Description
- (a) Technical Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a wardrobe and more particularly, to a bamboo frame structure-based wardrobe.
- (b) Description of the Prior Art
- Students or people who rent a house usually use a simple type wardrobe for holding clothes. Regular simple type wardrobes commonly comprise a frame structure constructed of metal tubes, and a fabric covering surrounding the frame structure. The fabric covering is provided with a zip fastener for access control. However, a simple type wardrobe of this design has the drawbacks of low stability, low load capacity and low quality level. Further, a wooden wardrobe has a high quality level. However, because of high cost, a wooden wardrobe is not the best choice for a temporary resident.
- The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a bamboo frame structure-based wardrobe, which has the advantages of high stability, high load capacity, high quality level, and low cost.
- To achieve this and other objects of the present invention, the bamboo frame structure-based wardrobe comprises a bamboo frame structure, and a fabric covering surrounding the bamboo frame structure. The bamboo frame structure comprises two side frames, a top panel, a bottom panel, at least one intermediate panel, and two supplementary frames. The top panel and the bottom panel are connected between the side frames at the top and bottom sides. The intermediate panel is connected between the side frames and spaced between the top panel and the bottom panel. The supplementary frames are respectively fastened to the side frames in vertical. Further, the intermediate panel may be provided with a hanging rod at the bottom side for hanging clothes. Further, the fabric covering has a rolled-up shade on the front side for closing/opening the wardrobe. Screws are preferably used to fasten the component parts of the bamboo frame structure together.
- Further, the side frames are substantially rectangular open frames respectively made by bending a bamboo strip into shape. Further, one side frame has at least one transverse rod connected between the two opposite lateral sides thereof.
- Further, the top panel comprises a substantially rectangular open frame made from bamboo, and a plurality of bamboo slats fastened to the rectangular open frame and kept apart from one another. The bottom panel is made in a similar way as the top panel. Further, the front and rear sides of the top and bottom panels are respectively smoothly curved in one direction.
- Further, the intermediate panel comprises a substantially rectangular open frame made from bamboo, and a plurality of bamboo slats fastened to the rectangular open frame and kept apart from one another.
- Further, the two supplementary frames are rectangular open frames made from bamboo, each having a plurality of pegs.
- The foregoing object and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.
- Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.
