Abstract

The inventive concept includes a regular commercial glove box that normally has an oval opening at the top to manually extricate gloves there from. The glove box is placed in another container surrounding the regular glove box. The container has on one side thereof an opening that overlies the oval opening of the regular glove box. The opening of the container is covered by a pliable insert that has an undulating slit therein. This way, any excess gloves pulled from the regular glove box opening will be stripped away and only one glove grabbed by a hand of a person can be extricated.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The inventive concept pertains to a box that dispenses gloves and other items such as tissue paper. The regular boxes on the market that contain gloves have an open and oval opening on top of the box.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • In normal use of the above mentioned regular box, it happens invariably that more than one than item is pulled out of the box and the extra item or items have to be stuffed back into the box. This is especially true in hospitals or other establishments where a constant use of surgical gloves is required. The inventive concept is also true in grocery stores behind lunch counters or Deli counters where the servers are in constant touch with raw food.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The inventive concept involves a second container which will snugly receive the regular commercial box that has the gloves therein. A front of the second container covers the normal oval opening but is replaced by a cover that has an undulating slit therein and is placed over the oval opening. In this manner when a person reaches into the box to withdraw a glove, for example, any extra gloves that want to come along too are stripped away in the undulating slit and are retained within the box.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 shows a second container box containing a regular box therein;
  • FIG. 2 Shows one half of a second container with a plate covering the Opening;
  • FIG. 3 is a view of FIG. 2 with the plate installed;
  • FIG. 4 Shows the second container with the regular box therein installed in a wire frame work;
  • FIG. 5 illustrates the regular box installed in a different second container.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • FIG. 1 illustrates a regular or commercial box 3 having gloves therein, for example, placed within a second more rigid box 1. This box 1 has a cover 2 thereon to close the same. The regular glove box 3 is stored inside the second or rigid box 1. The front of the box 1 has an undulating slit 4 therein which overlaps the oval opening in the regular box 3. When a person reaches into the undulating slit 4 and grabs a glove, and any additional gloves that are frictionally attached to that one glove will be stripped away and left behind in the box 3.
  • FIG. 2 shows a different system of controlling the glove dispensing action. In this FIG. 2 there is shown an angled receptacle 6 which would receive a regular glove box (not shown) just by placing the same into and onto the angled receptacle bottom.
  • FIG. 3 shows that the front of the angled receptacle has a rectangular cutout 7 which is being covered by a pliable insert 5 and the pliable insert 5 has the undulating slit 4 therein. This kind of an arrangement allows a person to place the glove box anywhere desired without taking up too much space.
  • FIG. 4 illustrates a method of displaying the second box 1 with the glove box 3 therein in a certain location. This is accomplished by a wire frame 8 that may be mounted on a wall in a predetermined location.
  • FIG. 5 shoes yet another way of mounting the glove box 3 in a certain location. This mounting consists of a rigid U-frame 9 having open sides so that a regular glove box 3 can be slid into the frame from either side. The front of the U-shaped frame is being covered by a plate 5 (FIG. 2) having the pliable insert with the undulating slit 4 therein. This U-shaped frame can be mounted on a wall or placed on a support wherever feasible.
