Abstract
System of seismic strengthening (reinforcement) of structure consists of vertical trusses (3), transverses (4), absorbers (5) and foundation collars (2) that are distributed around perimeter of the object (1) and which give sinewy and strength to the object itself even in case of great seismic strokes.
Description
- The engineering field on which invention applies:
- This invention belongs in the area of civil engineering technique and as such has following designation mark:
- International patent classification (MKP), designation mark is E04 G13/04.
- Technical problem is conditioned by the nature of built constructions of buildings that are massive and rigid, and in the moment of seismic stroke, they accept great seismic forces that cause huge damages. New construction system resolves sinewy and control of deformations and capacitate them to accept the greatest strokes.
- There are numerous civil engineering techniques and construction solutions with which so far where resolved or attempted to resolve this problem. Before all that is encasement of built constructions with the armoured concrete beams (serklaz), building of wall cloths injection and so for, but all these have shown great vulnerability at stroke time.
- This is a completely new construction with new solutions for acceptance and dissipation of seismic energy and control of deformations and dynamic characteristics of construction.
- The essence of the invention is in that, that a breakable and massive built construction, new construction that is implemented in existing one, makes it sinewy and at the same time controls deformation increasing rigidity and seismic resistance of the construction.
- This invention shall be described in details referring on the blueprint in which:
-
FIG. 1 shows disposition of the construction in its base and cross section, and -
FIG. 2 which shows the construction of the absorbers of seismic energy—dumper. - Invention new construction system—System of seismic strengthening of constructions consists of vertical trusses (3), transverses (4), absorbers (5) and foundation collars (2) that are distributed around perimeter of the object (1) and which give sinewy and strengthens to the object it self even in case of greatest seismic strokes. System throughout rigid mezzanine plates transmits horizontal seismic forces on to vertical starches, which consists of trusses (3) and bowsprits with dumpers (4), and the same transmits it throughout base collars (2) into the ground. Detailed description of absorbers uniquely is defined by the ends up to the
diagonals 7 and 6, body fordissipation 10,delimiter 9 andwrist 8. With this element the exact force can be assessed at the moment of emerging of great deformations, and by calibrating interstice between wrist-enhancement 8 and stand-off insulator (distancer) 9 displacement can be regulated, by which absorber contrive its function.
Claims (2)
1. Construction for seismic strengthening (reinforcement ) of structure 1 can be made (built) of dried (burnt) brick, solid or honeycomb or throughout of by R. C. rigid mezzanine plates or by flexible structure by stiffening with starches or by bracing with lightweight concrete plate to binding wood beams which foundation is reinforced by R. C. collars 2, from outside of the structure, indicated by that, vertical excitation (3,4,5) are uniformly placed round the contour of the construction and consists of vertical trusses (3), transverses of steel pipes (4) and durnpers(5) which are placed at the bottom of bowsprit at the place of conjunction of diagonal truss and horizontal beam joint by screws.
2. Construction for seismic strengthening (reinforcement) of structure 1, according to the request 1, indicated by that, that absorber of seismic energy (5) which consists of parts of diagonal of steel pipes (6) and (7) joint by welding for node and transverse within the vertical starches, is indicated by that, that between is placed element for energy dissipation and elastic-plastic work (10), which is made of steel pipes which have less cross-section area than cross-section areas of elements(6) and (7) or can be reduced with bull's eyes (by reducing cross-sectional area) and whose deformation is controlled by distancer (9) and enhancement (8) depending of mutual longitudinal distance of these two elements.
