Abstract

A foam rectangular upper region with round periphery, an off centered square recess opening in which receives the ear of users, a elongated poly-fil material constructs bottom section. The two units are sewn together, designed for elevating and supporting a lower portion of the head, face, neck, and shoulder of user. Top section of head and hair suspend over pillow, aiding in a maintained look of the pervious day. A satin rectangular pillowcase with an off centered opening matches pillow opening allowing precise positioning of the ear in a side or stomach position of user, a zipper encases the dimensional size pillow.

  • This application relates to eyelash & hairstyle protection pillow, for resting or sleeping without compromising style or behaviors.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates generally to a eyelash and hairstyle protection pillow, and more particularly to a configuration that elevates the lower head, face, and neck while supporting the shoulder, top portion of the head and eyelashes suspends over the pillow minimizing contact of a person lying on their side or stomach, during a rest or sleeping period on a flat surface.
  • Women and girls that frequent hair salons often ask: “How can I maintain my artificial eyelashes and hairstyle?” This hair pillow is designed of a soft pliable resilient material configuration to minimize contact with artificial eyelashes and hairstyles of the user. Also aids in maintaining a look of the previous day offers a psychological uplift to the user. Women and girls change their hairstyles for fashion trends, special events and or occasions. The uses of artificial eyelashes are also wanted for the above reasons.
  • Examples of hairstyles this invention will protect are bouffant, feathered, freeze, teased, weaves, added ponytails, elongated curls and hair set with hair rollers; and also artificial eyelashes.
  • An attempt was disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 3,276,046 issued to Capelli, which is incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein. The Capelli disclosure is directed to a contour pillow in which can receive differently shaped dimensions for hair nesting. Insertion may provide a smaller aperture or hole which may receive the bun portion of hair on the back of a woman's head while still retaining full support around the remainder of the woman's head. Also it can be used as a conventional pillow upon insertion of the insert.

  • U.S. Pat. No. 6,584,631 issued to Jones Sr. is directed to a support pillow that has a flexible cushion supported by a plastic shell stabilizer. The cushion includes a base portion which supports a toroidal portion. An oval-shaped cavity separates upper and lower circumferential edges of the toroidal portion. The oval shaped cavity houses a domed protuberant.   • U.S. Pat. No. 0,486,028 issued to Cathey, is directed to a pillow being generally rectangular in shape having two sides and two ends and a central opening, the edges of said sides, ends and opening of said pillow being curved by having upper and lower surface on the sides and ends cemented together to form a rounded edge around the outer peripheral of said pillow and around said opening. A pillowcase having a central opening receives the pillow.
  • U.S. Pat.   • Most of the aforementioned pillows are configured to protect a variety of hairstyles, and hair with roller placement, in which the user's hairstyle is received into said hair pillows, or a plastic apparatus designed to accommodate a pillow. What is then needed and provided by the eyelash and hairstyle protection pillow is an off centered recess opening in which, receipts of the user's ear. The top of the head and eyelashes suspend over pillow, therefore providing the user with precise positioning, in which aids in a maintained look of the previous day. A satin material covering gives an added benefit to user's hair, helping maintain moisture and minimize breakage; furthering the benefits of said pillow.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention comprises a eyelash and hairstyle protection pillow for use during resting or sleeping on side or stomach position. Configured to protect artificial eyelashes and a variety of hairstyles with or without hair roller placement of user. Also varying the size and colors offers user's choices. The pillow and pillowcase can be used on any flat surface in home or while traveling.
  • The upper rectangular foam region is combined with bottom poly-fil material elongated portion making one submarine-shaped pillow.
  • Off centered recess opening receipts ear of user's therefore, allowing precise positioning of user's head, further maximizing benefits of said pillow.
  • Varying in sizes the submarine-shaped pillow doesn't change the said function of said hair pillow.
  • The satin material covering the hair pillow and pillowcase helps to maintain moisture and minimize hair breakage. The pillowcase can be removed for hygiene and aesthetics.
  • It is an object of the present inventions to provide maintenance for artificial eyelashes and a variety of hairstyles with or without hair roller placement of a user.
  • It is another object of the present invention to maintain moisture and minimize hair breakage.
  • It is another object of the present invention to be used on a flat surface in home or while traveling.
  • It is another object of the present invention to have a removable pillowcase for easy cleaning.
  • It is yet another object of the present invention submarine-shaped configuration to provide comfort and precise receipts of ear while lying on side or stomach position therefore, aiding in a maintained look of the previous day.
  • These above said objectives features and advantages shall become apparent after consideration of the description and drawings set forth herein. The objects, features and advantages are within the scope of the present invention.

