Abstract
A filing box includes two side boards, and a plurality of expandable file pouches mounted between the two side boards and each having an inside formed with a receiving partition. The receiving partition of each of the expandable file pouches has an open top portion that is cut in an upwardly inclined manner to define an upwardly inclined plane. Thus, the receiving partition of each of the expandable file pouches defines an upwardly inclined plane so that each of the files is partially exposed outwardly from the inclined plane of the receiving partition of the respective expandable file pouch, thereby facilitates a user placing and taking out the files.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a filing box and, more particularly, to an expanding filing box to receive and store files.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- A
conventional filing box 40 in accordance with the prior art shown inFIGS. 5 and 6 has an inside formed with areceiving space 41 to receive a plurality offiles 45. Thereceiving space 41 is defined by afront panel 42, arear panel 43, twoside panels 44 and a bottom board (not shown). However, thefiles 45 received in thereceiving space 41 of thefiling box 40 are not divided or sorted, so that the user cannot find the wantedfile 45 easily, thereby causing inconvenience to the user. - Another
conventional filing box 50 in accordance with the prior art shown inFIGS. 7 and 8 comprises twoside boards 51, and a plurality ofexpandable file pouches 52 mounted between the twoside boards 51 and each having an inside formed with apartition 53 to receive a file ordocument 54. However, thefile 54 is fully hidden therespective partition 53, so that the user cannot place or take out thefiles 54 easily and conveniently and cannot identify thefiles 54 quickly, thereby causing inconvenience to the user. - In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a filing box, comprising two side boards, and a plurality of expandable file pouches mounted between the two side boards and each having an inside formed with a receiving partition. The receiving partition of each of the expandable file pouches has an open top portion that is cut in an upwardly inclined manner to define an upwardly inclined plane.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an expanding filing box having a sorting function.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide an expanding filing box that facilitates a user placing and taking out files.
- A further objective of the present invention is to provide a filing box, wherein each of the sorting pockets is mounted on the receiving partition of the respective expandable file pouch to receive a sorting label, so that each of the files corresponds to a respective sorting label, thereby facilitates the user sorting and finding the files.
- A further objective of the present invention is to provide a filing box, wherein the receiving partition of each of the expandable file pouches defines an upwardly inclined plane so that each of the files is partially exposed outwardly from the inclined plane of the receiving partition of the respective expandable file pouch, thereby facilitates a user placing and taking out the files.
- Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a filing box in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 2 is a front view of the filing box as shown inFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 3 is a top plan operational view of the filing box as shown inFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 4 is a schematic operational view of the filing box as shown inFIG. 1 in use. -
FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a conventional filing box in accordance with the prior art. -
FIG. 6 is a schematic operational view of the conventional filing box as shown inFIG. 5 in use. -
FIG. 7 is a perspective view of another conventional filing box in accordance with the prior art. -
FIG. 8 is a schematic operational view of the conventional filing box as shown inFIG. 7 in use. - Referring to the drawings and initially to
FIGS. 1-3 , an expanding filing box in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises twoside boards expandable file pouches 30 mounted between the twoside boards receiving partition 31, and a plurality ofsorting pockets 32 each mounted on a respectiveexpandable file pouch 30. - Each of the two
side boards side boards drawing slot - Each of the
expandable file pouches 30 is made of a plastic sheet. Each of theexpandable file pouches 30 is mounted between the twoside boards partition 31 of each of theexpandable file pouches 30 is an individual receiving space. Thereceiving partition 31 of each of theexpandable file pouches 30 has a closed bottom portion, a closed front edge and a closed rear edge. The receivingpartition 31 of each of theexpandable file pouches 30 has an open top portion that is cut in an upwardly inclined manner to define an upwardlyinclined plane 34 which has a height gradually increased from the front edge to the rear edge of each of theexpandable file pouches 30. - Each of the
sorting pockets 32 is mounted on the open top portion of thereceiving partition 31 of the respectiveexpandable file pouch 30 and located adjacent to an uppermost position of the receivingpartition 31 of the respectiveexpandable file pouch 30 to receive asorting label 33. - In operation, referring to
FIGS. 1-4 , when a user's fingers are inserted into thedrawing slots side boards side boards FIG. 3 , theexpandable file pouches 30 are expanded by pulling the twoside boards receiving partitions 31 of theexpandable file pouches 30 are expanded to receivefiles 1 as shown inFIG. 4 . At this time, thereceiving partition 31 of each of theexpandable file pouches 30 defines an upwardlyinclined plane 34 so that each of thefiles 1 is partially exposed outwardly from theinclined plane 34 of thereceiving partition 31 of the respectiveexpandable file pouch 30 as shown inFIG. 4 , thereby facilitates a user placing and taking out thefiles 1. In addition, each of thesorting pockets 32 is mounted on thereceiving partition 31 of the respectiveexpandable file pouch 30 to receive asorting label 33, so that each of thefiles 1 corresponds to arespective sorting label 33, thereby facilitates the user sorting and finding thefiles 1. When not in use, the twoside boards expandable file pouches 30 and to fold the filing box so as to reduce the volume of the filing box to the minimum, thereby facilitating storage of the filing box. - Accordingly, each of the
sorting pockets 32 is mounted on thereceiving partition 31 of the respectiveexpandable file pouch 30 to receive asorting label 33, so that each of thefiles 1 corresponds to arespective sorting label 33, thereby facilitates the user sorting and finding thefiles 1. In addition, thereceiving partition 31 of each of theexpandable file pouches 30 defines an upwardlyinclined plane 34 so that each of thefiles 1 is partially exposed outwardly from theinclined plane 34 of thereceiving partition 31 of the respectiveexpandable file pouch 30 as shown inFIG. 4 , thereby facilitates a user placing and taking out thefiles 1. - Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
