Abstract

Finger sleeve grip pressure tennis training device.
An improved swing for tennis through the GRIP LOOSE finger sleeve-training device is provided through less grip pressure.
When wearing the finger sleeve there is a sound when the tennis player grips the tennis racquet too tight. There is a battery, sound module, wire, and a snap disc sensor on the inside of the said finger sleeve.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a teaching aid for assisting tennis players to improve their swing.
  • More particularly the present said invention relates to practice aids for teaching proper grip tension when playing tennis.
  • By holding a tennis racquet too tight, the swing will become rushed and uneven. With a loose grip the swing will be smooth and promote a better contact of the ball.
  • Having been a tennis coach of world-class tennis players, I found through years of teaching that when the hand is loose the play is of better quality. The tennis player also will use less arm power.
  • DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION
  • When swinging a tennis racquet, most tennis players hold too tight and are not able to feel the advantage of a relaxed swing through a loose grip.
  • The finger sleeve as shown in FIG. 2 drawing is a thin material that slips over the finger with a snap disc sensor on the inside bottom, and a battery, and a sound module on the inside top of finger.
  • DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1. is a top view illustrating the finger sleeve # 1 with sound module # 2, battery # 3, wire # 4, and snap disc sensor # 5.
  • FIG. 2. is a side view of finger sleeve # 1, sound module # 2, wire # 3, battery # 4,snap disc sensor # 5.
  • FIG. 3. front view of finger sleeve # 1, sound module # 2, wire # 3, battery # 4, snap disc sensor # 5.
  • FIG. 4. finger sleeve # 1, on finger # 2
  • SUMMARY OF INVENTION
  • Briefly in accordance with the invention, I provide a swing teaching aid device for tennis.
  • The said device is connected to the inside of finger sleeve.
  • When griped too tightly the said device will make a sound.
  • It is thus an object of the present invention to provide an inexpensive teaching aid device for assisting a tennis player in perfecting their tennis swing.
  • Conclusion
  • The invention described above “GRIP LOOSE” greatly assists in developing the tennis swing with the proper grip pressure.
  • Specific embodiments have been described in detail for clarity and ease of understanding.

Claims (5)