  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • An embodiment of the present invention is designated generally by the reference numeral 5 in FIG. 1. Referring to several views of the drawings, preferred embodiment submarine-shaped design, with off centered square recess opening. Eyelash and hairstyle protection pillow 5 configured to be used on a flat surface as shown in 2-2 from FIG. 1, providing a means for elevation and support of the user's lower head, face, neck and shoulder when lying in either side or stomach position. The eyelash and hairstyle protection pillow 5 of the present invention is configured to receive the ear allowing precise positioning of the user's head while lying on side or stomach position on a flat surface 2-2. The eyelash and hairstyle protection pillow 5 is configured for minimize contact with eyelashes, hair and rollers therefore protecting the use of artificial eyelash placement and desired hairstyle.
  • An embodiment of the present invention 5 in FIG. 2 is a woman lying in a side position A, on a conventional mattress B, the top portion of the head is elevated C, allowing hair or roller to suspend over 5. The forward portion 12 supports the face and small portion of the user's head surrounding the ear. An off centered square opening 11 provides an opening for the user's ear relieving pressure, the rounded periphery 14 further minimizes contact with eyelashes, and pillowcase 40 in phantom line.
  • FIG. 3 Further, illustrates an perspective view. The submarine-shaped pillow is referred to as 5.   • The eyelash and hairstyle protection pillow 5 comprises of a supportive exploded view FIGS. 4 and 5, front view FIG. 6 and rear view FIG. 7. In the preferred embodiment 10 main square body of a foam construction, rounded upper periphery 14, forward section 12, recess opening 11, rear section 13, upper section 17, a square inner opening 18, with square periphery 23.
  • The elongated bottom is comprised of a poly-fil material 20, with rounded ends 21 and 22, half circle notch in the center 19.
  • With reference to FIGS. 4 and 5, exploded view is affixed together FIGS. 6, front view and 7 rear, view in accordance to FIG. 3 of present invention.
  • Alternatively, A perspective view FIG. 8 of the preferred embodiment, further showing the depth of 11 in which comprises 10 and 20 affixed together, therefore used on a flat surface 2-2, with user lying on side or stomach position (SEE FIG. 1).
  • Inconjunction with present invention includes a rectangular-shaped fitted pillowcase 40, with an enclosing zipper 41, a means of stabilizing eyelash and hairstyle protection pillow, an off centered square opening 42, receives the recess opening in eyelash and hairstyle protection pillow.
  • With reference to FIGS. 1,2 and 3 the pillow means 5 configured of a submarine-shaped pillow provides maximum comfort. The upper construction 10 is designed for precise positioning of user's face 12, back of the head 13, 17 elevates the head, when lying on side or stomach position, further engaging bottom section 20 elongated body with centered half circle notch 19, allows support of neck 19 and shoulder 21 and 22 of the user. The top section means 10, is preferably attached to bottom section 20, configured to achieve the most comfortable position of the user's head, 13, 17 face 12, neck 19, and shoulder 21 and 22 (See FIG. 3). A removable rectangular fitted pillowcase 40, with a zipper 41, stabilizing the pillow, an off centered square opening 42, providing precise fit of the pillow (See FIG. 9). The pillowcase was designed for the purposes of hygiene and aesthetics.
  • Thus although there have been described particular embodiment of the present invention of a new and useful eyelash and hairstyle protection pillow, it is not intended that such references be construed as limitations upon the scope of this invention except as set forth in the above claims.

Claims (13)

1. An apparatus for elevating and supporting the lower portion of head, face, neck, and shoulder of user while lying on side or stomach position:
a. an off centered square recess opening, wherein said user's ear receipt's in recess of said foam substance.
b. a elongated bottom having round ends, affixed thereto a said upper region.
c. the upper foam region of said rectangular is sewn to said elongated bottom wherein one unit is comprised.
d. the pillow design is substantially submarine-shaped.
e. a satin material covers the pillow leaving an off centered recessed opening encasing said pillow.
f. a satin rectangular pillowcase with off centered square opening of matching pillow, dimensional size, with zipper receives above said pillow.
2. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein a foam substance is configured to enable elevation of said user lower head, face, neck, and shoulder:

a. a rectangular foam upper configuration.
b. the upper periphery are rounded.

4. The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising:

9. An apparatus of claims 8 further comprising:
a. a satin material with a square off centered opening, matching the pillow covers the complete dimensional sized configuration.
b. a satin pillowcases, off centered square opening matches the pillow, of a rectangular shape, pillowcase with zipper receives the configuration
10. An apparatus for elevating lower head, face, neck and supporting shoulder while resting and or sleeping, on said apparatus comprising:
a. a rectangular foam configuration wherein affixed to an elongated bottom region therein forming a single unit.
b. a square off centered recess opening enables receipt of said user's ear, wherein the ear is unrestricted.
c. a satin material affixed to comprise making one unit, of a submarine-shaped design.
11. The apparatus of claim 10 further comprising:
a. a satin material rectangular dimensional fitted size pillowcase with off centered square opening matches pillow and a zipper receives above said configured pillow.
b. the said pillowcase of a satin material, rectangular shaped, dimensional size, with square off centered opening can be removed for hygiene and aesthetics.
12. An apparatus for elevating and supporting lower head, face, neck, and shoulder of a person lying on side, or stomach position on a flat surface, comprising:
a. a means of precise receipts of user.
b. a soft resiliency provides comfort to user.
13. The apparatus of claim 8 further comprising:
a. similarly the pillows may be provided in various sizes and the submarine-shaped configuration may have the outside to inside ratios changed, as desired. Also the material may come in various colors and designs making the pillow attractive and decorative to the user. Some pillows may be manufactured with unisex preference material, or youth preference material.
