The described preferred embodiments are presented for purposes of illustrations and description, and they are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.
- Referring to
FIG. 2 toFIG. 4 , achangeable modeling toy 2 according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises afront housing 21, aback housing 22 and achangeable modeling module 23. Thefront housing 21 has awindow 213, afirst surface 211 printed with a first scene, and asecond surface 212 printed with a second scene. Theback housing 22 has afirst surface 221 and asecond surface 222 and is connected with thefront housing 21. For example, theback housing 22 is connected to thefront housing 21 by afirst pivot 24 a so that thefront housing 21 and theback housing 22 can be hinged according to thefirst pivot 24 a. In other words, thefront housing 21 and theback housing 22 can be collapsed by states that thefirst surface 221 of theback housing 22 faces thesecond surface 212 of thefront housing 21 or thesecond surface 222 of theback housing 22 faces thefirst surface 211 of thefront housing 21. - The
changeable modeling module 23 is arranged between thesecond surface 212 of thefront housing 21 and thefirst surface 221 of theback housing 22. Thechangeable modeling module 23 comprises a plurality of modeling groups such ashead modeling group 231 a,body modeling group 231 b and lowerbody modeling group 231 c. It should be noted that thechangeable modeling module 23 may comprise more or less modeling groups. Each of themodeling groups changeable modeling plates 2311 that can be put together to create a variety of modelings. For example, themodeling plates 2311 belonging to the same modeling group are connected with each other by asecond pivot 24 b to page themodeling plates 2311 and put together desired modelings according to users. - In one embodiment, the
changeable modeling module 23 comprises asubstrate 2312. One end of thesubstrate 2312 is connected to thefront housing 21 and theback housing 22 by thefirst pivot 24 a, and the other opposite end of thesubstrate 2312 is connected to thesecond pivot 24 b. Therefore, thechangeable modeling module 23 can be hinged according to thefirst pivot 24 a. It should be noted that themodeling plates 2311 of thechangeable modeling module 23 may be removable and users can swap themodeling plates 2311 to create a variety of modelings. - According to the foregoing structure, the
front housing 21 may be opened to change modeling for users to see a second scene printed on thesecond surface 212 of thefront housing 21, such as a dressing room or a backstage as illustrated inFIG. 3 . And, thefront housing 21 may be closed for users to see the first scene printed on thefirst surface 211 of thefront housing 21, such as a stage as illustrated inFIG. 2 . Furthermore, users may enjoy watching the combined scenes through thewindow 213. By changing different scenes, users may have more imagination and fun. - In one embodiment, the

Therefore, while theback housing 22 is collapsed by the state illustrated inFIG. 5 , thesecond surface 222 of theback housing 22 can be considered as part of the second scene, for example, as a mirror. - Referring to
FIG. 2 , thechangeable modeling toy 2 of the present invention comprises alight emitting element 26 a, such as a light-emitting diode (LED), arranged on thefirst surface 211 of thefront housing 21. Thelight emitting element 26 a can light up themodeling plates 2311 through thewindow 213, which increase not only the stage effect of the scene but also the transmission effect of theoptical element 25. Alternatively, the light emitting element may only be used as stage decoration, such as thelight emitting element 26 b illustrated inFIG. 2 . - In another embodiment, the
optical element 25 covering thewindow 213 has a nature of generating three-dimensional pattern. The detailed structure of theoptical element 25 has been disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 5,800,907 which is herein incorporated in its entirety by reference thereto. Therefore, when theoptical element 25 is pressed close to themodeling plates 2311, some three-dimensional patterns will show on themodeling plates 2311 through theoptical element 25. - Referring to
FIG. 6 , the changeable modeling toy of the present invention comprises anaudio playback module 31 arranged at thefront housing 21 and/or theback housing 22. Theaudio playback module 31 is configured for outputting audio signals, such as music and/or sound effects. Therefore, on changing the modeling, theaudio playback module 31 may output suitable sound effects for the second scene, such as sound of running hair dryer or urging dancers on stage. While closing thefront housing 21 and enjoying the modeling, theaudio playback module 31 may output suitable music for the first scene, such as stage. Together with reference toFIG. 2 , thelight emitting element first surface 212 of thefront housing 21 can change lighting effects with the audio signals outputted by theaudio playback module 31. For example, thelight emitting element - In one embodiment, the changeable modeling toy of the present invention comprises a
motion detector 32 electrically connected with theaudio playback module 31. For example, themotion detector 32 may be an acceleration sensor or a vibration sensor. Themotion detector 32 can detect motions of the changeable modeling toy so as to control the audio signals outputted by theaudio playback module 31. For example, users can shake the changeable modeling toy to switch different music or output some predetermined sound effects. - To summarize the foregoing descriptions, the changeable modeling toy of the present invention includes multiple scenes so that users may have more fun with changeable modelings. Furthermore, arranging suitable optical element on the window of the front housing can enhance visual effects so as to further increase the fun of the changeable modeling toy.
