Abstract

A one piece nylon/hard plastic molded tubular device which may hold from one to three golf balls. The device may range from a single tubular component to three tubular components. Golf balls fit securely into each tube. The device which snaps on to the lower end of the golf club shaft has a center hub into which the shaft is placed. To a secure and sug fit at the end of the shaft. The extra weight on the club helps to stretch and strengthen muscles when the club is sung in a typical golf swing arc during practise and warm-up. The device, along with the golf balls which are placed inside the tubular components, can be easily removed from the shaft. the lightweight device can also act as a ball holder when stored in the golf bag.

  • DESCRIPTION
  • 1) This invention relates to a golf swing muscle warm-up device.
  • 2) Common devices used to warm up and strengthen the muscles are weighted clubs or attachments, neither of which are commonly used during a golf game. They may take up extra space and add more weight than they should be carrying in their golf bags. Golfers always looking for lighter golf bag to carry.
  • 3) I found that by using the new device, I can make use of the balls. Which has been placed as weight in the tubes, during my golf game. I am not carrying around unnecessary weight. Prior to play a game of golf, I can easily put the device on the shaft, and insert the golf ball into the tubes. I can practise my swing while the added weight helps to loosen and stretch my muscles then remove the device and store it back into my golf bag. The device is compressed of a hub (1). The opening of the hub slightly smaller than the lower part of the club shaft once the shaft snapped into the hub the device is attached to the club. There is a lip (2) extending inwards, located on and continue around the full inside bottom circumference of tubular parts. The lip secures the golf balls and prevent them from falling out.
  • There is an opening (3), found on each tubular part extend the full length of each tubular part to permit a slight expansion of the tub when a golf ball is pushed into the tube. The tubular part of the device (4) are slightly smaller than a golf ball, they hold the golf balls in place.
  • Method Use of Device
  • A—The device easily snapped onto the lower part of the golf club shaft.
  • B—Three golf balls inserted into the tubular part of device. The tubular parts expands closing the opening of the hub fit, and created the device to be ready to use.
  • The extra weight on the golf dub is to stretch and strengthen the muscles when the club is swinging in a typical golf swing during the practise and warm up. The device along with the golf balls which place inside tubular component can be easily removed from the shaft, by talking the golf balls out and unsnap the device off the club shaft. The light weight device can also be used as a golf ball holder when stored in the golf bag.
