Relatively, when the display monitor 32 is rotated in the anti-clockwise direction to perform the operation of adjusting the monitor angle (e.g., as viewed from the front of the display monitor 32), thefirst adjusting component 44 is rotated out of thepositioning plate 42 in the anti-clockwise direction (e.g., as viewed from the rear of the display monitor 32), therefore this will be not reiterated. If thefirst adjusting component 44 is positioned within the first location ofFIG. 5 , and at this time the display monitor 32 is being adjusted to a horizontal level, a glue material can be applied between thefirst adjusting component 44 and thepositioning plate 42 so that thefirst adjusting component 44 is fixed to thepositioning plate 42, hence the adjustment of horizontal angle of the display monitor 32 is completed. - Similarly, as illustrated in
FIG. 4 , when the display monitor 32 is rotated to the vertical mode, thesecond adjusting component 46 within thearc slot 40 is being moved to a position near the second slot point P2. Please refer toFIG. 8 andFIG. 9 .FIG. 8 illustrates a cross-sectional diagram of thesecond adjusting component 46 positioned at a third location.FIG. 9 illustrates a cross-sectional diagram of thesecond adjusting component 46 positioned at a fourth location. Thesecond adjusting component 46 can be a cone-shaped screw; thesecond adjusting component 46 includes a cone-shapedscrew head 48 with athird radius section 58 and afourth radius section 60, where a cross-sectional area of thethird radius section 58 is greater than a cross-sectional area of thefourth radius section 60; thesecond adjusting component 46 further includes a fixedradius screw pillar 62 connected to the cone-shapedscrew head 56. When thesecond adjusting component 46 is positioned at the third location, thethird radius section 58 of the cone-shapedscrew head 56 contacts with the second slot point P2, and when thesecond adjusting component 46 is positioned in the fourth location, thefourth radius section 60 of the cone-shapedscrew head 56 contacts with the second slot point P2. The user can screw ascrew pillar 62 into thepositioning plate 42 by rotating the cone-shapedscrew head 56 of thesecond adjusting component 46 in order to switch thesecond adjusting component 46 from the fourth location to the third location. - Please refer to
FIG. 4 and at the same time refer toFIG. 10 .FIG. 10 illustrates a diagram of an adjustment of adisplay monitor 32 by switching thesecond adjusting component 46 from the fourth location ofFIG. 9 to the third location ofFIG. 8 . When thesecond adjusting component 46 is screwed into thepositioning plate 42 in a clockwise direction (e.g., as viewed from the rear view of the display monitor 32), thesecond adjusting component 46 will switch from the fourth location ofFIG. 9 to the third location ofFIG. 8 . Thesecond adjusting component 46 will exert a force towards the right of the fixingcomponent 38, as the fixingcomponent 38 is unable to relatively rotate at the axis O (e.g., the axis O is viewed as a fixed end). The axis O of the fixingcomponent 38 will generate a corresponding clockwise torque (e.g., as viewed from the rear of the display monitor 32), and drive thepositioning plate 42 to rotate in an clockwise direction relative to the axis O of the fixing component 38 (e.g., as viewed from the rear of the display monitor 32). From the direction of the user looking at thedisplay monitor 32, the display monitor 32 can be rotate in the anti-clockwise direction to perform the operation of adjusting the monitor angle. Relatively, when the display monitor 32 is rotated in the clockwise direction to perform the operation of adjusting the monitor angle (e.g., as viewed from the front of the display monitor 32), thesecond adjusting component 46 is rotated out of thepositioning plate 42 in the anti-clockwise direction (e.g., as viewed from the rear of the display monitor 32), therefore this will be not reiterated. If thesecond adjusting component 46 is positioned within the third location ofFIG. 8 , and at this time the display monitor 32 is being adjusted to a vertical level, a glue material can be applied between thesecond adjusting component 46 and thepositioning plate 42 such that thesecond adjusting component 46 is fixed to thepositioning plate 42, hence the adjustment of vertical angle of the display monitor 32 is completed. - Furthermore, the
