Abstract
An improved cordless waxer comprises a built-in auto wax supply system, which has a wax tank with a sealed cap, a wax feeding pump, a spray nozzle, a joint conduit, a direct current motor, and a power switch, for carrying wax and controllably and automatically spraying wax onto working surfaces. The cordless waxer also comprises a protective exterior shell for housing the auto wax supply system and a direct current motor powered by rechargeable batteries. A removable foam pad is connected with the rotor of the direct current motor for clearing, waxing, or polishing working surfaces.

- The present invention relates to portable electric waxers, especially cordless waxers, which are used for waxing and polishing automobiles, floor, and other painted surfaces.
- Portable electric waxers are commonly categorized as either conventional or cordless. A conventional waxer is usually large in size, heavy, unsafe, and difficult to operate. It is also powered by using an electrical cord which causes further inconvenience and possible danger. A cordless waxer is generally smaller in size, lighter, safer, and easer to operate. Because it is powered by a cordless means, it has increased the safety and convenience of a portable electric waxer.
- In years, the handling and operating condition of a cordless waxer have been improved by the prior acts. However, the prior acts have a problem. They can not spray wax upon working surfaces automatically by themselves while the machine is operating. A user must put wax on working surfaces manually by using other means, such as a wax spray appliance. As a result, it is not only inconvenient but also inefficient.
- What is needed is a cordless waxer with a built-in auto wax supply system.
- The present invention is a cordless waxer which has a built-in auto wax supply system, including a wax container, a wax feeding pump, a spray nozzle, a joint conduit, a direct current motor, and a power switch.
- The objects and advantages of the present invention are:

- (a) to provide a cordless waxer which has an improvement in the structure to eliminate the problem of user's putting wax on working surfaces manually by using other means;
- (b) to provide a cordless waxer which has a wax container to carry wax and a removable sealed cap to add and to keep wax in the wax container;
- (c) to provide a cordless waxer which has a means to controllably and automatically pump and spray wax onto working surfaces;
- (d) to provide a cordless waxer which uses direct current motors powered by rechargeable batteries to advance its portability and safety; and
- (e) to provide a cordless waxer which has a removable foam pad connected with the rotor of a direct current motor for the convenience of its storage and replacement.
- In brief, a cordless waxer comprises a built-in auto wax supply system, including a wax container with a removable sealed cap, a wax feeding pump, a spray nozzle, a joint conduit, a direct current motor, and a power switch, to contain wax and to controllably and automatically pump and spray wax onto working surfaces. The cordless waxer also comprises direct current motors powered by rechargeable batteries and a removable foam pad to magnify its conveniency, portability, and safety.

FIGS. 1 and 2 thereof, the cordless waxer according to the present invention generally comprises a built-in auto wax supply system consisting of awax container 16 with a removable sealedcap 18, aspray nozzle 12, ajoint conduit 14, awax feeding pump 28, a directcurrent motor 30, and a switch (not shown); a protectiveexterior shell 24; aremovable foam pad 10. - The upper part of the
protective exterior shell 24 is provided for housing the built-in auto wax supply system and a directcurrent motor 26. The lower part of theprotective exterior shell 24 is designed to mountrechargeable batteries 20 and to form ahandle 22. - The
removable foam pad 10 is connected with the rotor of the directcurrent motor 26 which is powered by therechargeable batteries 20. A switch is formed as a trigger on the edge of thehandle 22 to control the power to the directcurrent motor 26. When switch is on, under the traction of the directcurrent motor 26, the rotatingremovable foam pad 10 would clear, wax, or polish working surfaces electrically. - The built-in auto wax supply system can be turned on or turned off by switching its power switch (not shown), which is located on the top of the
wax container 16. When the switch is turned on, under the traction of the directcurrent motor 30, thewax feeding pump 28 pumps wax from thewax container 16, through thejoint conduit 14, then thespray nozzle 12, onto working surfaces. The removable sealedcap 18 is designed not only for the purpose of adding wax into thewax container 16 but also for the purpose of preventing wax's leaking from thewax container 16. - In practice, after the
batteries 20 is charged, a user would remove the sealedcap 18, add wax into thecontainer 16, then seal thecontainer 16 with thecap 18. The user would then install theremovable foam pad 10 by connecting it with the rotor of the directcurrent motor 26. When in use, the user would simply place theremovable foam pad 10 upon a working surface, turn on both switches, and then move the cordless waxer around the working surface. The wax in thecontainer 16 would be pumped and sprayed onto the working surface and evenly applied to every hole and corner of the working surface. Then the user may turn off the auto wax supply system to continually polish the waxed working surface. - These and other details of my invention, having been described in the accompanying drawings, are furnished only by way of illustration and not in limitation of the invention. It is understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions, and changes may be made thereto without departing in any way from the spirit of the invention as claimed.
Claims (3)
1. A cordless waxer comprising: a built-in auto wax supply system for carrying wax and controllably and automatically spraying wax onto working surfaces; a protective exterior shell for housing the auto wax supply system and a direct current motor powered by rechargeable batteries; a removable foam pad connected with the direct current motor for clearing, waxing, or polishing working surfaces.
2. A built-in auto wax supply system comprises a wax container assembled above a direct current motor for keeping wax's flowability; and a means including an additional direct current motor for electrically and independently pumping wax out of the wax container and spraying wax.
