Abstract
The present invention provides a top frame of foldable tent including a set of foldable roof braces and a set of coordinated sub-braces constructing the main frame is typically employed with a hydraulic tappet fixed between the static pivot hub pivoting all the sub-braces and spreader pivoting all the roof braces with both ends, by means of the jack-up and hold-on features of the hydraulic tappet, said spreader is pushed down and kept in the ultimate position to bring the entire roof braces q and sub-braces to expend out. Said structure has fewer parts, simple, convenient for manufacturing and combination features.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to an attachment for camping and trailering, and more particularly to a lockable top frame for foldable tent.
- 2. Description of Prior Art
- In accordance with the conventional technology, a top frame for foldable tent, as shown in
FIG. 1 andFIG. 2 , including a set offoldable roof braces 1′ and a set of coordinatedsub-braces 5′ constructing the main frame, is typically comprised of a strut 2′, aspring 3′, aspreader 4′ and an end block 6′, wherein apivot hub 21′ fixed on the top end of said strut 2′ is pivoted radically and respectively eachsub-brace 5′, the another end of said eachsub-brace 5′ is pivoted on thefoldable roof brace 1; said strut 2′ is put on sequentially withspring 3′ and thespreader 4′ pivoting with all thefoldable roof braces 1′ from the bottom end, finally fixed with the end block 6′ via a bowel pin 62′ at the bottom end; approaching the bottom end of said strut 2′, an elastic clamp 7′ is located, coordinating to it, saidspreader 4′ is possessed of a catching notch 41 opened at the low portion for the elastic clamp 7′ locking into so as to locate thespreader 4′ on the strut 2′. - When tending to close the tent applying above-mentioned structure, just need to press down the elastic clamp 7′ located on the catching notch 41′ of the
spreader 4′ slightly to release the lock function between the elastic clamp 7′ and the catching notch 41′, so that thespreader 4′ slides up along with the trunk of the strut 2′ under the restoring force of thespring 3′, thepivoted roof braces 1′ loosing support are closed to the center strut 2′ to finish the close operation. - In the close state, the
spreader 4′ is pushed upward closing to thestatic pivot hub 21′ under the elastic force of thespring 3′ so as to locate on the high position without any extra force. - As tending to expending the tent, just overcoming the elastic force of
spring 3′, push down thespreader 4′ until the elastic clamp 7′ locking into the catching notch 41′, by means of thesub-braces 5′ pivoted on thestatic pivot hub 21′, thefoldable roof braces 1′ is drew up expending. But, the force exerted on thespreader 4′ by the user overcoming the long distance elastic force of thespring 3′ should be enough big, so as to bring inconvenient to the user, especially to the shorter, in order to reach thespreader 4′, they have to stand on tiptoe, even so thespreader 4′ is still not got so that the tent is not able to be opened, hence the open operation the tent is not convenient. - Additionally, said top frame structure has some shortcomings, like as more parts, complicated structure, difficult manufacture and combination.
- It is therefore a main object of the present invention to provide a top frame for foldable tent having fewer parts, simple structure, facilitating to manufacturing and combination, easy open operation saving labor features.
- For achieving the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a top frame for foldable tent, which including a set of foldable roof braces and a set of coordinated sub-braces constructing the main frame is typically employed with a hydraulic tappet fixed between the static pivot hub pivoting all the sub-braces and spreader pivoting all the roof braces with both ends, by means of the jack-up and hold-on features of the hydraulic tappet, said spreader is pushed down and kept in the ultimate position to bring the entire roof braces q and sub-braces to expend out.
- Said spreader has a quad low portion with crossing grooves facilitating to exerting pushing force.
- As utilizing above-mentioned project, due to substituting a hydraulic tappet for the conventional strut, spring and end block and locating device set upon between the static pivot hub and the spreader, the structure has fewer parts, simple, convenient for manufacturing and combination features.
- As in open state, under jack-up and hold-on of said hydraulic tappet, said spreader is pushed down on ultimate low position so that the entire roof braces and sub-braces are kept in open state such as in expending out state; as tending to close the tent, just push up the spreader along the hydraulic tappet to bring the entire roof braces and sub-braces to close to the center downward, by means of tying up of a rope, the tent is closed down; as tending to open the tent, remove away the tying rope, under the pushing function of the hydraulic tappet, the spreader is pushed down to bring the entire roof braces and sub-braces to expend out until get the ultimate point and hold on, so all the open operation is very convenient without any extra force exerting.

FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the prior art. -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing the combination state of the prior art. -
FIG. 3 is an exploded view of the present invention. -
FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the combination state of the present invention. -
FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing the closed state of the present invention. - A top frame of foldable tent provided by the present invention is as same as the conventional to suit to foldable tent including a set of
foldable roof braces 1 and a set of coordinatedsub-braces 5 constructing the main frame. - Referring to
FIG. 3 , the present invention is typically comprised of a hydraulic tappet 2 andspreader 3. Wherein said hydraulic tappet 2 is a conventional goods, so the detail is not described here, it typically includes asleeve 21 and aninner rod 22. One end of the hydraulic tappet 2 (the end ofsleeve 21 in drawing) is fixed on thestatic pivot hub 4 pivoting with theentire sub-braces 5, the another end of the hydraulic tappet 2 (therod 22 end in drawing) is fixed on thespreader 3, by means of the jack-up and hold-on features of the hydraulic tappet, saidspreader 3 is pushed down and kept in the ultimate position to bring the entire roof braces q andsub-braces 5 to expend out. - As tending to close the tent, just push up the spreader to bring the pivot center of the
entire roof braces 1 to move up, such as bringing theentire sub-braces 5 androof braces 1 to concentrate to the center, then cooperate to a rope (not shown in drawings), the tent is tied up, as shown inFIG. 5 . - As tending to open the tent, remove away the tying rope, under the pushing function of the hydraulic tappet 2, the
spreader 3 is pushed down to bring theentire roof braces 1 andsub-braces 5 to expend out until get the ultimate point and hold on, as shown inFIG. 4 , so all the open operation is very convenient without any extra force exerting. - Said
awning 3 is fixed on pivoting hub 23 of said awning boom frame 2 with the center, and each corner is fixed on the free end of eachcornice boom 4. - In a word, as utilizing above-mentioned project, due to substituting a hydraulic tappet 2 for the conventional strut, spring and end block and locating device set upon between the static pivot hub and the spreader, the structure has fewer parts, simple, convenient for manufacturing and combination features.
