Abstract

A fastener with tie belt adjustment function primarily structured to comprise a socket joint and a clasp, and is characterized in that a moveable pressure plate is disposedly configured on an upper portion of the clasp, and a L-shaped flexible structural member is positionally configured below a front end of the moveable pressure plate. According to the aforementioned, because the L-shaped flexible structural member and the clasp of the fastener with tie belt adjustment function are fabricated so as to form an integral body, and thus additional configuration of a spring is unnecessary, and is capable of preventing detachment of the spring and impairment thereof, thereby achieving effectiveness of saving on costs.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • (a) Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a fastener with tie belt adjustment function, and more particularly to a fastener capable of preventing detachment of a spring and impairment thereof, and thereby achieves effectiveness of saving on costs.
  • (b) Description of the Prior Art
  • Wearing of swimming flippers effectuates increasing surface area of thrashing strokes, which thereby realizes a large increase in water displacement propulsion efficiency, and a substantial saving in physical strength required. Upon swimming into a current flow or waves, a pair of ineffective swimming flippers is similar to having no feet on land.
  • The swimming flippers are categorized as pertaining to that of a shoe type or a heelless type. A shoe portion of each of the shoe type swimming flippers enfolds the foot similar to that of a shoe. The shoe portion of the heelless type swimming flippers is relatively wider, and necessitates first putting on diving boots, and thereafter the swimming flippers. When diving, if there is no boat to proceed towards a diving point, then a walk to a water entrance point near to the bank is certainly necessary, and section of road which must be traveled along is more than often bumpy, rugged and difficult to walk upon, thus wearing of the diving boots to protect the feet is necessary. The shoe portion of such swimming flippers is heelless, and thus named heelless type swimming flippers. A fastener with tie belt adjustment function can be utilized to adjust a fixing tie belt, and thus is also named adjustable swimming flippers.
  • Referring to FIG. 5, which shows a conventional fastener with tie belt adjustment function primarily embodying a socket joint a and a clasp b. Openings a1 are defined in each of two sides of the socket joint a, and clasp pieces b1 are configured on a front end of the clasp b so as to correspond to the openings a1. A moveable pressure plate c is disposedly configured on a top portion of the clasp b, and a pin joint structure c1 is disposedly configured in a central section of the moveable pressure plate c and between two sides of the clasp b. A spring mount b3 assuming a shape of a cylindrical shaped protrusion is disposedly configured on the clasp b so as to correspond to a position below a front end of the moveable pressure plate c, and a spring d is insertedly configured on an outer edge of the spring mount b3, and which upwardly extends to a bottom surface of the moveable pressure plate c. Furthermore, a roll post b4 is disposedly configured in an inner side of a rear side of the clasp b. A thrust rib c2 is configured on the bottom surface of the moveable pressure plate c so as to be positioned to correspond to a front upper position of the roll post b4.
  • According to the aforementioned configuration, during usage, the front end of the clasp b is first inserted into a rear end of the socket joint a, thereby enabling the clasp pieces b1 of the clasp b to be tightly clasped within the openings a1. Thereafter, a tie belt e of the swimming flippers is wrapped round the roll post b4, and the spring d will upwardly pushes on the front end of the moveable pressure plate c, and a rear end portion of the moveable pressure plate c produces a correspondingly downward pressure effectuated about the pin joint structure c1 as a fulcrum. The thrust rib c2 of the moveable pressure plate c thus comes in mutual contact with the tie belt e of the roll post b4, thereby enabling teeth e1 configured on a surface of tie belt e to be subjected to a countercheck from the thrust rib c2. After fixing length by pulling tight on the tie belt e, if the tie belt e needs to be slackened then the front end of the moveable pressure plate c is pressed down, whereupon the spring d will be subjected to compression, which will result in rising up of the rear end of the moveable pressure plate c, thereby enabling the thrust rib c2 to separate from the tie belt e, and the teeth e configured on the surface of the tie belt e will thus no longer be subjected to the countercheck from the thrust rib c2, and the tie belt e can be drawn back, thus realizing slackening of the tie belt e.
  • However, because the spring d within the conventional fastener with tie belt adjustment function is made from metal and immersed in sea water for long periods of time, thus the spring d easily rusts, and thereby subject to corrosion and impairment thereof. After impairment of the spring d, the thrust rib c2 of the moveable pressure plate c is unable to continue to press tightly on the tie belt e, which thereby results in slackening of the tie belt e. If such slackening occurs during a diving session, the swimming flippers will come away from the feet, and, without ancillary assistance of the swimming flippers, a diver will become stranded in the water. Hence, such loosing of the swimming flippers is extremely dangerous for the diver during a diving session.
  • Furthermore, because of requirement of additional configuration installation of the spring d during manufacture of the conventional fastener with tie belt adjustment function, thus production process of the conventional fastener is extended, and results in increase in manpower and material costs, and a relatively higher selling price as a consequence, which thus reduces market competitiveness.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In light of aforementioned shortcomings of a conventional fastener with tie belt adjustment function, the inventor of the present invention, having accumulated years of experience in related arts, attentively and circumspectly carried out extensive study and exploration to ultimately design a completely new structure for a fastener with tie belt adjustment function.
  • A primary objective of the present invention is to provide a fastener capable of preventing detachment of a spring and impairment, and thereby achieving effectiveness of saving on costs.
