Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention is related to a carrying case for an electronic product, which is easily carried and contains essential wiring equipment.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- Currently, in the structure of the conventional carrying case for an electronic product, a closed electronic product is stowed in a carrying case, such as a soft bag or safety belt, within an ordinary backpack. In such manner, when the electronic product is to be used, the carrying case is extracted from the backpack and then placed on a table. This arrangement is feasible when the carrying case for an electronic product is used in an office. However, if a person works outside the office, in a car or in a crowded public place, using this carrying case for an electronic product is very inconvenient. The electronic product once removed from the carrying case is easily damaged. In addition, no appropriate place is provided to put the backpack aside.
- The object of the present invention is to provide a carrying case to overcome the technical defects in the art. In accordance with the carrying case of the present invention, various interfaces, game consoles, disc drives, discs, data lines and power cords, which are required for use of the electronic product, are accommodated within the carrying case main body. Since the USB HUB interface can be used with various data interfaces, the electronic product can be normally operated without being removed from the carrying case.
- For achieving the object described above, the present invention provides a carrying case. The carrying case comprises a carrying case main body and a carrying device coupled to the carrying case main body. The carrying case main body comprises a vacant portion for accommodating an electronic product, and the carrying case main body is provided with an interface port at any suitable location thereon.
- The improved carrying case provided by the present invention, when compared with other previous conventional technologies, has the following advantages:
- 1. The electronic product and the essential peripheral devices thereof are integrally disposed within the carrying case such that these component are not detached from the carrying case during use for optimum utility.
- 2. The arrangement of the components are reasonable and enhance working efficiency.
- The above objects and advantages of the present invention will become more readily apparent to those ordinarily skilled in the art after reviewing the following detailed description and accompanying drawings, in which:
-
FIG. 1 is a three-dimensional drawing showing a carrying case of the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a schematic view showing the carrying case with a single vacant portion according to the present invention, with the front lid open; -
FIG. 3 is a schematic view showing the carrying case with two vacant portions according to the present invention, with the front lid open; and -
FIG. 4 is a schematic view showing the carrying case of the present invention, with the rear lid open. - The present invention will be described more specifically with reference to the following embodiments. It is to be noted that the following descriptions of preferred embodiments of this invention are presented herein for the purpose of illustration and description only; it is not intended to be exhaustive or to be limited to the precise form disclosed.
- Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, a carrying case for accommodating a game console according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown. The carrying case comprises a carrying case
main body 1 and ashoulder strap 2. The carrying casemain body 1 is defined by vertically enclosing afront surface 11, arear surface 12, aleft surface 13, aright surface 14, abottom surface 15 and atop surface 16 so as to form avacant portion 17 for accommodating a game console within the carrying casemain body 1. Theshoulder strap 2 is suspensibly coupled to the left and right sides of the carrying casemain body 1. In addition, ahandle 9 is coupled to the carrying casemain body 1. Theshoulder strap 2 and thehandle 9 constitute a carrying device for easy carriage. - At least one
binding belt 3 is disposed at the inner side of therear surface 12 of the carrying casemain body 1. Thebinding belt 3 is composed of twobuckle belts 31 parallel to each other and having a width sufficient to buckle the game console thereon. With thebinding belt 3, the electronic product such as a game console can be firmly positioned in the carrying casemain body 1. Thefront surface 11 is joined to theleft surface 13 and theright surface 14 byzippers 4 such that thefront surface 11 of the carrying casemain body 1 is selectively opened or covered. - The
top surface 16 of the carrying casemain body 1 extends from thefront surface 11 and is bent in one piece to form aroll lid 161, which is vertical to thefront surface 11. Twotraction straps 5 are attached on the carrying casemain body 1 from the joint portions between thefront surface 11 and thetop surface 16 to corresponding locations at the edges of theleft surface 13 and theright surface 14, thereby providing efficient traction when thefront surface 11 is opened. - The
bottom surface 15 of the carrying casemain body 1 is provided with apower interface port 6 and adata interface port 7 for accommodating a power socket and a spare stacked lead wire, a game console interconnection interface, a USB interface or a USB HUB interface. The locations, amounts and shapes of theinterface ports desirable interface ports 19 may be disposed on theleft surface 13, theright surface 14 or other surface in order to accommodate various interfaces or protruding other assembling elements. - A
roll lid 151 extends from the bottom edge of therear surface 12 of the carrying casemain body 1 and is then bent vertically in one piece. Theroll lid 151 can stay close to thebottom surface 15, and the edge thereof can be hasped with the lower end of thefront surface 11. Theroll lid 151 can be decorated. Theroll lid 151 and the lower end of thefront surface 11 are buckled together by usingcorresponding buckling elements - Optionally, the
vacant portion 17 of the carrying casemain body 1 for accommodating the game console can be separated into a firstvacant portion 171 and a secondvacant portion 172 for accommodating different articles by a partition plate 8 (as shown inFIG. 3 ). Thebinding belt 3 for fixing the game console is disposed at the outer side of thepartition plate 8. The outer side of thefront surface 11 of the carrying casemain body 1 is provided with an additionalvacant portion 20 for containing articles such as batteries. Furthermore, aninterface port 21 is disposed at one side of thevacant portion 20. - The
front surface 11 of the carrying casemain body 1 is further provided with apocket assembly 18. Thepocket assembly 18 comprises the stackedpocket structure 181 and the stackedpocket structure 183. The stackedpocket structure 181 includes several layers of pockets separately arranged at the upper and inner side of thefront surface 11 to contain optical discs. The stackedpocket structure 183 includes several layers of pockets separately arranged at the lower and inner side of thefront surface 11 to contain articles. The upper stackedpocket structure 181 is separated from the lower stackedpocket structure 183 by anisolation belt 182. - When the carrying case of the present invention is used, the
zippers 4 at the left and right sides are pulled open. Then, electricity is introduced via the stacked lead wire plugged in the power socket of thepower interface port 6 at the lower end of the carrying casemain body 1. The connecting rod of the game console is connected to anotherinterface port 7, and the user can start to play. When the game playing is stopped, the connecting rod of the game console is placed in the carrying case and then thezippers 4 at the left and right sides are gathered up. - The mouth-shaped
interface ports main body 1 of the present invention are capable of accommodating various interfaces, the connecting rod of the game console, the disc drive, the discs, the data lines and power cords, which are required for use of the electronic product, within the carrying casemain body 1. Since the USB HUB interface can be used with various data interfaces, the electronic product can be normally operated without being removed from the carrying case. - While the invention has been described in terms of what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention needs not be limited to the disclosed embodiment. On the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and similar arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the appended claims which are to be accorded with the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar structures.