first adjusting component 44 and thesecond adjusting component 46 of the present invention can be locked onto thepositioning plate 42 by the rear side of thepositioning plate 42 through thearc slot 40, the components can also be locked onto thepositioning plate 42 by the front side of the positioning plate 42 (in another words against a side of the display monitor 32), where an end is installed within thearc slot 40. Please refer toFIG. 11 andFIG. 12 .FIG. 11 illustrates a cross-sectional diagram of athird adjusting component 64 at a fifth location according to another embodiment of the present invention.FIG. 12 illustrates a cross-sectional diagram of athird adjusting component 64 at a sixth location according to another embodiment of the present invention. Thethird adjusting component 64 includes a cone-shapedscrew head 66 with afifth radius section 68 and asixth radius section 70, where a cross-sectional area of thefifth radius section 68 is greater than a cross-sectional area of thesixth radius section 70; thethird adjusting component 64 further includes a fixedradius screw pillar 72 connected to the cone-shapedscrew head 66. When thethird adjusting component 64 is positioned at the fifth location, thefifth radius section 68 of the cone-shapedscrew head 66 contacts with the first slot point P1, and when thethird adjusting component 64 is positioned in the sixth location, thesixth radius section 70 of the cone-shapedscrew head 66 contacts with the first slot point P1. The user can screw ascrew pillar 72 into thepositioning plate 42 by rotating thethird adjusting component 64 in order to switch thethird adjusting component 64 from the sixth location to the fifth location. Similarly, thefirst adjusting component 44 can be replaced by thethird adjusting component 64, thesecond adjusting component 46 can also be replaced by thethird adjusting component 64, and the principle of adjusting the display monitor 32 is similar to the above-mentioned embodiment, hence it will not be reiterated. - Furthermore, a fixing mechanism can be inserted between the fixing
component 38 of thepositioning device 36 for fixing the fixingcomponent 38 and thepositioning plate 42 when thefirst adjusting component 44 within thearc slot 40 is being moved to a location near the first slot point P1 or thesecond adjusting component 46 within thearc slot 40 is being moved to a location near the second slot point P2, then thefirst adjusting component 44 or thesecond adjusting component 46 is being rotated to achieve the objective of slightly adjusting the angle of thedisplay monitor 32. Please refer toFIG. 3 ,FIG. 4 , andFIG. 13 .FIG. 13 illustrates a diagram of a fixingcomponent 38 fixed to apositioning plate 42. Afirst fixing mechanism 74 is installed on the fixingcomponent 38, and asecond fixing mechanism 76 is installed on thepositioning plate 42 for fixing thefirst fixing mechanism 74 when thefirst adjusting component 44 within thearc slot 40 is being moved to a location near the first slot point P1 or thesecond adjusting component 46 within thearc slot 40 is being moved to a location near the second slot point P2. Thefirst fixing mechanism 74 includes at least aconcave point 78, and thesecond fixing mechanism 76 includes at least aconvex point 80, for example thefirst fixing mechanism 74 can include four concave points at intervals of 90 degree, and the second fixing mechanism can include four convex points at intervals of 90 degree respectively installed at positions corresponding to the concave points. When thepositioning plate 42 relative to the fixingcomponent 38 is rotated to a predetermined position, theconvex point 80 will join with its correspondingconcave point 78 to achieve the initial positioning objective. Furthermore, in relative to the above-mentioned fixing mechanism, thefirst fixing mechanism 74 can be designed to include at least a convex point, and the second fixing mechanism to include at least a concave point, for example thefirst fixing mechanism 74 can include four convex points at intervals of 90 degree, and thesecond fixing mechanism 76 can include four concave points at intervals of 90 degree respectively installed at positions corresponding to the convex points to also achieve the initial positioning objective of joining the convex point with its corresponding concave point when thepositioning plate 42 relative to the fixingcomponent 38 is rotated to a predetermined position. - In comparison to the prior art, the display device of the present invention adjusts the depth of locking the cone-shaped screw into the positioning plate to achieve the objective of slightly adjusting the display monitor to maintain the perfect horizontal or vertical angle. Thus the present invention can overcome the assembling tolerance during the process of production that causes the display monitors unable to have a uniform horizontal or vertical angle, which presents a problem of cost due to the increasing demand on the precision molding.
- Those skilled in the art will readily observe that numerous modifications and alterations of the device and method may be made while retaining the teachings of the invention. Accordingly, the above disclosure should be construed as limited only by the metes and bounds of the appended claims.
