Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to the field of diaper bags and infant care bags, and more particularly to a miniature version of the diaper bag for holding accessories and diapers and the bags practicality in use in relation to size and function.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • The use of diaper bags is well recognized. In utility, as well as design, bags and containers used for baby care are known to consist of familiar workings. The modern diaper bag is a product of countless configurations and uses. Some have separate compartments for bottles and such while others provide changing pads, storage, mommy bags, backpacks and a mass of other options geared to provide every solution possible.
  • Today, baby care requires organization, style, function and portability. The changing face of the modern caretaker means we take our babies everywhere. Previous attempts to provide a suitable diaper bag such as disclosed in U.S. Pat. Nos. 5,439,154; 6,298,993; 6,179,025; 5,996,803; 5,826,714; and 4,979,833. However, these bags made no recognition of the need for a smaller sized diaper bag.
  • Therefore, a need is present in today's fast paced world to provide easy, organized options for infant care and infant organization bags. Namely, a mini diaper bag you can take with you for times when a heavy and bulky bag is not necessary, but still providing the functions required for sanitary baby care.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The above concerns and difficulties are avoided by the present invention which provides an original way to transport infant care products and accessories in a much smaller bag. The flexibility of the outside, the presence of zippered compartments, elastic band support to hold products in place and the existence of many optional features, make this bag very functional yet much easier to handle.
  • Therefore, it is among the main objectives of the invention to provide a smaller diaper bag which provides all the functions of a bag that is much larger.
  • Another objective is to make a diaper bag more stylish and fun.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The features of the present invention which are believed to be original are set forth with distinctiveness in the appended claims. The invention, both as to its organization and manner of operation, together with further objects and advantages thereof, may best be understood with reference to the following description taken in connection with the accompanying drawings in which:
  • FIG. 1 is an outside view of the general likeness and shape of the invention.
  • FIG. 2 is an outside view highlighting the identification or picture holder.
  • FIG. 3 is an outside view of the general likeness and shape of the invention and the detachable cell phone or bottle holder.
  • FIG. 4 is a top view of the bag expanding
  • FIG. 5 details the inside compartments. Elastic bands for secure product holding and zippered compartments for diaper changing products.
  • FIG. 6 emphasizes the detachable pencil sized case for additional supplies
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Referring to FIG. 1, the novel miniature diaper bag is indicated from the top, exterior cover back of the bag. The opposite sides are provided with handles adapted to be hand-held be the user for carrying purposes. The top portion of the zipper mechanism use to close the case is also shown.
  • Referring to FIG. 2, the removable identification or photograph holder is shown in the top part of FIG. 2 The removable cell phone or bottle holder is highlighted in the bottom portion of FIG. 2. Snapping and Velcro mechanisms are mentioned adjacent to each drawing. Handles and general likeness and shape are further confirmed.
  • Referring now in detail to FIG. 3, the top view shows the zipper undone to expose the inside. To the right inside a zippered compartment with the zipper at the top facing the handle exists. No empty space exists between compartments except to allow for expansion in the bag with the addition of pencil case. FIG. 3 shows the bag expanding. Arrows demonstrate this motion.
  • Moving on to FIG. 4, the bottom view shows the dual zippers and slimness of the bag. Handles are shown and general likeness and shape are revealed. Zippers can be used interchangeable together or apart to open and close the bag.
  • Referring to FIG. 5, reveals the inside compartments with opposite positioned zippers. The compartment with the elastic bands has a zipper facing south of the handle, while the second compartment has a zipper at the top facing the handle. The second compartments design allows for opposite end attachment of the pencil case sized bag, while products on the opposite side are held with elastic bands. The bags flexible design allows for expansion if both zippered compartments, all elastic bands and pencil case are filled with products without the threat of tearing the bag itself or promoting product dripping. The two sides of the bag are held together with expandable material (A). Zippered compartments can be clear to reveal products or solid colored for privacy.
  • Referring to FIG. 6, demonstrates the compactness of the miniature diaper bag from an angled perspective. The removable pouch can be attached on either side of the bag. Depending on how many compartments the user wishes to utilize. FIG. 6 shows attachment on the elastic band side. Attachment on either side ensures it can be acknowledged and not lost even when the bag is in use.
  • In view of the foregoing, it can be seen that the dimensional relationships for the parts of the invention, to include variations in materials, shape, form, function and the manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed apparent to one skilled in the art, and all relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed in the current invention.
  • Therefore, the illustrations are considered to model the specifications of the invention, not to limit it. Modifications and changes may be made without departing from this invention in its broader aspects and, therefore, the aim in the appended claims is to cover all such changes and modifications as fall within the true spirit and scope of this invention.
