Description
- 1. Field of Invention
- The invention relates to a heat-insulating board for buildings and, in particular, to a combinatory board for buildings that has the soundproof, quick beat-dissipation, and fireproof functions.
- 2. Related Art
- The metal wavy board for covering the surface or roof of buildings has the heat-insulating and waterproof functions. However, the conventional metal wavy board has larger weight and area. It is thus very difficult to transport and install them. Moreover, they usually have the drawbacks of quick heat absorption and slow heat dissipation. When it is raining, raindrops make larger noises when they hit the metal boards.
- To enhance the heat-insulating effect, one usually put a heat-insulating material (e.g., Styrofoam board or foam) at the bottom of the metal wavy boards. Although this method achieves better heat insulation, it is very dangerous when there is a fire. Such heat-insulating materials are flammable. In a fire, the heat-insulating materials will be melted and drop into the building. This can worsen the fire and its damages.
- An objective of the invention is to provide a combinatory board that can effectively reduce the noises produced when raindrops, hailstones, or other objects hit thereon.
- Another objective of the invention is to provide a combinatory board that can effectively increase the lifetime thereof.
- Yet another objective of the invention is to provide a combinatory board that is fireproof and can reduce damages in case a fire happens.
- A further objective of the invention is to provide a combinatory board that provides a better ventilation effect for heat dissipation.
- To achieve the above-mentioned objectives, the disclosed combinatory board includes:
- two boards disposed separately, each of which has two opposite sides; wherein each of the sides has a slant section and an extension section, the angle subtended by the slant sections of the boards expands downward, and the outer surface of each of the boards has a buffering material;
- a fixing element, whose bottom is bent to form a locking part; wherein both sides of the fixing element have a fixing arm, respectively, the inner side of each of the fixing arms is formed with a joining section that corresponds to the slant section and extension section of the board and expands outwards, so that the inner sides of the fixing arms on both sides of the fixing element connect to the separate boards, the outer side of the fixing arm is formed with a set of connecting section and arc section, and more than one vent hole is formed around the fixing element; and
- a mask cover, both sides of which are formed with a set of connecting arm; wherein the inner side of each of the connecting arm has a connecting surface corresponding to the connecting section and the arc section, and the outer surface of the mask cover has another buffering material.
- The invention will become more fully understood from the detailed description given herein below illustration only, and thus is not limitative of the present invention, and wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is a three-dimensional exploded view of the invention; -
FIG. 2 is an exploded side view of the invention; -
FIG. 3 is a side view of the invention after assembly; -
FIG. 4 is a three-dimensional schematic view of the invention after assembly; -
FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view ofFIG. 3 along the A-A line, showing the state when the hot air inside is expelled; and -
FIG. 6 is a schematic view of the invention in another usage state. - The present invention will be apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein the same references relate to the same elements.
- The invention provides a combinatory board comprised of at least two
boards 11 disposed separately, at least onefixing element 21, and amask cover 31. - Each of the
boards 11 has two bent andsymmetric sides 12. The surface of theboard 11 different from theside 12 is formed with several strengtheningribs 111 in the longitudinal direction. Each of thesides 12 first tilts upwards to form aslant section 13. The end of theslant section 13 bends upward and extends to form anextension section 14. The angle subtended by theslant sections 13 on theadjacent sides 12 of theboards 11 expands downwards. The outer surface of theboard 11 is attached with abuffering material 16 made of a Styrofoam board or foam. - The bottom of the
fixing element 21 is bent to form alocking part 22, which is penetrated through with alocking hole 23. It allows alocking element 24 to go through and to fix thefixing element 21 on the beam of a roof (not shown). Both sides of thefixing element 21 have afixing arm 25 tilting downward, respectively. The inner side of eachfixing arm 25 is formed with a joiningsection 26 that has a shape corresponding to theslant section 13 andextension section 14 of theboard 11 and expands outward. Thefixing element 21 is thus connected to thesides 12 of theboards 11 by the joiningsections 26 on the inner sides of the twofixing arms 25. The outer side of thefixing arm 25 is formed with a connectingsection 27. The end of the connectingsection 27 protrudes outward to form anarc section 28. More than onevent hole 29 is formed around thefixing element 21. - Both sides of the mask cover 31 tilt downward to form a connecting
arm 32, respectively. The inner side of the connectingarm 32 has a connectingsurface 33 corresponding to the connectingsection 27 andarc section 28 on the outer side of thefixing element 21. The connectingarm 32 of themask cover 31 is slightly elastic. Therefore, when themask cover 31 and thefixing element 21 are combine, one can slightly bend the connectingarms 32 of themask cover 31 outward in order to conveniently combine with thefixing element 21. The connectingsurface 33 on the inner side of the connectingarm 32 of themask cover 31 can thus connect with the connectingsection 27 and thearc section 28 of thefixing element 21. After themask cover 31 and thefixing element 21 are connected with each other, the interior of themask cover 31 forms anairflow space 41. The outer surface of themask cover 31 is attached with abuffering material 34 also made of a Styrofoam board or foam. - The invention after assembly is shown in
FIGS. 4 and 5 . The end on the inner side of the connectingarm 32 of themask cover 31 and theextension section 14 of the twoadjacent sides 12 form agap 42 in fluid communications with theairflow space 41 and the exterior. Theairflow space 41 formed between theadjacent sides 12 of theboards 11 and themask cover 31 enables hot air in the building to flow out. The hot air flows from theairflow space 41 via thegap 42 between themask cover 31 and theextension section 14 of theadjacent sides 12 to thevent holes 29 formed around thefixing element 21. This achieves a good heat ventilation effect. - It should be mentioned that the
adjacent sides 12 of the twoboards 11 expands downward according to the invention. Therefore, it increases the area covered by the assembledboards 11, achieving the effects of saving materials and reducing costs. - Besides, the invention can enhance the strength of each
board 11 by providing a plurality of strengtheningribs 111 in the longitudinal direction on the surface thereof. In this case, one can directly use large-area boards 11 in the construction. As shown inFIG. 6 , the assembler only needs to lock alocking element 51 at an appropriate position on theboard 11 to firmly fix theboard 11 onto the beam 52 (or light steel frame) of a roof. It does not have the shortfall of deformation because theboard 11 is too large. - Since the outer surfaces of the
boards 11 and themask cover 31 are attached withbuffering materials boards 11. In addition to protecting theboards 11 and elongating their lifetime, this configuration also largely reduces the noises caused by the impacts of raindrops, hailstones, or other alien objects. Since thebuffering materials boards 11 and themask cover 31 cover the outer surfaces thereof, the invention can achieve a good antirust effect as raindrops or moisture is blocked outside. This also indirectly elongates the lifetime of theboards 11 and themask cover 31. - Moreover, when there is afire, the
boards 11 can prevent thebuffering materials - Although the invention has been described with reference to specific embodiments, this description is not meant to be construed in a limiting sense. Various modifications of the disclosed embodiments, as well as alternative embodiments, will be apparent to people skilled in the art. Therefore, it is contemplated that the appended claims will cover all modifications that fall within the true scope of the invention.