  • In order to achieve the aforementioned objective, the fastener with tie belt adjustment function of the present invention is primarily structured to comprise a socket joint and a clasp, and is characterized in that a moveable pressure plate is disposedly configured on an upper portion of the clasp, and a L-shaped flexible structural member is positionally configured below a front end of the moveable pressure plate.
  • According to the aforementioned, because the L-shaped flexible structural member and the clasp of the fastener with tie belt adjustment function of the present invention are fabricated so as to form an integral body, and thus additional configuration of a spring is unnecessary, and is capable of preventing detachment of a spring and impairment thereof, thereby achieving effectiveness of saving on costs.
  • To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 shows an exploded elevational view according to the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 shows an assembled elevational view according to the present invention.
  • FIG. 3 shows a cross-sectional view according to the present invention.
  • FIG. 4 shows a cross-sectional schematic view depicting pressing down on a moveable pressure plate 3 according to the present invention.
  • FIG. 5 shows a cross-sectional view of a conventional fastener with tie belt adjustment function.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Referring to FIGS. 1, 2, and 3, which show a fastener with tie belt adjustment function of the present invention primarily structured to comprise a socket joint 1, a clasp 2 and a moveable pressure plate 3, and is characterized in that:
  • A L-shaped flexible structural member 20 is disposedly configured in a central portion of the clasp 2. The L-shaped flexible structural member 20 and the clasp 2 are fabricated so as to form an integral body. A perforation 21 is defined in each of left and right side walls of the clasp 2, and, moreover, a roll post 22 is further disposedly configured interior of a rear of the clasp 2.
  • A rotating shaft 30 is disposedly configured on each of two sides of the moveable pressure plate 3. The rotating shafts 30 are separately insertedly configured within the perforations 21, thereby enabling the moveable pressure plate 3 to be positioned between the left and right side walls of the clasp 2. Moreover, the moveable pressure plate 3 is positioned above the L-shaped flexible structural member 20 thereof. A locating piece 31 is disposedly configured on a bottom surface of a front end of the moveable pressure plate 3, and a groove 310 is defined in a bottom portion of the locating piece 31, whereby width of the groove 310 corresponds to width of the L-shaped flexible structural member 20. A thrust rib 32 is further configured on the bottom surface at a rear end of the moveable pressure plate 3.
  • According to the aforementioned configuration, the fastener with tie belt adjustment function of the present invention is so structured such that a tie belt 4 of swimming flippers is wrapped round the roll post 22, and reversally pulled backward thereon. The tie belt 4 thereby pushes on the thrust rib 32, which thus effectuates raising of the rear end of the moveable pressure plate 3, and a corresponding pressing down on the front end of same is actualized. Upon the front end of the moveable pressure plate 3 being pressed down, the locating piece 31 thus presses down on the L-shaped flexible structural member 20, and the locating piece 31 is prevented from separating from the L-shaped flexible structural member 20 by joining together of the groove 310 with the L-shaped flexible structural member 20 thereof. Two symmetrical driving forces are thereby effectuated from raising of the rear end of the moveable pressure plate 3 and pressing down of the front end, thereby enabling the moveable pressure plate 3 to assume a horizontal state, and simultaneously allowing teeth 41 configured on a surface of the tie belt 4 to be subjected to a countercheck from the thrust rib 32 of, which thus fixes length of the tie belt 4 after tightening.
  • Referring to FIG. 4, if a user wishes to slacken or adjust the tie belt 4, the user need only press down on the front end of the moveable pressure plate 3, and the locating piece 31 of the moveable pressure plate 31 thereby subjects the L-shaped flexible structural member 20 to pressure, which thus forces the L-shaped flexible structural member 20 to descend, and results in a corresponding raising of the rear end of the moveable pressure plate 3 about the rotating shaft 30 as a fulcrum. Upon raising of the rear end of the moveable pressure plate 3, the thrust rib 32 separates from the tie belt 4, and because position of the thrust rib 32 thereby becomes higher than that of the teeth 41 of the tie belt 41, thus the teeth 41 configured on the surface of the tie belt 4 will no longer be subjected to the countercheck from the thrust rib 32, and thereby enables the tie belt to 4 to be drawn backward, which thus facilitates slackening or adjusting the tie belt 4.
  • According to the aforementioned, because the fastener with tie belt adjustment function of the present invention utilizes the L-shaped flexible structural member 20 in replacement of a conventional spring, and the L-shaped structural member 20 and the clasp 2 are fabricated so as to form an integral body, thus additional configuration of the spring is unnecessary, and, moreover, because the clasp 2 is fabricated from plastic, hence, corrosion of the spring from being immersed in sea water is effectively avoided, which would otherwise result in rusting and impairment thereof, and, moreover, eliminates occurrence of detachment of the spring, thus realizing complete guarantee of safety for a diver.
  • Furthermore, because the L-shaped flexible structural member 20 and the clasp 2 of the fastener with tie belt adjustment function of the present invention are fabricated so as to form an integral body, and thus additional configuration of the spring is unnecessary, savings on cost of manufacture and material costs of the spring is thereby realized, which thus allows for a lower product selling price, and achieves effectiveness of enhancing market competitiveness.
  • In conclusion, the fastener with tie belt adjustment function of the present invention assuredly avoids detachment and impairment of the spring, which thereby achieves effectiveness of saving on costs, and, moreover, is provided with practicability and advancement. Accordingly, a new patent application is proposed herein.
  • It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
