Abstract

The vacuum cleaner comprises a main body, a handle, a disinfecting light and a vibrating device. The handle is fitted to the main body. The handle consists of several shorter tubular portions. Therefore, the handle may be assembled and disassembled easily. The disinfecting light is provided in the back of a dust inlet so that dust and waste may be disinfected when they are removed by the vacuum cleaner. The vibrating device is disposed near the dust inlet so that the dusts and waste may be removed immediately after they detach from the floor. As a coil is activated, the flexible strip can start to vibrate and the range of the vibrations is limited because of the presence of a cushion.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The invention generally relates to an improved vacuum cleaner. More particularly, the invention relates to an improved vacuum cleaner that may be used and stored away easily, have a good cleaning effect and can kill the bacteria contained in the dusts and waste.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • During a typical cleaning procedure, a vacuum cleaner is commonly used. A vacuum cleaner works through a vacuum created by a pump so as to provide a method to remove dust and waste on the floor or other places. A vacuum cleaner is typically used after larger pieces of waste are removed.
  • Many types of vacuum cleaners available on the market may have a higher power rating; meaning that they consume more energy, generate more noise and have a larger size. Therefore, they may not be the best choice and solution.
  • Wet dust and waste may affix to the floor as well as other locations and provide a difficult task to be cleaned by a vacuum cleaner of the prior art. In addition, fine dust often can absorb the moisture contained in the air and hence cannot be cleaned by a vacuum cleaner of the prior art.
  • Moreover, there are many bacteria that attach to such fine dust and continue to remain after the fine dust is removed by a vacuum cleaner. Also, as the dust pouch of a vacuum cleaner is emptied, some dust may spill and may be harmful to the health of the individuals in the ambient surrounding.
  • Therefore, improvements are needed for the vacuum cleaners in the prior art. To eliminate the disadvantages in the prior art, the inventor has put a lot of effort into the subject and has successfully come up with the improved vacuum cleaner of the present invention.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The main object of the present invention is to provide an improved vacuum cleaner that can generate vibrations so that dust and waste attached to the floor may be detached and then be immediately sucked into the vacuum cleaner.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide an improved vacuum cleaner that can kill bacteria when dust and waste are removed by the vacuum cleaner to reduce the quantity of the bacteria.
  • A third object of the present invention is to provide an improved vacuum cleaner that can be easily assembled, disassembled, and stored.
  • To reach these objectives, the improved vacuum cleaner of the present invention is disclosed. The improved vacuum cleaner comprises of a main body 1, a handle 2, a disinfecting light 3 and a vibrating device 4. The handle 2 is fitted to the main body 1 and the disinfecting light 3 and vibrating device 4 are fitted to the main body 1. The handle 2 is consisted of several shorter tubular portions 21 and connective units 22 are provided to connect and disconnect these shorter tubular portions 21. Therefore, the handle 2 may be assembled and disassembled easily. In addition, after use of the vacuum cleaner, the handle 2 can be disassembled; therefore, it takes a small space to store the vacuum cleaner. The disinfecting light 3 is provided in the back of a dust inlet 11 so that dust and waste may be disinfected when they are taken in through the dust inlet. The vibrating device 4 is disposed near the dust inlet 11 so that the dust and waste may be sucked in immediately after they detach from the floor. The vibrating device 4 includes a vibrating strip 41 and a flexible strip 42, which is disposed in the back of the vibrating strip 41. A cushion 44 is provided at one end of the flexible strip 42 and is fixedly seated on a seat portion 45, which is disposed on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner. A magnet 46 is disposed at the other end of flexible strip 42 and a coil 47 is provided in the main body 1. As the coil 47 is activated, the flexible strip 42 can start to vibrate and the range of the vibrations is limited because of the presence of the cushion 44, which is fixedly seated on the seat portion 45. Also, the vibrating strip 41 will move along with the flexible strip 42.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The drawings disclose an illustrative embodiment of the present invention which serves to exemplify the various advantages and objects hereof, and are as follows:
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the improved vacuum cleaner of the present invention in an assembled condition.
  • FIG. 2 is a view showing the handle of the improved vacuum cleaner of the present invention.
  • FIG. 3 is another view showing the handle of the improved vacuum cleaner of the present invention.
  • FIG. 4 is another view showing the improved vacuum cleaner of the present invention in an assembled condition.
  • FIG. 5 is a view showing the positions of the disinfecting light 3 and vibrating device 4.
  • FIG. 6 is a view showing how the vibrating device 4 works.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Please see FIGS. 1 to 6, which illustrate the improved vacuum cleaner of the present invention. The vacuum cleaner of the present invention includes a main body 1, which is used to suck in dust and waste. The improved or innovative components of the vacuum cleaner of the present invention include a handle 2, a disinfecting light 3 and a vibrating device 4.
  • Please see FIGS. 1 to 3. The handle 2 is fitted to the main body 1 to allow a user to use the vacuum cleaner. The handle 2 is consisted of several shorter tubular portions 21 and several connective units 22 are provided to connect these shorter tubular portions 21. Therefore, the handle 2 may be assembled and disassembled easily. Also, after using the vacuum cleaner, the handle 2 can be disassembled; therefore, it only occupies a small space to store the vacuum cleaner.
  • Please refer to FIGS. 4 to 6. The disinfecting light 3 is disposed on the bottom of the main body 1. A dust inlet 11 is provided on the bottom of the main body 1 and the disinfecting light 3 is provided in the back of the dust inlet 11. Therefore, dust and waste may be disinfected when they are removed by the vacuum cleaner. There are many forms of the disinfecting light 3; in the present invention, the disinfecting light 3 may be an ultraviolet light, which can radiate ultraviolet light to kill bacteria.
  • Please also refer to FIGS. 4 to 6. The vibrating device 4 is disposed on the bottom of the main body 1. The vibrating device 4 can generate vibrations so that dust and waste attached to the floor may detach from the floor and then be removed by the dust inlet 11 of the vacuum cleaner. The vibrating device 4 is disposed near the dust inlet 11 so that the dust and waste may be sucked in immediately after detaching from the floor.
  • The vibrating device 4 includes a vibrating strip 41 and a flexible strip 42, which is disposed in the back of the vibrating strip 41. A screw 43 is used to fixedly connect the vibrating strip 41 with the flexible strip 42 so that they can move together. The cushion 44 is fixedly seated on a seat portion 45, which is disposed on the bottom of the vacuum clean.
  • Many changes and modifications in the above described embodiment of the invention can be carried out without departing from the scope thereof. Accordingly, to promote the progress in science and the useful arts, the invention is disclosed and is intended to be limited only by the scope of the appended claims.
