Abstract
This invention's name is the INSTANT DROPPING CLEANER. It means that this invention can suck any droppings and urines instantly. That is, it can suck any dirty and wet material or liquid quickly. The present invention is provided which includes a suction tube (1), a collect or (2), a stopper (3), a fan (4),an exit & sponge case (5), a vacuum motor (8),a momentary timer (9), and a longitudinally coiled electric code (12) The invention looks like a conventional vacuum cleaner because this really uses some of its principles. But the present invention has some differences from the conventional vacuum cleaner: the operation time, aimed materials and how to empty the collector (something like a conventional dust bag). The motivation of this invention is following. When we must clean excretions or urines at home, we have been reluctant and embarrassed to do the work. Furthermore, it is not pleasant and sanitary because of hand cleaning. The goal of this invention is to reduce the time and the pains when we take care of seriously sick patients, infants and domestic pets.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention closely relates to a vacuum cleaner. This invention and the conventional vacuum cleaner are similar in that they all suck the aimed material by fan.
- 2. Description of the Related Invention
- Typically the vacuum cleaner includes a vacuum motor, a pervious bag for collecting material such as dust and small particulate material. The vacuum motor induces an air flow through the bag and the entrained material is collected in the bag. With known vacuum cleaners it is found that when the induced material are dry particles, it is very fast and efficient. But when they are liquid or wet material, it is another story. The moisture and liquid included in the material might cause electric short circuits and malfunctions when they flow out through the outlet. Furthermore when it is urine or excretion, the situation would be more disastrous and the continuous operation makes much noise. so at home every excretion and urine must have been cleaned with hands. But it is very unsanitary and inconvenient. Everybody is reluctant to do the work. But this invention can solve the problems completely. It can suck all wet material instantly.
- In addition, the typical electric code is scattered in every direction. It doesn't look neat. It also takes time and pains to fold the code neatly. But the present invention provides solution against the above problems.
- In accordance with the aspect of the present invention there are provided (
FIG. 1 ) an instant dropping cleaner which includes a suction tube, a collector (2), a stopper (3), an exit & sponge case (5), a vacuum motor (8), a momentary timer (9), and a coiled electric code (12) - The motor is arranged to draw air inside the collector. When the air enters the collector can, the heavy material entrained in the air falls down to the bottom of the collector by the gravity, the wide width of the collector, the momentary timer and a stopper and only the air flows out. The suction tube and the collector are transparent to keep the accumulated material under the limit. We can prevent the material from overflowing by watching outside. When the work ends, the collector part is separated from the motor part by simple hand twisting. We can clean the collector with water in a bathroom.
- The collector functions the same as the dust bag in the known vacuum cleaner. It screens and collects liquids and anything dirty entrained in the air.
- The longitudinally coiled electric code also make the usages more convenient and neater.
- The present invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which
-
FIG. 1 is a schematic sectional view of the instant dropping cleaner in accordance with the present invention. -
FIG. 2 is the perspective view when the cleaner is separated for emptying -
FIG. 3 is the perspective view seen from above. - In the accompanying drawing there is shown an instant dropping cleaner for use. The cleaner includes a suction tube (1), a collector (2), a stopper (3), a fan (4), an exit & sponge case (5), a temperature sensor (7), a vacuum motor (8), a momentary timer (9). a switch (10), a handle (11), a coiled electric code (12) The collector part and the vacuum motor part (containing a timer, a vacuum motor, a switch and a sensor) can be separated each other by twisting with hands. This invention looks like a conventional vacuum cleaner. But there are some differences. This invention is not for the dirt or dry material but for the excretion or urine occurred by seriously sick patients, infants and pets. That is, for cleaning wet material. The principles are following.
- The collector is much wider than the suction tube. The air through the tube is very fast but once the air comes into the collector, the speed is reduced almost to zero by the gravity, the wide width of the collector and the stopper so only the heavy entrained material falls down on the bottom of the collector and the air flows out through the outlet.
- In addition to it, the vacuum motor runs only less than half a second by the control of the timer and stops automatically. It gives the time for the entrained material to remain calmly on the bottom. To finish the work, it is necessary to repeat the above action several times by the switch. But the total working time is merely less than one minute.
- In the case of the conventional vacuum cleaner, if we use it for the wet material, the moisture contained in the wet material might penetrated through the membrane and causes electric shortage or malfunctions. Furthermore the continuously running motor prompts the leakage of moisture through the membrane.
- There is another difference about this invention except the above.
- The conventional cleaner may not be emptied until the substantial amount of material is accumulated in the bag but this collector (2) needs to be emptied right after every use for sanitation and efficiency. That is, every use needs instant emptying. But the method is very simple. The collector part can be separated from the motor portion easily. We have only to take the collector part to the bathroom and clean it with water.
- The much wider collector than the suction tube, the gravity, the stopper and the momentarily running motor replace the conventional membrane. For more safety, there is a exit & sponge case outside the motor. It catches some possible moistures or tiny water drops. (as shown in Figs)
- To prevent the dirty material from overflowing, the collector and the suction tube are made of transparent plastic. The amount of the accumulated material can be watched from outside. The suction tube is usually made of hard plastic.
- But this tube is made of soft plastic. When the tube is blocked by something hard, it can be solved by pressing it lightly.
- When the vacuum cleaner is not in use, it takes much pains to fold the electric code neatly. Some conventional cleaners have automatic winders. But it needs some space and it is bulky. But this electric code (12) is coiled longitudinally (about 10 cm long). When not in use, the code is always coiled neatly of itself. In other words, the code is folded again automatically.
- Some modification and variations of this invention can be deemed to be the scope of the present invention.
Claims (8)
1. This invention looks like the conventional vacuum cleaner but The usage of this invention is quite different from the conventional vacuum cleaner. The aimed materials are not dry but wet materials. That is, the excretions and urine from infants, seriously sick patients and pets can be cleaned instantly with the invention.
2. This invention apparatus is comprising a vacuum motor, a momentary timer, a collector, a suction tube, a stopper and so on. the vacuum motor is arranged to draw inwardly, in turn, through the tube, the collector, the stopper, and the exit & sponge case, so that the collector can retain the materials entrained in the air.
3. The momentary timer controls the vacuum motor operation time, so unlike the conventional it doesn't run continuously but only less than half a second. To make it work again, we need to push the button again. But we need to push the button only several times to finish all the work.
4. The stopper is shaped like a can with many holes at the sides as Figs. and is located at the middle of the collector. It functions to reduce the speed of the dirty materials flowing into the collector and reverse the direction of them.
5. The suction tube and the collector are made up of transparent plastic so that the materials inside it can be seen from outside. The tube is also made up of a little soft material in case of being blocked.
6. The collector part and the vacuum motor part can be separated by being twisted with hands. The collector part should be emptied with water after every use. That is, every use requires every emptying.
7. The exit & sponge case can be separated from the motor part in order to clean.
8. The electric code is coiled longitudinally (10 cm long), not roundly. It returns to the original shape automatically after every use.
