According to the user, the removable device can be detached from the display device without substantially affecting the appearance of the display device. The present invention may best be understood by reference to the following description in conjunction with the accompanying drawings from
FIG. 1A toFIG. 5 . - Refer to
FIG. 1A andFIG. 1B showing a first embodiment of the present invention, where aremovable device 100 is detachably mounted on aframe 110 having asurface 116, and anopening 112 is formed on thesurface 116. In the embodiment, theframe 110 is a casing or a holder of a display device. However, theframe 110 can be any casing or holder having aremovable device 100 disposed in theopening 112, but should not be limited to this embodiment. - As shown in
FIG. 1B , theremovable device 100 includes a receivingmember 120, acover 130, aplate 140, a connectingmember 150, and anelastic member 160. Having areceiving space 125, thereceiving member 120 is accommodated in theopening 112 and is connected to theframe 110. Theelastic member 160 is accommodated in the receivingmember 120, and thecover 130 is movably connected to the receivingmember 120. Theplate 140 is connected to the connectingmember 150. -
FIG. 1C further shows components shown inFIG. 1B in more detail. Theframe 110 has anopening 112 for receiving thereceiving member 120. The receivingmember 120 includes anupper edge 123 and abody 124. And on one side of thebody 124, the receivingmember 120 has a mountingstructure 121, such as a hook. To be connected to theframe 110, the receivingmember 120 is inserted into the opening 112 from thesurface 116, and thebody 124 is located within theopening 112 of theframe 110 and theupper edge 123 is substantially coplanar with thesurface 116 of theframe 110. When the receivingmember 120 is assembled with theframe 110, the mountingstructure 121 is engaged with theupper edge 114 of theframe 110 to fasten the receivingmember 120 to theframe 110, to prevent the receivingmember 120 from being detached from theframe 110 too easily. - The receiving
member 120 and thebody 124 includegrooves 122, and thecover 130 has ahook 132, which corresponds to thegroove 122 of the receivingmember 120. Theelastic member 160 is accommodated in the receivingspace 125 of the receivingmember 120, and thecover 130 is disposed above theelastic member 160 and is movably connected to the receivingmember 120. That is, thehook 132 of thecover 130 moves within thegroove 122, and stops at the one end of thegroove 122 to prevent thecover 130 from being detached from the receivingmember 120. - Then refer to
FIG. 1D , which illustrates theframe 110, the receivingmember 120, theelastic member 160, and thecover 130. The receivingmember 120 has aposition device 126 for fixing theelastic member 160, so as to avoid mis-alignment when thecover 130 presses theelastic member 160. Besides, thecover 130 further includes apillar 134 for positioning theelastic member 160. For example, thepillar 134 moves through the elastic member 160 (for example, through the hole of a spring), and is combined with theelastic member 160 so as to avoid mis-alignment when theelastic member 160 is pressed. The receivingmember 120 has a throughhole 127 on the bottom of thebody 124; when thecover 130 is moved, thepillar 134 is allowed to move via the throughhole 127. - Refer to
FIG. 1D andFIG. 1E , which illustrate the connection relations and operations among theplate 140, theframe 110, the receivingmember 120, theelastic member 160, and thecover 130. InFIG. 1D , the receivingmember 120 connects to theframe 110, and the mountingstructure 121 is engaged with theupper edge 114 of theframe 110. Theelastic member 160 is fixed onto theposition device 126 within the receivingmember 120, and thepillar 134 of thecover 130 is connected to theelastic member 160 as well as to the receivingmember 120. At this time, thecover 130 is at the first end of the receivingmember 120. Theelastic member 160 provides an elastic force to thecover 130, and thehook 132 stops against the top of thegroove 122, so as to limit the elastic force of theelastic member 160 pressing on thecover 130. Meanwhile thecover 130 is substantially coplanar with the surface of theframe 116. Accordingly, when theplate 140 is removed from theframe 110, thecover 130 covers substantially the opening of the receiving space 122 (i.e., the opening of the frame) of the receivingmember 120. This design provides the appearance of theframe 110 with a smooth surface. - In
FIG. 1E , theplate 140 is assembled with theframe 110. Thecover 130 is at the first end of the receivingmember 120, and the connectingmember 150 presses down thecover 130. When theplate 140 is assembled with theframe 110, thecover 130 presses theelastic member 160 by inserting the receivingmember 150 into theframe 110, and thehook 132 is moved along thegroove 122. Thepillar 134 moves through theopening 127 of the receivingmember 120, and meanwhile, portions of thehook 132 and thepillar 134 are exposed to the outside of the receivingmember 120 and the space of theopening 112. Thus theopening 112 needs space for receiving thepillar 134 and thehook 132. When theplate 140 is mounted on theframes 110, users can put decorations, note paper, and electric apparatuses (for example, webcam, microphone) etc., on theplate 140. When the users doesn't need theplate 140 for putting things, he can detach theplate 140 from theframe 110, and thecover 130 is moved to the second end of the receivingmember 120 ofFIG. 1D . - Referring back to
FIG. 1C , the receivingmember 150 includes aprotrusion 152 and a hole corresponding to theprotrusion 152 in the receivingmember 120 to engage with theprotrusion 152. In an embodiment, thegroove 122 of the receivingmember 120 can replace the hole for being engaged with theprotrusion 152. Thus there is no need to provide an additional hole. Alternatively, the receivingmember 120 can have a corresponding hole in the place corresponding to the location of theprotrusion 152. Note that the shape, the size, and the location of theprotrusion 152 should not be limited to the illustrated embodiments of the present invention. Theprotrusion 152 is expected to help the combination of theplate 140 and theframe 110, but should not hinder the user from detaching theplate 140. - In addition, the connecting
member 150 further includes a first connectingopening 154, and theplate 140 has a second connectingopening 142, as shown inFIG. 1F , to correspond to theopening 154. Thus ascrew 170 or other connecting means is able to connect theplate 140 and the connectingmember 150 via two connecting openings. In an embodiment, to simplify the design and the manufacture, theplate 140 and the connectingmember 150 are integrally formed by an injection mold, so the first connectingopening 154 and the second connectingopening 142 do not need to be formed additionally. Meanwhile thescrew 170 can be saved. - Referring back to
FIG. 1A , theremovable device 100 is disposed on aframe 110. ThenFIG. 1B shows the receivingmember 150 connected to theplate 140. The receivingmember 150 is inserted into the receivingspace 125 of the receivingmember 120 of the frame 10 to form a frame with aremovable device 100. When theplate 140 is disposed on theframe 110, the connectingmember 120 touches against thecover 130, and the connectingmember 120 is received in the receivingspace 125. Thecover 130 is pressed down by the receivingmember 150, and is at the first end of the receivingmember 120 as described above, as shown inFIG. 1E . Theprotrusion 152 of the connectingmember 150 is engaged with thegroove 122 so as to prevent theplate 140 from shocks and detachment from the receivingmember 120. - When the
plate 140 is removed, theprotrusion 152 is detached from thegroove 122 by providing a force. Now the connectingmember 150 doesn't touch against thecover 130.
