12 located on a side end surface of the main body 11. A circular flange 13 with a proper height is protruded from a periphery of the joint surface 12. A containing chamber 14 with a proper depth is inwardly extended from a center of the joint surface 12, and an opening 14 communicating with the containing chamber 14 is formed at a central position of the joint surface 12. In addition, several oblique gutters 16, which are inwardly inclined toward the containing chamber 14, are disposed on an inner wall of the containing chamber 14. A rib portion 17 is defined between adjacent oblique gutters 16. A transmission shaft 18 is fixedly disposed to the main body 11 that is opposite to the joint surface 12, and the transmission shaft 18 axially corresponds to the joint surface 12.
  • The grinding material 21 comprises a circular substrate 22 and a circular grinding plate 23 with a proper thickness that is fixedly disposed to a plate surface of the circular substrate 22 by utilizing a side surface. Central ring holes of the circular substrate 22 and the circular grinding plate 23 respectively communicate with the opening 15 of the main body 11, and the grinding material 21 covers each oblique gutter 16 at the opening of the joint surface 12. A grinding plane 231 is located on a circular grinding plate 23 that is opposite to a corresponding plate surface of the circular substrate 22. A grinding circular surface 232 is located on an internal periphery of the circular grinding plate 23. Four gaps 233 are disposed to an external periphery of the circular grinding plate 23 at equal distances.
  • The pair of connection sheets 31 in the embodiment comprises a male pad 32 and a female pad 33 adhered to each other. The male pad 32 and the female pad 33 are respectively disposed on the joint surface 12 and the circular substrate 22 that is opposite to a side surface of the circular grinding plate 23.
  • With the assembly of the foregoing components, the grinding material 21 is closely adhered to the main body 11 through the pair of connection sheets 31. Simultaneously, the main body 11 is properly embedded and contained in a circular containing space formed by the circular flange 13 so that the grinding material 21 can be stably combined with the main body 11, and the pair of connection sheets 31 may not come off due to the imposition of excess lateral force at the horizontal direction, resulting in influencing the grinding work.
  • While using the invention, as shown in FIG. 3, power sources, such as a normal pneumatic power or an electric power, can be utilized to drive the main body 11 to rotate through the transmission shaft 18 so that the grinding material 21 could grind a wheel hub of a vehicle to have an advantage of convenient utilization. Moreover, a protrusion body 41 of the wheel hub can be properly contained in the containing chamber 14 through the invention so that the grinding plane 231 of the grinding material 21 can properly paste on the disc of the wheel hub to perform the grinding work. In the meantime, the grinding circular surface 232 located on the inner periphery of the circular grinding plate 23 surrounds the periphery of the protrusion body 41 of the wheel hub, and the grinding circular surface 232 could grind the periphery of the protrusion body 41 of the wheel hub to rapidly complete the required grinding work.
  • Further, when the grinding work is performed by the invention, the produced scrap materials can be quickly discharged by the gaps 233 of the circular grinding plate 23 and enter into the containing chamber 14 of the main body via the central ring hole of the circular grinding plate 23. The scrap materials can be concentrated by the generated centrifugal force to the oblique gutter 15 under the rotation of the main body 11. The scrap materials then are removed after completing the grinding work. Therefore, the grinding workpiece provided by the invention can complete the grinding work with high quality.
