Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • This invention relates to an intensive pallet and a unit direction plank for the same and particularly to a pallet for piling up and carrying cargo.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • Generally, cargo is loaded on a pallet to be kept from ground surface, be prevented from being flooded and damp, and be easily carried for warehousing by, for example, a forklift.
  • A conventional pallet mainly comprises a plurality of first directional planks, for example, longitudinal ones, and a plurality of second direction planks, for example, transversal ones. The second direction plank and the first direction plank stack and cross. Holes or caves into which the forklift's insertion levers may be inserted are formed at the side(s) of each unit of, for example, first direction plank or second direction plank. The insertion levers of forklift must receive the weight of cargo on the pallet, so the strength is concentrated on the insertion levers and works on the direction plank into which the insertion levers are insert. Accordingly, the first direction plank must be relatively of considerable intensity. Especially, the first direction plank and the second direction plank are made of wood that are nailed, and the strength of wood is not enough for wedge bonding, so the planks that are nailed together easily disengage from each other or split, which does harm to cargo safety and operation security. If it is planned to increase the thickness of first direction plank, the cost of materials and the load might increase. Likewise, the pallet made of plastics causes such an issue.
  • Further, in the prior art, the holes or caves into which the insertion levers of forklift may be inserted are formed, the top sides corresponding to the holes and caves are not fully capable of bearing the pressure.
  • Consequently, because of the technical defects of described above, the applicant keeps on carving unflaggingly through wholehearted experience and research to develop the present invention, which can effectively improve the defects described above.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In order to solve the defect in the prior art, an intensive pallet is thus improved; the pallet according to this invention comprises a plurality of first directional planks spaced from each other and a plurality of second direction planks spaced from each other. The second direction plank and the first direction plank stack and cross. In this invention, two frame holes are formed in each unit of first direction plank. One frame hole communicates with the other frame hole of the spaced unit first direction plank. A plurality of first ribs are formed at the top side of each frame hole. The first ribs are provided to enhance the top sides of frame holes into which the levers are inserted.
  • In this invention, a plurality of first ribs are also formed at the top side of each frame hole. The first rib, the second rib, and the inside edge of frame hole adjoin a slant or arc-shaped connection flake. The second rib of bottom side may be replaced with the top side for the effect of enhancement.
  • The first rib, the second rib, and the inside edge of frame hole adjoin a slant or arc-shaped connection flake. The weight or applied force received by the first or second rib may vertically and horizontally disperse towards the first direction plank. Further, the pressure laid on the frame hole may be made to disperse so that the top opposite to the frame hole less collapses when receiving the pressure of load.
  • It is the other objective of this invention to provide the intensive pallet structured with the unit direction plank. The direction plank may be a random direction plank, in which the planks in the embodiment is named the “first” plank and the “second” plank for easy distinction of the direction of use. In the following embodiments, the first direction plank is taken into example (not limited to the first direction plank). In this invention, two frame holes are formed in the first direction plank and a plurality of first ribs are formed at the top side of each frame hole. Certainly, a plurality of second ribs may be preferably formed at the bottom side of each frame hole. The first ribs are provided to enhance the top sides of frame holes into which the levers are inserted.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Now, the present invention will be described more specifically with reference to the following embodiments. It is to be noted that the following descriptions of preferred embodiments of this invention are presented herein for purpose of illustration and description only; it is not intended to be exhaustive or to be limited to the precise form disclosed.
  • With reference to FIGS. 1 through 3, an intensive pallet and a unit direction plank for the same are provided in this invention, and the pallet comprises a plurality of first direction planks (1) spaced from each other and a plurality of second direction planks (2) spaced from each other.
  • The first direction planks (1) and the second direction planks (2) stack and cross. With reference to FIG. 4 illustrating the first direction planks (1) and the second direction planks (2) that stack and cross, the first direction plank (1) is corresponding to the top of second direction plank (2), both of which are formed with at least one first bore (16) into which a bolt (17) is inserted for achievement of combined structure movable and removable so that the first direction plank (1) and the second direction plank (2) may be movable for installation and removal, materials may be easily stored and carried, and the space may be saved.
  • Further, in this invention, two frame holes (11) are formed in each unit of first direction planks (1). One frame hole (11) communicates with a next spaced frame hole (11) of the unit first direction plank (1). In FIG. 3, being viewed at an angle, a plurality of first ribs (12) are formed at the top side of each frame hole (11). The frame holes (11) may be inserted by the insertion levers (not shown) of a forklift. The first ribs (12) are provided to enhance the top sides of frame holes (11) into which the levers are inserted to lift. A plurality of second ribs (13) are formed at the bottom side of each frame hole (11) so that when the pallet according to this invention works in a reverse direction, the second rib (13) of bottom side may be replaced with the top side for the effect of enhancement.
  • Further, the first rib (12), the second rib (13), and the inside edge of frame hole (11) adjoin a slant or arc-shaped connection flake (14). Thus, the shape of a side of the first direction plank (1) according to this invention looks like a bridge and the archways of bridge. Then, the weight or applied force received by the first rib (12) or the second rib (13) may vertically and horizontally disperse towards the first direction plank. Besides, the pressure supported by the top of frame hole (11) of the first direction plank (1), the top's strength being lower, may spread around and transfer to a portion where no frame hole (11) is formed by means of the connection flake (14).
  • A plurality of grooves (15) spaced from each other are formed at the bottom of each of the first direction planks (1) according to this invention. In FIG. 8, a bottom plank (3) may be brought into each groove (15). With reference to FIG. 9, the bottom plank (3) is formed with a bore (31) into which a bolt (32) may be inserted for fixing.
  • With reference to FIG. 4, each of the bolts (17) making the first direction planks (1) and the second direction planks (2) stack and cross for combination may comprise a female bolt (173) formed with a hollow channel (172). An aperture (174) is formed around the periphery of female bolt (173), and a sub-bolt (175) is filled in the female bolt (173). Thus, when the sub-bolt (175) is filled in the hollow channel (172) of female bolt (173), the female bolt (173) may be made to appropriately expand and thus the bolt (17) may be made to stably join together with the first bore (16). Further, a second bore (18) is formed that is spaced from the nearby first bore (16). In FIG. 5, another bolt (19) may be provided to pass for achievement of stable combination.
  • With reference to FIGS. 6 and 7, a plurality of third bores (10) are formed at the top of first direction plank (1) according to this invention to shift each second direction plank (2) or increase the amount of second direction plank (2).
  • While the invention has been described in terms of what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention needs not be limited to the disclosed embodiment. On the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and similar arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the appended claims which are to be accorded with the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar structures.
