Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a cosmetic case, and more particularly, to a cosmetic case for charging powder in which a discharging rod of a hair pan descends to block a powder discharging hole, thereby preventing powder (powder cosmetics) from being discharged when a cap is closed, and the discharging rod of the hair pan ascends by a helical compressive spring to open the powder discharging hole, thereby discharging the powder when the cap is opened.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • Conventional cosmetic cases that are used for powder include a container for receiving the powder, a middle container disposed within the container to take the powder out of the container, a puff disposed on the middle container to cover the powder thereon in order to make up an individual face, and a cap coupled to the container.
  • However, the conventional cosmetic cases have limitations that the powder within the container should be taken out into the middle container in a state where the middle container is separated from the case to use the powder within the powder, and the powder should be evenly covered on the puff.
  • Also, the conventional cosmetic cases have limitations that the expensive powder is raised therearound, as well as the cap and the middle container are stained with the powder to pollute the inside of the container.
  • To overcome the above-described limitations, there is recently disclosed a cosmetic case including a container receiving powder, a middle member in which the container and a puff are integrally formed in one body, and a cap.
  • According to the conventional cosmetic cases, since the puff is integrally formed with the middle container, their usage is easy. However, since a discharging hole formed in the middle member is always opened, the powder received within the container is unnecessarily discharged when the container is disposed upside down or shaken to waste the expensive powder and pollute a circumference thereof. In addition, it is difficult to adjust a discharge amount of the powder because a unit for opening and closing the discharging hole is not provided. Thus, it is difficult to allow a user to make up their face as one pleases.
  • To solve these limitations, a cosmetic case capable of easily opening and closing a powder discharging hole has been disclosed in Korean Patent Publication NO. 2007-0094506 applied by the present applicant of the present invention.
  • A conventional cosmetic case includes a container, an upper moving part, and a cover. A receiving part for receiving cosmetics is disposed in the container. An inner circumferential wall and an outer circumferential wall are disposed at an upper portion of the container. An inward circumference eccentric having a through hole toward an inner lower portion of the inner circumferential wall is disposed on the container. The upper moving part is inserted and coupled into/to the outer circumferential wall disposed on an upper portion of the container. The upper moving part includes a powder conveying pipe, an injection hole, and an upper moving part outer circumferential wall. Internal/external brushes are inserted into the upper moving part to form the powder conveying pipe in a central portion thereof. The injection hole communicating with the powder conveying pipe is formed in a lower portion of the upper moving part, and a sealing part having a sealing eccentric extends toward a lower portion of the upper moving part. The upper moving part outer circumferential wall having an outward screw part on an outer circumference part. The cover includes an inward screw part on an upper portion of the upper moving part.
  • However, the conventional cosmetic case is very complicated in construction, and powder is not smoothly discharged. In addition, their usage is inconvenient, and the powder is unnecessarily discharged.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Accordingly, the present invention is directed to a portable charger and a charging method using the charger that substantially obviates one or more problems due to limitations and disadvantages of the related art.
  • An object of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic case for charging powder in which, since a discharging rod of a hair pan descends to block powder discharging hole, thereby preventing the powder from being discharged when a cap is closed, and the discharging rod of the hair pan ascends by a helical compressive spring to open the powder discharging hole, thereby discharging the powder when the cap is opened, their construction is simplified, the powder is not unnecessarily discharged to reduce the waste of the powder, their circumference is not polluted, and a discharge amount of the powder is adjustable.
  • Additional advantages, objects, and features of the invention will be set forth in part in the description which follows and in part will become apparent to those having ordinary skill in the art upon examination of the following or may be learned from practice of the invention. The objectives and other advantages of the invention may be realized and attained by the structure particularly pointed out in the written description and claims hereof as well as the appended drawings.
  • To achieve these objects and other advantages and in accordance with the purpose of the invention, as embodied and broadly described herein, there is provided a cosmetic case for discharging powder including: a bottle receiving the powder therein, the bottle including a stepped portion having a spiral portion at an upper portion thereof; a hair holder detachably installed at an upper portion of the bottle, the hair holder including a plate having a stepped portion coupled to the spiral portion of the bottle at a lower portion thereof, a hair pan insertion part at an upper portion thereof, a selectively expanded and contracted expansion part connecting the plate to the hair pan insertion part at a middle portion thereof, and a discharging hole in a center thereof; a hair pan in which a hair is fixed to an upper portion thereof, the hair pan being forcedly inserted into the hair pan insertion part of the hair holder and including a discharging rod for selectively opening and closing the discharging hole of the hair holder at a lower center thereof; an elastic member disposed on a top surface of the plate of the hair holder, the elastic member elastically and upwardly supporting the hair pan to expand the expansion part; and a cap spirally coupled to the stepped portion of the plate, the cap including a compression jaw on an inner surface thereof such that the compression jaw compresses downwardly a flange disposed on an outer surface of the hair pan insertion part to allow the discharging rod of the hair pan to block the discharging hole.
  • A screw part may be disposed on an outer surface of the stepped portion of the bottle, a female screw part and a male screw part may be disposed on an inner surface and an outer surface of the stepped portion of the plate of the hair holder, respectively, and a female screw part may be disposed on an inlet of the cap.
