Description
- (1) Field of the Invention
- The invention relates to a holder, and especially relates to a holder externally connected with the housing of the display.
- (2) Description of the Related Art
- Please refer to
FIG. 1 for an exploded schematic view showing the conventional external holder of display. The conventional external holder is adapted to be fixed on adisplay 10 to accommodate a set-top box 20. Thedisplay 10 includes ahousing 100 having two planar edges respectively extended along X axis and Y axis and a plurality offirst apertures 110. The external holder includes twoelbow brackets screws 140. - The
elbow bracket 120 a transversely disposed on thehousing 100 along the X axis, includes a plurality ofsecond apertures 130 in corresponding with thefirst apertures 110 of thehousing 100 so that theelbow bracket 120 a is able to be firmly fixed on thehousing 100 by thescrews 140 driving through thesesecond apertures 130 of theelbow bracket 120 a and the correspondingfirst apertures 110 of thehousing 100. - Another
elbow bracket 120 b vertically disposed on thehousing 100 along the Y axis, includes thesecond apertures 130 in corresponding with another parts of thefirst apertures 110 so that theelbow bracket 120 b is able to be firmly fixed on thehousing 100 by thescrews 140 driving through thesesecond apertures 130 of theelbow bracket 120 b and the correspondingfirst apertures 110 of thehousing 100. The set-top box 20 is able to be downwardly inset the space defined by theelbow bracket 120 a and theelbow bracket 120 b in reversed direction of the Y axis. - However, because relative more components contained in the conventional external holder of
display 10, the conventional external holder includes twoelbow brackets screws 140 to hold the set-top box 20, the fabricating and assembling processes inevitably become time-consuming. - Please refer to
FIG. 2 for a front schematic view showing the conventional external holder fixed on thehousing 100 of thedisplay 10. - Because the jointing combination between the conventional external holder and the
housing 100 is used byscrews 140, thehousing 100 should be perforated a plurality of bores thereon (not shown) with sufficient fixing area A. Thereby, for small size of thedisplay 10, insufficient fixing area A becomes an problem in addition to an extra cost would be incurred to thread or ream the bores. - Accordingly, the object of the invention is to provide an ameliorated holder for effectively saving the component cost and improving the efficiency of assembly.

FIG. 6 for an exploded schematic view showing theholder 501 applying to adisplay 22 in the embodiment of the present invention. Theholder 501 is externally fixed on thedisplay 22 to accommodate the set-top box 20. Thedisplay 22 includes ahousing 201, with three edges respectively extended along X axis, Y axis and Z axis, and thehousing 201 includes a plurality ofbores 210 and at least onefastening portion 220, the number of thefastening portion 220 is the same as that of thehooks 521. - Refer to
FIG. 6A for a top view showing the mutually insetting of thehooks 521 and thefastening portion 220. In this embodiment, thefastening portion 220 includes anslide rail 221 and anfastening space 226 defined by theslide rail 221. When thehooks 521 downwardly is inserted into thecorresponding fastening portion 220 and pushed down along reversed Y axis, thehook 521 is moving on theslide rail 221 of thefastening portion 220 to inset into thefastening space 226 as well as theslide rail 221 correspondingly inset into thespace 525 of thehooks 521.
