Description
- (1) Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a cleaning device, and more particularly, to a manual cleaning device which includes multiple cleaning units.
- (2) Description of the Prior Art
- A
conventional cleaning device 1 is shown inFIG. 1 and generally includes abase 11 and ahandle 111 is pivotably connected to thebase 11, and tworollers 12 are rotatably connected to the central portion of the underside of thebase 11. Eachroller 12 hasmultiple scrape plates 121 extending radially therefrom.Multiple idle rollers 13 are connected to the underside of thebase 11 so that when the user uses thecleaning device 1, thebase 11 moves smoothly by theidle rollers 13. When therollers 12 rotate, thescrape plates 121 remove the dust from the floor to thedust collectors 14 on two sides of thebase 11 so as to clean the floor. Nevertheless, thescrape plates 121 are located at the central portion of thebase 11 so that only the dust that thescrape plates 121 reach can be removed, if the dust is located at the corner or beside the wall, thescrape plates 121 cannot remove the dust. Besides, thescrape plates 121 can only remove the dry dust, it the floor has dirty surface including liquid stuff, the conventional cleaning device is difficult to clean the floor. - The present invention intends to provide a cleaning device which can clean different types of dirty floors by using different cleaning units.
- The present invention relates to a cleaning device which comprises a base having at least one dust collector received therein and an assistance unit is connected to one side of the base. At least two connection plates are connected to two opposite sides of the base so that a wiping fabric is attached between the at least two connection plates and located across an underside of the base.
- The assistance unit and the wiping fabric can be easily removed from the base so that the user can use them individually or together.
- The primary object of the present invention is to provide a cleaning device that is equipped with different types of cleaning units for different cleaning purposes.
- The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
-
FIG. 1 shows a conventional cleaning device; -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view to show the cleaning device of the present invention; -
FIG. 3 is an exploded view to show the cleaning device of the present invention; -
FIG. 4 shows the base is connected with the assistance device of the present invention; -
FIG. 5 shows that the assistance unit collects dust into the dust collector; -
FIG. 6 is a perspective view to show that the wiping fabric is connected to the base of the cleaning device of the present invention, and -
FIG. 7 shows that the assistance unit includes brushes. - Referring to
FIGS. 2 to 4 , thecleaning device 2 of the present invention comprises abase 3 which has an open underside and twodust collectors 33 is received in thebase 3. Ahandle 31 is pivotably connected to the top of thebase 3. Thebase 3 has tworollers 32 located in the underside thereof and eachroller 32 includesmultiple scrape plates 321 extending radially outward therefrom. At least twoconnection plates 5 are connected to two opposite sides of thebase 3, and theconnection plates 5 can be Velcro sheets. Each of two opposite sides of thebase 3 has twoengaging slots 30 between which theconnection plate 5 is located. - An
assistance unit 4 is an elongate member which has twoplugs 41 extending from two insides of two bent ends thereof, so that the two plugs are engaged with the twoengaging slots 30 in the two opposite sides of thebase 3. The user can connect theassistance unit 4 on either side of thebase 3. Theassistance unit 4 can be easily disengaged from or connected to thebase 3 as needed. Theassistance unit 4 has a wiping plate extending from an underside thereof. - A
wiping fabric 51, made of absorbent material, is attached between the at least twoconnection plates 5 and located across an underside of thebase 3. - Referring to
FIG. 5 , when using thecleaning device 2, the user holds thehandle 31 and moves thebase 3 on the floor, therollers 32 rotate and thescrape plates 321 remove the dust from the floor into the twodust collectors 33. The dust at the corner or beside the wall can be removed by using the wiping plate on theassistance unit 4 and then collected by thescrape plates 321. -
FIG. 6 shows that thewiping fabric 51 is connected to thebase 3 by attaching two ends of thewiping fabric 51 onto the twoconnection plates 5. Thewiping fabric 51 goes across an underside of thebase 3 so that the user can use thewiping fabric 51 to clean the liquid stuff on the floor. Thewiping fabric 51 is reusable and is easily disengaged from or connected to thebase 3 as needed. -
FIG. 7 shows that theassistance unit 4 includes brushes connected thereto which are an alternative way to clean the floor. - While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
