Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a gun holster clamping structure, and more particularly to an anti-snatch structure of a rotating gun holster.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • With reference to FIG. 1 for a conventional gun holster structure, the gun holster structure comprises two major components, respectively: a fixed portion 1 and a rotating holster 2 pivotally coupled to the fixed portion 1, wherein the fixed portion 1 is mounted onto a waist belt of a user, and the rotating holster 2 is provided for holding a handgun and exposing a gun handle, such that if a user grips the gun handle of the handgun to draw the handgun out from the rotating holster 2, the user needs to rotate the rotating holster 2 and tilt the rotating holster 2 forward, such that the user can complete the motion of drawing the handgun without let or hindrance, so as to achieve the effect of intimidating an enemy.
  • The aforementioned gun holster structure is a gun holster structure most complying with the required ergonomic design at present and used extensively in military and police equipments. However, the aforementioned rotating holster does not come with any clamping or anti-snatch function, and thus a robber or a second party can snatch away the handgun from a front side or a back side of the user. Since the rotating holster can be rotated, the handgun can be drawn out and snatched away easily.
  • Therefore, related manufacturers developed an anti-snatch structure to restrict the rotating holster 2 in a way that the gun can be drawn successfully only if the rotating holster 2 is rotated and tilted forward. In FIG. 1, an additional curved groove 91 is formed on the fixed portion 1 of the anti-snatch structure, and a deep groove 911 and a shallow groove 912 with different depths are formed at the bottom of the curved groove 91, and the rotating holster 2 includes an elastic sliding lump 92 capable of elastically displacing towards the fixed portion 1. Normally, an end of the elastic sliding lump 92 is abutted in the shallow groove 912, and another end is inserted into a handgun trigger guide position P by the elasticity of the elastic sliding lump 92, so that the handgun cannot be drawn out from the gun holster (as shown in FIG. 2). If a user wants to draw the handgun, the user simply needs to rotate and tilt the rotating holster 2 forward (as shown in FIG. 3), so that after the elastic sliding lump 92 slides from the shallow groove 911 to the deep groove 912, the elastic sliding lump 92 is displaced elastically to the position of the deep groove 912 and retracted from the handgun trigger guide P, and the user can draw the handgun out from the gun holster successfully.
  • Although the aforementioned method can restrict the rotating holster 2 to be tilted forward before the handgun can be drawn, the structure is too complicated, and a robber or a second party can similarly draw the handgun from the front side of the user. Obviously, it is an important subject for related manufacturers to provide a gun holster clamping structure capable of controlling the timing of rotating the rotating holster.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Therefore, it is a primary objective of the present invention to provide a gun holster clamping structure capable of controlling the timing of rotating a rotating holster of a gun holster clamping structure to achieve an anti-snatch effect.
  • To achieve the foregoing objective, the present invention discloses a gun holster clamping structure installed between a fixed portion and a rotating holster of the gun holster clamping structure, and the structure comprises:
      • a clamping portion, disposed on the rotating holster and corresponding to the fixed portion, and an end of the clamping portion being protruded towards the fixed portion and in contact with or away from the fixed portion selectively for controlling a rotation of the rotating holster to provide a clamping function; and
      • a latch portion, disposed on the rotating holster, for linking the clamping portion, and an end of the latch portion being protruded from the fixed portion and a gun handle, and another end abutting against the clamping portion for controlling the clamping portion, such that the rotating holster can be rotated to draw out a handgun accordingly.
  • If a user grips a gun handle of a handgun to link the latch portion, the clamping portion will be displaced and released from the clamping function of the rotating holster, and thus the user can achieve a quick draw of the handgun. If another party snatches the handgun from a front side or a back side of the user, the latch portion cannot be touched, and the rotating holster remains clamped to prevent such party from drawing out the handgun, so as to achieve the anti-snatch effect.
  • Based on the aforementioned characteristics of the invention, the clamping portion is an insert pin passed and connected to the rotating holster, wherein when the insert pin is normally inserted or abutted at a side of the fixed portion, the rotating holster produces a clamping function and fixing the rotating holster at a specific angle.
  • Based on the aforementioned characteristics of the invention, the latch portion is an elastic snap plate for controlling a displacement of the insert pin and retracting the fixed portion, such that the rotating holster can be rotated accordingly to achieve a quick draw of the handgun.
  • Based on the aforementioned characteristics of the invention, the latch portion is installed onto the rotating holster between the fixed portion and the gun handle of the handgun, and the latch portion corresponds to the gun handle of the handgun, such that when a user draws the handgun, the user can apply a force onto the latch portion by a thumb to release the clamping function of the rotating holster.
