Abstract

A cap designed with a bore provided allows the user to gain the advantage of leverage and control. Placing a cylindrical object through the bore of a hard to open nail polish cap or a potentially hazardous champagne cap provides the user safety and ease while dismantling.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The tendency of nail polish bottles to harden between the opposed threads of the cap, make it difficult and often times impossible to remove the cap. The tendency of a champagne cap and other carbonated beverages to sky rocket through the air when opened, can be hazardous. Further, various tools such as: vise grips, channel locks, wrenches are hard to use correctly and they are often misplaced.
  • OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
  • It is the object of the present invention to provide an easy and safe way to open caps of all types by allowing the user to insert through a bore provided a cylindrical pen, pencil, screw driver or any similar device. The user gains the advantage of leverage and control.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Briefly, the aforementioned of the present invention are satisfied by providing a bore in caps of all types, specifically hard to open or hazardous caps, for the ease and safety of dismantling. The user gains the advantage of leverage and control and the convenience of using handy items such as a pen, pencil, screw driver or any similar device.
  • Other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent upon perusal of the following description of the preferred embodiment thereof when taken in conjunction with the appended drawings wherein:
  • FIG. 1 is a front elevational view of the bored cap of the present invention positioned for the use on a spray paint can;
  • FIG. 2 is a left side elevation view thereof, the right side being a mirror image.
  • FIG. 3 is a front elevational view of the bored cap of the present invention positioned for the use on a nail polish bottle;
  • FIG. 4 is a left side elevation view thereof, the right side being a mirror image.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 of the drawings of the present invention, the cap is preferably a ridged plastic material but it could be made of metal or any material capable of containing liquids of solids. The broken lines indicate the provided bore through which a cylindrical apparatus may be inserted and pressed downward or in some cases upward into tight frictional engagement with the cap. Leverage and control are provided for the ease and safety of dismantling the cap.
  • While the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail, it should be understood that modifications, omissions and additions in the details thereof are possible within the intended scope and spirit of the invention claimed herein.
