- The wall body of the conventional buildings is built basically by laying fire brick, mud brick, cement block, ash and sand brick, cement air brick, or concrete air brick. The fabrication and construction costs for these kind of wall bodies are always high, non-ornamental in appearance, bad in decorative effective, and difficult to install water pipes, electric apparatus, gas apparatus. Furthermore, the walls built in this manner can not be demolished easily, and the demolished wall bricks can hardly be reused.
- The aim of the present invention is to eliminate the defects such as high cost, bad decorative effect, inconvenient demolishing and building mode of the conventional cavity wall, and provide a new cavity wall with a cavity structure completely.
- The cavity wall of the present invention includes wall body frames and wall panels, the wall body frame and the wall panels are connected together fixedly by bond or connection elements; the wall body frame including:
- a top frame bar fixed on a ceiling;
- a bottom frame bar fixed on a ground; and,
- one or more middle frame bar fixed uprightly between the top frame bar and the bottom frame bar.
- Preferably, one or more middle frame bars are arranged between the top frame bars and the bottom frame bars.
- Preferably, one or more through holes are disposed in the middle frame bars.
- Preferably, projections are formed on the upper part and lower part of the middle frame bar, grooves and groove passages communicated each other are formed in the top frame bar and the bottom frame bar at locations corresponding to projections of the middle frame bars.
- Preferably, two wall panels are disposed oppositely on the wall frames.
- Preferably, each wall panel can be made from many small wall panels.
- Preferably, the top frame bar and the bottom frame bar can be disposed between said two wall panels, and can also be disposed on the upper part or the lower part of the wall panel.
- Preferably, said wall panel can be made of inorganic glass steel plate, ammonium phosphate cement, magnesium phosphate cement, magnesium oxygen cement, pottery and porcelain, stone etc.
- Preferably, some through holes are formed in the top frame bars and the bottom frame bars.
- Compared with the conventional building method, building material can be saved, construction cost can be reduced and building time can be largely shortened according to the present invention. The wall body of the present invention can be demolished and rebuilt easily, and the demolished materials can be reused and thereby saving resource.
- With a hollow structure of the cavity wall of the present invention, can facilitate the installation of the water pipes, electric wires, gas pipes etc. Some home facilities such as wardrobes, book shelves, shoes cabinet, document cases, safe box, household appliances, puddle, water tank, can be disposed inside the wall, and the space inside a room can be used fully. Functional material can be filled inside the wall body to adjust temperature, humidity and noise in the room.
-
FIG. 1 is a structural illustrative view of the cavity wall of the present invention; -
FIGS. 2 a, 2 b, 2 c, 2 d and 2 e are structural illustrative views of the middle frame bars of the present invention; -
FIGS. 3 a, 3 b, 3 c, 3 d, 3 e and 3 f are structural illustrative views of the top frame bars and the bottom frame bars of the present invention; -
FIG. 4 is an illustrative view of assembly of the wall panels; -
FIGS. 5 a, 5 b, 5 c and 5 d are cutaway illustrative view of corresponding locations of the top frame bars, the bottom frame bars and the wall panels. - In the embodiment of the present invention as seen in
FIG. 1 , the cavity wall includes atop frame bar 1, abottom frame bar 2,middle frame bars 3 andwall panels 4. Thetop frame bar 1, thebottom frame bar 2, and themiddle frame bars 3 form a wall body frame. Thetop frame bar 1, thebottom frame bar 2 are fixed on a ceiling or ground respectively, the middle frame bars stand vertically between thetop frame bar 1 and the bottom frame bar. There are twomiddle frame bars 3 in this embodiment; however, a plurality number of middle frame bars can be disposed between the top frame bar and the bottom frame bar. - The
middle frame bars 3 can be connected fixedly to thetop frame bar 1 and thebottom frame bar 2 by connection elements. The connection mode in the embodiment can be seen inFIGS. 2 a, 2 b, 2 c, 2 d, 2 e andFIGS. 3 a, 3 b, 3 c, 3 d, 3 e and 3 f.FIG. 2 a is a main view of a middle frame bar,FIGS. 2 b, 2 c, 2 d, 2 e are top views of the middle frame bar.FIG. 3 a is a main view of a top frame bar,FIG. 3 b is a front view of a bottom frame bar, andFIGS. 3 c, 3 d, and 3 e are possible top views of the bottom frame bar. Someprojections 5 are formed on the upper part and lower part of themiddle frame bars 3, somegrooves 6 andgroove passages 7 communicated each other are formed in the top frame bar and the bottom frame bar, the depth of thegrooves 6 and thegroove passages 7 is less than the thickness of the top frame bar and the bottom frame bar. Thegroove passages 7 are opened in the sidewalls of the top frame bar and the bottom frame bar. When the cavity wall is built, themiddle frame bars 3 are inserted from the open of thegroove passages 7, then theprojections 5 of the middle frame bars are pushed into saidgrooves 6 and the middle frame bars are fixed by inserting block members into thegroove passages 7.
