Abstract

A method for manufacturing louvers of a shutter is disclosed. In the method, a roll of paper is cut into several paper sheets according to the weaving width. The paper sheets are soften with water, then the paper sheets can be shaped up after rubbing. The paper sheets are rubbed into several paper threads by a rubbing machine. Those paper threads are weaved to be a paper cloth by a weave machine. The paper cloth is sized and dried by heating so that the paper cloth is solidified. According to the shape of the louver, the paper cloth is cut into several paper louvers having a predetermined shape of the louvers of shutter. Two holes are drilled in the two ends of each paper louvers, so each paper louvers can be integrated in shutter. After that, each paper louvers is shaped by molding, a curved cross-section of paper louver is formed then each paper louvers can resist side pressure.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of Invention
  • The present invention generally relates to a method for manufacturing louvers of a shutter, and more particularly to a method for manufacturing louvers of a shutter by using paper or nonwoven fabric.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • In a home or office environment, some windows are installed inside the house to save the power energy. By the transmittance of the window, the house is not required to turn on the light to have enough illumination. When the sunshine is too hot and the people need privacy, most of people will install a shutter in a window to separate the vision and the sunshine. However, the louver of the most shutters is made by aluminium (or plastic). When the sun shines the light inside the house, the louver made by aluminium or plastic will absorb the heat and effect the result of the heat insulation. In addition, the louver made by aluminium costs too much and is hard to recycle after damage. Because the louver is hard to re-fabricate, it would cause the environment problem. Therefore, how to design a louver, which hardly absorbs heat, facilitates recycling and does not cost too much, is a big issue required to overcome.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • According to the drawbacks described above, the applicant develops a new louver for a shutter to overcome the problems in the prior art.
  • The object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing louver of shutter by using paper or nonwoven fabric.
  • According to the object described above, in the method of the present invention a roll of paper (such as recycle paper) is first cut into a plurality of paper sheets according to the weaving width. Then, the paper sheets are soften with water so that the paper sheets can be shaped up after rubbing. The paper sheets are rubbed into a plurality of paper threads by a rubbing machine. The plurality of paper threads are weaved to be a paper cloth by a weave machine. The paper cloth is sized and dried by heating so that the paper cloth is solidified. According to the shape of the louver of the shutter, the paper cloth is cut into a plurality of paper louvers that have a predetermined shape of the louvers of shutter. There are two holes drilled in the two ends of each paper louvers so that each of the plurality of paper louvers is able to be integrated in shutter. After that, each piece of the paper louvers is shaped by molding, a curved cross-section of the plurality of each of paper louvers is formed so that each of the plurality of paper louvers is able to resist side pressure. Therefore, several paper louvers of the present invention are formed.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing louver of shutter. The method utilizes paper (or nonwoven) to manufacture a louver, which hardly absorbs heat, facilitates recycling, does not cost too much and is able to be decomposed by natural mechanisms. Now referred to FIG. 1, the method for manufacturing the paper louver according to an embodiment of the present invention described above comprises the following steps:
  • (101) cutting a roll of paper (such as recycle paper) into a plurality of paper sheets 11 (as shown in FIG. 2A);
  • (102) softening the plurality of paper sheets 11 with water so that the plurality of paper sheets 11 can be shaped up after rubbing;
  • (103) utilizing a rubbing machine to rub the plurality of paper sheets 11 into a plurality of paper threads 12 (as shown in FIG. 2B);
  • (104) utilizing a weave machine to weave the plurality of paper threads 12 into a paper cloth 13 (as shown in FIG. 2C);
  • (105) sizing 14 and drying 15 the paper cloth 13 by heating (at about 160° C.˜180° C.) so that the paper cloth 13 is solidified (as shown in FIG. 2D);
  • (106) cutting the paper cloth 13 into a plurality of paper louvers 16 that have a predetermined shape of the louvers of shutter;
  • (107) drilling hole 161 at two ends of each of the plurality of paper louvers 16 (as shown in FIG. 2E) so that each of the plurality of paper louvers 16 is able to be integrated in shutter;
  • (108) shaping each of the plurality of paper louvers 16 by molding, wherein a curved cross-section of the plurality of each of paper louvers 16 is formed so that each of the plurality of paper louvers is able to resist side pressure (as shown in FIG. 2F);
  • (109) cooling the plurality of paper louvers 16 for hardening.
  • According to the method described above, the step (7) of drilling holes can be done after the step (9) of cooling the plurality of paper louvers.
  • According to the method described above, when sizing the paper cloth 13 in step (105), a process of coloring the paper cloth 13 is performed at the same time. After coloring the paper cloth 13, the colorful paper louver 16 is made.
  • According to the method described above, when the plurality of paper louvers 13 are cut in step (106), deckle edge of the paper louvers can be shaved off at the same time.
  • In the method of the present invention, the material to manufacture the paper louver 16 is not limited. It can be made by a nonwoven fabric (or recycle nonwoven fabric). The steps of the method are the same as the description above, but the step (102) to soften in water can be omitted. Please review in FIG. 1, the steps of the method are as the following:
