Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a snow remover and more particular to a snow thrower.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • No matter what kind of the power source is provided therein, a snow thrower usually provides a basic function to remove snow on the road. A snow thrower is including a main body with a power source, a transmission and an auger therein. A control handle is provided on the main body for the convenience of operation. In normal condition, the worker will spray snow-melting agent on the road after cleaning up the accumulated snow. But, according to the operation method of present, the shoveling job and the spraying job are separated. So, the worker needs to walk on the same area twice to finish both jobs.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The object of the present invention is to provide a snow thrower, which can shovel snow and spray snow-melting agent at a time.
  • To achieve this object of the present invention, the snow thrower of present invention including: a housing with a chute thereon has a power source therein. An auger is provided on the front of the housing. A transmission is placed in the housing for transmitting the power of the power source to the auger. A handle fixes on the outside of said housing for holding. A chamber is provided in the housing for containing snow-melting agent. There is an exit on the bottom side of said chamber. A controller mounts on said handle for controlling said cover and the size of said exit. An axle pivots at the rear portion of said housing and crosses through said chamber. Each end of said axle has a wheel thereon. A stirrer mounts on said axle.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the present invention;
  • FIG. 2 is a side section view of the present invention;
  • FIG. 3 is a perspective section view of the present invention;
  • FIG. 4 is an exploded view of the present invention;
  • FIG. 5 is a side view with exploded parts of the present invention;
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Referring to FIG. 1 to 5, the snow thrower of present invention including:
  • A housing 10 with a chute 11 thereon has a power source 12 therein. An auger 13 is provided on the front of said housing 10. A transmission 14 is placed in said housing 10 for transmitting the power of said power source 12 to said auger 13. A handle 15 fixes on the outside of said housing 10 for holding. These structures as aforesaid are the same as prior art basically.
  • The improvements comprising:
  • A chamber 20 is provided in the rear of said housing 10 for containing snow-melting agent. There is an import 21 on the topside of said chamber 20 and a cover 22 pivots on said housing 10 and covers on said import 21. There is a window 25 provided on said cover 22, which is made of transparent material. There is an exit 23 on the bottom side of said chamber 20 and a cover 24 pivots on said housing 10 and covers on said exit 23.
  • A controller 30 mounts on said handle 15 for controlling said cover 24 and the size of said exit 23. In this embodiment of present invention, said controller 30 can control said cover 24 by a wire 31, which connects with said cover 24. There is a spring 32 placed at the front end of said wire 31 for providing a elasticity to keep said cover 24 covering on said exit 23 in normal time.
  • An axle 40 pivots at the rear portion of said housing 10 and crosses through said chamber 20. Each end of said axle 40 has a wheel 41 thereon. A stirrer 50 mounts on said axle 40. Said stirrer 50 comprises plurality of blades 51.
  • By those structures as aforesaid, in operation, said handle 15 can control the moving direction of said housing 10 to shovel snow as a normal snow thrower. After said auger 13 shovels snow, said exit 23 can be opened and adjusted by the controller 30 on said handle 13, and make said snow-melting agent can drop out from said exit 23. Because of said stirrer 50 mounts on said axle 40, no extra power will be needed. When those wheels 41 rotate, said stirrer 50 would rotate too. Hence, the snow-melting agent will not gather in mass and can drop out from said exit 23 smoothly. By looking through the window 25, the quantity of the snow-melting agent can be checked. So, the operator will know when is the time to refill the snow-melting agent. When refilling the snow-melting agent, operator only need to open the cover 22 on said chamber 20.
  • According to the structures of present invention, operator can shovel snow and spray snow-melting agent at a time easily and conveniently. The work efficiency can be increased effectively.
