Description
- The invention relates to a technique for holding a ceiling fan, more particularly, to a shock mitigation suspension structure of a ceiling fan, with the structure, shock may be mitigated and noise may decrease.
- A ceiling fan is usually hung on a ceiling and drived by a motor. When the ceiling fan works, air may be guided from upside of the ceiling fan to underside of the ceiling fan, which makes air within a room circulate continuously, so as to dispel cool air congregating near the ceiling and hot air congregating near the ground. When the ceiling fan cooperates with air-conditioner to cool room temperature, less energy may be consumed. Additionally, some ceiling fan having elegant shapes may be as a decoration in the room.
- Usually, a ceiling fan is fixed on a suspension structure through a pole and with less pivots to a ceiling, so when the fan blades of the ceiling fan rotate at a high speed, the ceiling fan may vibrate constantly, then the tremor may be transferred to the suspension structure through the pole and produce vibration noise, finally the vibration noise may affect the living quality of a user; and constant vibration of the ceiling fan may affect the life of the ceiling fan, so how to reduce the vibration of a working ceiling fan is an issue for the manufacturers.
- The inventor has been investigating the problem diligently and thoroughly, combining research and manufacture experience in the field, the inventor invents a shock mitigation suspension structure of a ceiling fan to solve the problem, the structure may obstruct effectively the way transferring the vibration to reduce vibration and noise.
- The invention provides a shock mitigation suspension structure of a ceiling fan, with which, noise producing in operation of the ceiling fan may be reduced and the life of parts of the ceiling fan may be extended.
- So, the invention provides a technique to achieve various objects and efficiency. According to the invention, a shock mitigation suspension structure is used for hanging a ceiling fan on a ceiling and the ceiling fan has a pole. The shock mitigation suspension structure substantially includes a fixing frame, a bowl-shaped underprop, a fixing plate and a shock damping unit. The fixing frame is fixed with the ceiling, and the bowl-shaped underprop is housed in the fixing frame, and a bottom surface of the bowl-shaped underprop has a through-hole going through the bowl-shaped underprop; the fixing plate is fixing at one end of the pole, and the pole extends into the bowl-shaped underprop; the shock damping unit is disposed between an inside edge of the bowl-shaped underprop and a bottom edge of the fixing plate, and the shock damping unit can reduce vibration.
- With the technique shown in the above, the vibrations produced in the operation of the ceiling fan may be transferred from the fixing plate to the shock damping unit, and the shock damping unit obstructs and absorbs the vibrations, thus noise produced in the vibrations is effectively reduced and the life of the ceiling fan is extended. A ceiling fan with the above-mentioned characters may have additional value, which may make the ceiling fan be competitive, popular and salable.

With theshock damping unit 60, vibrations transferred through thepole 15 may be obstructed.FIGS. 3 , 4 and 5 shows one preferred embodiment of the invention. Thefixing frame 30 of the shockmitigation suspension structure 20 is U-shaped and used for fixed on the ceiling. A below inside edge of thefixing frame 30 is formed as anarc supporting surface 31 going through thefixing frame 30. Thearc supporting surface 31 has acut 32 for thepole 15 of theceiling fan 10 passing through. The bowl-shaped undedrop 40 is arranged in the fixingframe 30 and an outside edge of the bowl-shaped underdrop 40 is formed as anarc surface 41 matching with thearc supporting surface 31. When the bowl-shaped underdrop 40 is accommodated in thefixing frame 30, thearc supporting surface 31 and thearc surface 41 matches with each other and the bowl-shapedunderdrop 40 is positioned automatically. A bottom surface of the bowl-shaped underdrop 40 is formed as a through-hole 42 going through therein for receiving thepole 15 inside. Near top end of thepole 15, a pole-shaped bolt 16 is formed flatly. An inside edge of the through-hole 42 of the bowl-shapedunderdrop 40 has anannular groove 420 and asoft pad 43 is disposed for nesting theannular groove 420 to prevent the vibrations of thepole 15 from being transferred to the bowl-shapedunderdrop 40. Inside the bowl-shaped underdrop 40, ahousing groove 45 with a larger diameter is formed above the through-hole 42, and thehousing groove 45 is used for housing theshock damping unit 60. The top inside edge of the bowl-shapedunderdrop 40 has two opposite embeddedgrooves 46 and apad 47 is disposed in the embeddedgroove 46 for housing and resisting the pole-shaped bolt 16 of thepole 15, (as shown inFIG. 3 ) to position the pole-shaped bolt 16.