  • A plurality of powder passages may be formed in a middle portion of the hair pan, and the powder within the bottle may pass through the powder discharging hole of the hair holder and be discharged into the powder passages of the hair holder.
  • The elastic member may include a helical compressive spring.
  • A fixing protrusion for fixing the helical compressive spring may be disposed on the top surface of the plate.

The hair holder 120 includes the plate 121 disposed at a lower portion thereof, the hair pan insertion part 123 disposed at an upper portion thereof, and an expansion part 125 disposed at a middle portion thereof. The plate 121, the hair pan insertion part 123, and the expansion part 125 may be integrally injection-molded.
  • The plate 121 and the hair pan insertion part 123 are formed of a hard material, and the expansion part 125 is formed of a ductile material. Thus, the expansion part 125 may be expandable and contractable.
  • Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, the stepped portion 121 a coupled to the screw part 112 of the bottle 110 is disposed on a lower outer surface of the plate 121. A female screw part 121 b and a male screw part 121 c are disposed on an inner surface and an outer surface of the stepped portion 121 a, respectively. The powder discharging hole H is formed in the center of the plate 121.
  • A circular groove 123 b for inserting and fixing the hair pan 130 is formed in the hair pan insertion part 123. A hair pan fixing jaw 123 c is disposed on an inner surface of the hair pan insertion part 123.
  • The hair pan 130 is forcedly inserted into the hair pan insertion part 123. A position of the hair pan 130 is fixed by the hair pan fixing jaw 123 c.
  • The discharging rod 131 for opening and closing the discharging hole H of the hair holder 120 is disposed at the lower center of the hair pan 130. A slit 131 a is vertically formed in the discharging rod 131, and a blocking protrusion 131 b is disposed on a middle portion of the discharging rod 131. The blocking protrusion 131 b blocks the powder discharging hole H (refer to FIGS. 7 to 10). A ring-shaped filter F (refer to FIGS. 3 and 4) may be disposed in the discharging rod 131 of the hair pan 130 to filter the powder.
  • For example, the elastic member 140 may include a helical compressive spring. The helical compressive spring 140 is fixed by a fixing protrusion 121 d (refer to FIGS. 3 and 4) disposed on the top surface of the plate 121. Although the elastic member includes the helical compressive spring in this embodiment, the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the elastic member may include a rubber or plate spring.
  • The helical compressive spring 140 is inserted into the circular groove 123 b of the hair pan insertion part 123. The helical compressive spring 140 is disposed between the hair pan 130 and the plate 121 to upwardly lift the hair pan 130, thereby to expand the expansion part 125.
  • When the hair pan 130 is lifted upward, the blocking protrusion 131 b of the discharging rod 131 of the hair pan 130 is configured to open the powder discharging hole H.
  • A plurality of powder passages P is formed in a middle portion of the hair pan 130. The powder within the bottle 110 passes through the powder discharging hole H of the hair holder 120 and is discharged into the powder passages P of the hair holder 120.
  • A female screw part 151 a is disposed on an inlet of the cap 150, and the compression jaw 151 is disposed on an inner surface of the cap 150.
  • When the cap 150 is spirally coupled to the stepped portion 121 a of the plate 121, the compression jaw 151 of the cap 150 compresses downwardly the flange 123 a disposed on the outer surface of the hair pan insertion part 123. Thus, the expansion part 125 is compressed, and the discharging rod 131 of the hair pan 130 descends to block the powder discharging hole H (refer to FIGS. 11 and 12).
  • An operation of the cosmetic case 100 for discharging the powder according to the present invention will be described in detail.
  • Referring to FIG. 3, when the cap 150 is closed, the compression jaw 151 of the cap 150 overcomes an elastic and repellent force of the elastic member 140 to downwardly compress the hair holder 120. Thus, the expansion part 125 of the hair holder 120 is compressed, and the discharging rod 131 of the hair pan 130 descends to block the powder discharging hole H.
  • Since the discharging rod 131 descends to block the powder discharging hole H, the powder is not unnecessarily discharged to reduce waste of the powder. In addition, it may prevent their circumference from being polluted.
  • Referring to FIG. 4, when the cap is opened, the expansion part 125 is expanded by the elastic and repellent force of the elastic member 140 to upwardly lift the hair holder 120. Thus, the discharging rod 131 of the hair pan 130 opens the powder discharging hole H. When the powder discharging hole H is opened, the powder is discharged into the powder passages P of the hair pan 130 through the powder discharging hole H.
  • As described above, when the cap is closed, the discharging rod of the hair pan descends to block the powder discharging hole, thereby to prevent the powder from being discharged. When the cap is opened, the discharging rod of the hair pan ascends by the helical compressive spring to open the powder discharging hole, thereby to discharge the powder. According to the cosmetic case for discharging the powder, their construction can be simplified, and the powder cannot be unnecessarily discharged to reduce the waste of the powder. Also, it can prevent their circumference from being polluted. In addition, the discharge amount of the powder can be adjusted to allow a user to easily make up their face as one pleases.
  • It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made in the present invention. Thus, it is intended that the present invention covers the modifications and variations of this invention provided they come within the scope of the appended claims and their equivalents.
