Abstract
A handbag is made more versatile by removably wrapping skin around the bag. When a different bag designs and colors is required, the skin can be easily remove and change with another, allowing user to change handbag designs and colors without disturbing the contents of the bag.
Description
- So many handbag system had been use to create versatile ladies handbags. U.S. Pat. Nos. 7,028,730; 3,556,187; 5,533,558; 2,627,885; 2,118,400; 2,694,427; 6,820,664; 6,186,201; 4,754,790; 3,182,701 to name a few. They've been referenced to improve and create another bag system for the benefit of fashion, versatility, ease of use, economy and so on. . .
- The objective of this invention is to improve on all those categories; fashion, versatility, ease of use, simplicity, economy, easy to manufacture, you name it.
- Wherein said skin is formed from any flexible materilas.
- Wherein said shell is formed from any flexible materials.
- Wherein said handles is formed from any flexible materials.
- Wherein said first fastener half and said second fastener half are selected from the group consisting of magnetized materials, buttons, zippers and velcro.
- 2) The skin of claim 1 comprising handles.
- 3) The skin of claim 1 is formed from fabric.
- 4) The skin of claim 1 is reversible.
- 5) The skin of claim 1 comprising of four corners.
- 6) The skin of claim 1 wherein said first fastener half comprises snap buttons.
- 7) The skin of claim 1 is a carrying device.
- 8) The shell of claim 1 is formed from fabric.
- 9) The shell of claim 1 comprising of four upper corners.
- 10) The shell of claim 1 wherein said second fastener half comprises snap buttons.
- 11) The shell of claim 1 wherein said shell comprises a purse.
- 12) The shell of claim 1 wherein said shell comprises a pouch.
- 13) The shell of claim 1 wherein said shell comprises a pocketbook.
- The invention herein relates to ladies handbags and a bag system, wherein a skin and a shell are put together to form a handbag and a method of changing designs, styles and colors of such handbags.
- The invention herein consist of two main components: the skin and the shell. The skin having a pair of handle, which act as the carrying device, having first fastener half installed near each four corners will wrap around the shell. The shell which is the main bag where you put all articles, having second fastener half installed to the upper corners on each sides will engaged to the said first fastener half in order to secure the shell from moving horizontally. Different designs, shapes, colors and styles of the skin can be formed from a variety of materials to convert the bag from a user's preference; trendy to formal or formal to trendy.
- FIG J illustrates a shell in accordance with the invention.
- FIG K illustrates a skin in accordance with the invention.
- FIG L and FIG M illustrates a handbag including a shell and skin in accordance with the invention.
- FIG N illustrates a closed handbag in accordance with the invention.
- The invention will now be described in more detailed way in reference to the shown illustrations. It should be noted that the following embodiment descriptions are only presented by way of example and should not limit the inventive concept to any particular physical configuration.
- FIG J shows
shell 300 which formed bytrapezoid shape sides 800 a and 800 b, andtrapezoid shape face 700 a and 700 b. A set of fourfirst fastener half - While FIG K shows
skin 600 which formed by a sheet of any flexible material withedges 500 a and 500 b where handle 100 a and 100 b are attached. A set of foursecond fastener half skin 600 will fit perfectly toshell 300. - FIG L and FIG M shows
shell 300 is laid down to theskin 600. FIG M also shows first fastener half 200 andsecond fastener half 400 will engage by folding up both sides ofskin 600. - FIG N shows a handbag including a wrapped
skin 600 aroundshell 300. - When a user need another handbag design,
skin 600 can be easily removed from theshell 300 by disengagingfirst fastener half second fastener half skin 600 with different design or color preferred by the user to shell 300 by engagingfirst fastener half second fastener half skin 600. Thus, a handbag system is provided in accordance with the invention that includes a universal bag(shell) and two or more different design skins. - It should be noted that the above physical description of the present invention is not limited to this configuration only, nor limit the invention defined by the claims to any particular equivalent or combination thereof. Change in materials, design modification could be realized or developed by a person skilled in the art.
Claims (13)
1. A handbag system comprising;
A changeable skin which act as a carrying device, said skin having two oppossite short edges, said skin having handles attached to the two opposite short edges, said skin having four corners, a first fastener half, said first fastener half is attached near to said four corners.
A shell which act as pouch to accomodate articles having an open end, said shell having trapezoid shape sides, said shell having trapezoid shape face, said shell having four upper corners, a second fastener half, said second fastener half is attached near to said four upper corners.
Where said skin is wrapped around the said shell so that the first fastener half engages to the second fastener half, such that the said skin can be removed from said shell by disengaging the first fastener half from the second fastener half.
Wherein said skin is formed from any flexible materilas.
Wherein said shell is formed from any flexible materials.
Wherein said handles is formed from any flexible materials.
Wherein said first fastener half and said second fastener half are selected from the group consisting of magnetized materials, buttons, zippers and velcro.
2. The skin of claim 1 comprising handles.
3. The skin of claim 1 is formed from fabric.
4. The skin of claim 1 is reversible.
5. The skin of claim 1 comprising of four corners.
6. The skin of claim 1 wherein said first fastener half comprises snap buttons.
7. The skin of claim 1 is a carrying device.
8. The shell of claim 1 is formed from fabric.
9. The shell of claim 1 comprising of four upper corners.
10. The shell of claim 1 wherein said second fastener half comprises snap buttons.
11. The shell of claim 1 wherein said shell comprises a purse.
12. The shell of claim 1 wherein said shell comprises a pouch.
13. The shell of claim 1 wherein said shell comprises a pocketbook.
