Abstract
A plastic candle includes a plastic wax and a capillary candle core wrapped by the plastic wax. In using, the candle core is first wrapped in the plastic wax, which is then kneaded manually by a user to be formed into a desired figure. Thus, the unique useful plastic candle is finished.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- This invention relates to a plastic candle, particularly to one composed of a plastic wax and a candle core so that a user can knead the plastic wax to form it into a desired figure.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- Commonly, a conventional candle is made by casting liquid wax into a mold with a preset shape, with a candle core previously put in the mold. After the wax hardens, the candle is taken off the mold, finishing the conventional candle. In addition, the liquid wax can be directly cast in a shaped mold such as a pineapple-shaped one. However, the candles made by the method mentioned above have a single color only, too monotonous for the look. While a candle with diverse colors has been afterwards developed to have a more aesthetic appearance, such as colorful candles stuck on a birthday cake, it always not only has an unclear color boundary, but also needs to be manufactured by means of molds, not so convenient.
- The object of this invention is to offer a plastic candle with a candle core wrapped by a plastic wax, which can be kneaded manually by a user to form it into a desired figure.
- The main characteristics of the invention are a plastic wax able to be kneaded manually by a user to be formed into a desired figure, and a capillary candle core to be wrapped inside the plastic wax.
- This invention is better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a preferred embodiment of a shapeable candle in the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the preferred embodiment of a shapeable candle in the present invention; -
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the preferred embodiment of a shapeable candle in the present invention; -
FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the preferred embodiment of a shapeable candle in the present invention, showing it floating on water while burning; and -
FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the preferred embodiment of a shapeable candle in the present invention, showing it being kneaded into as a particular figure. - As shown in
FIG. 1 , a preferred embodiment of a plastic candle in the present invention includes aplastic wax 10 and acandle core 20. - The
plastic wax 10 is made of polyethylene wax, with properties similar to clay so as to easily wrap up thecandle core 20. And, theplastic wax 10 can be kneaded manually to be formed into various shapes as wished by a user. - The
candle core 20 is made of a capillary string-shaped material for being wrapped in theplastic wax 10, with a length longer than that of the height of theplastic wax 10. - In assembling, as shown in
FIGS. 2 and 3 , theplastic wax 10 is first made to wrap thecandle core 20 inside. Then, knead manually theplastic wax 10 into a figure (A). So, the plastic candle is easily finished. - Moreover, the
plastic wax 10 can be formed into a variety of geometric figures, such as a cylinder, an elliptic column, a triangular column, a square column, a rectangular column, a polygonal column, a trapezoid column, a rhombic column, a starry column and a flowery column, etc. - The invention has the following advantages as can be seen from the foresaid description.
- 1. The
plastic wax 10 is so soft that it can wrap up thecandle core 20 and be manually kneaded to form a desired shape easily without any tool. Small bits of theshapeable wax 10 unburned can be collected for recycling use, able to be maximally used up to prevent it from making secondary pollution. - 2. As shown in
FIG. 4 , with a weight added under the plastic candle, the plastic candle can float on water contained in a transparent glass, achieving intriguing effect and upgrading safety in use. - 3. As shown in
FIG. 5 , different colors of theplastic waxes 10 can be freely mixed together to achieve a wide variety of colors and figures to enrich creative fun in our life. - 4. The flame intenseness of the plastic candle can be controlled by varying the number of the
candle core 20. - 5. A cluster of the small plastic candles can be formed by having the
plastic wax 10 torn into small pieces, which are respectively combined with thecandle core 20, so as to achieve a best economic effect while burning all of the small plastic candles. - While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
Claims (3)
1. A shapeable candle comprising:
a plastic wax able to be kneaded manually by a user to become any figure desired; and
a candle core being capillary and wrapped by said shapeable wax.
2. The plastic candle as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said plastic wax is formed into a cylinder, an elliptic column, a triangular column, a square column, a rectangular column, a polygonal column, a trapezoid column, a rhombic column, a starry column or a flowery column.
3. The plastic candle as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a weight is added under said plastic wax so as to enable said plastic candle to float on water to obtain an intriguing luminous effect.
