FIG. 11 is a perspective view of the foldable wardrobe support of the present invention when combined with a side panel. - Referring to the drawings and initially to
FIGS. 1-3 , a foldable wardrobe support in accordance with the present invention comprises first stand (1) and a second stand (2). The first stand (1) and second stand (2) are symmetrically faced to each other. Each stand (1, 2) includes a rear post (4) having two first snap portions (9) formed thereon and a front post (3) parallel to the rear post (4). A cross structure (5) is attached to the two rear posts (4) of the first stand (1) and the second stand (2). The cross structure (5) has two rods pivoted to each other in the middle portions thereof. Each rod includes two opposite ends having a second snap portion formed thereon. Each second snap portion is snapped to a corresponding one of the first snap portions (9). In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, each first snap portion (9) is a male structure and each second snap portion is a female structure. - With reference to
FIGS. 4 and 5 , at least one partition (6) is horizontally disposed between the first stand (1) and the second stand (2). Each partition (6) has a first side rod, a second side rod and a pair of lateral rods (8) to define a parallelogram. There are multiple holes respectively defined in the first stand (1) and the second stand (2) for receiving two opposite ends of each of the side rods of the partition (6). Each lateral rod (8) has a first end secured on the first side rod and a second end formed with a hook (7) hooked the second side rod. Further with reference toFIG. 9 , at least one linkage, with two opposite ends, connected to the pair of lateral rods. - When folding the support of the present invention, the operator only needs to detach the first snap portions (9) of the rear posts (4) and the second snap portions of the cross structure (5), and disengage the hooks (7) from the side rods. As a result, the first stand (1), the second stand (2) and the at least one partition (6) can be piled up on after one.
- Furthermore, when detaching the partition (6), the hook (7) of each lateral rod (8) is disengaged from the second side rod. A first end of the second side rod is laterally inserted into the hole in the front post/rear post (3/4) and a second end of the second side rod is detached from the hole in the rear post/front post (4/3). Then, the first end of the second side rod is detached from the front post/rear post (3/4). The detaching processes of the first side rod are the same as that of the second side rod. Consequently, the hook (7) is a convenient design for user to detach the partition (6) from the first stand (1) and the second sand (2).
- With reference to
FIG. 6 , the reference number (14) shows the partitions (6) that are piled, the reference number (15) shows the closed cross structure (5) and the reference number (16) shows the stands (1, 2) that are piled. All the elements of the present invention are piled one after one for easily packaging, transporting and stored. - With reference to
FIG. 7 shows a second embodiment of the foldable wardrobe support in accordance with the present invention, the first stand (10) is used as a front stand, the second stand (13) is used as a rear stand and the cross structure (11) is laterally attached to the first stand (10) and the second stand (13). The first stand (10) and second (13) can be abutted each other after detaching the cross structure (11). - With reference to
FIG. 8 that shows a third embodiment of the foldable wardrobe support in accordance with the present invention, the partition (6) is made of steel wire. - With reference to
FIG. 9 , wherein the support (100) of the present invention further comprises at least one drawer (20) supported by the at least one partition, the drawer (20) has two opposite sides each having a strap (201) extending therefrom. A first buckle (203) is secured on a free end of the strap (201) and a second buckle (202) is secured on each opposite side of the drawer (20). At least one connecting rod (21) is lain across between the front post (3) and the rear post (4) of each of the first stand and the second stand. The first buckle (203) is attached to the second buckle (202) after the strap (201) coiling a corresponding one of the connecting rods (21) such that the drawer (20) is slidable relative to the support (100) in accordance with the present invention. - In addition, the drawer (20) is a foldable structure and has a bottom plate disposed thereon such that the drawer (20) can be smoothly slid on the partition (6). In addition, the straps (201) can prevent the drawer (20) from detaching from the support (100).
- With reference to
FIG. 10 , the support (100) of the present invention further comprises a top panel (30) mounted to a top of the first stand and the second stand. The front post (3) and the rear post (4) of each of the first stand and the second stand respectively have a sleeve (31) longitudinally extending therefrom. The top panel (30) has four stubs (301) downward extending therefrom. Each stub (301) received in a corresponding one of the four sleeves (31) to hold the top panel (30) in place. The top panel (30) is detached from the first stand and the second stand before folding the support (100). - With reference to
FIG. 10A , each sleeve (31) has a through hole (304) laterally defined therein. Each stub (301) has a cavity (302) laterally defined therein and communicating with the through hole (304) in a corresponding one of the four sleeves (31) when the top panel (30) is mounted to the top of the support (100). A ball (303) is partially received in the cavity (302) in each of the stubs (301). The ball (303) is fully received in the cavity (302) when pressed. The ball (303) is engaged to the through hole (304) in a corresponding one of the four sleeves (31) for promoting the connection between the top panel (30) and the support (100). - With reference to
FIG. 11 , the support (100) further comprises at least one side panel (40) laterally mounted to a corresponding one of the two stands. The front post (3) and the rear post (4) of each of the two stands (1, 2) respectively at least one first connecting structure (41) outward formed thereon. The side panel (40) has at least one second connecting structure (42) to connect with the first connecting structure (41) to hold the side panel (40) in place. - Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
