Description
- (a) Technical Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a smokeless grilling oven of a barbecue, and in particular, a grilling oven employing infra-red to heat a grate and its surrounding space and the food placed on the barbecuing net.
- (b) Description of the Prior Art
- Barbecuing is a method of cooking food which normally has a smoked smell which is rather tempting. Conventionally, the grilling oven of the barbecuing stove employs charcoal as the burning material, and a grate mounted onto the opening of the oven. In the course of barbecuing of food, the dripping of barbecuing sauces or the liquid fat from meat will drop onto the burning charcoal which will reduce the charcoal's temperature. The smoke formed during barbecuing will pollute the environment and affect the respiratory system of people exposed to such an environment.
- However, charcoal produces the greatest heat and best grilling efficiency. To avoid barbecue sauce form dripping onto the burning charcoal, the charcoal is normally placed at one side of the oven to be away from the center of the barbecuing rack, but the heat generated by the burning charcoal will be gathered to move upward. This will not effectively heat up the food. Additionally, when charcoal is employed in barbecuing, the formation of smoke or ash cannot be avoided and pollution to the environment remains a problem.
- Even though some people feel that barbecued meat with a smoked smell has a better taste and the surface of the barbecued meat is crispy, this is normally true only if the heat is appropriately controlled, wherein the barbecued meat will have a good smell. When using a conventional barbecue stove to barbecue meat, if the smoke pollutes the meat it is not healthy to consume it. Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a smokeless grilling oven.
- Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a smokeless grilling oven comprising a grate, a frame body, a plurality of infra-red heaters which equals the number of sides of the frame body, and a slanting securing rack for mounting the heaters, wherein the grate is placed onto the frame body and the bottom edge of the frame body suspends the slanting securing rack and the infra-red heaters are mounted onto the slanting securing rack so that the emitting end of the heater is slopingly facing the bottom of the grate.
- Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a smokeless grilling oven, wherein infra-red radiation is used to roast food instead of burning charcoal. In this instance, there is no incomplete combustion or no burning ash flying around to contaminate the environment. Thus, the entire roasting process can be easily achieved.
- The foregoing object and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.
- Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a smokeless grilling oven andFIG. 2 is a perspective exploded view of the grilling oven in accordance with the present invention. Thesmokeless grilling oven 10 comprises agrate 20, aframe body 30, a plurality of infra-red radiation heaters heaters frame body 30, and slanting securingracks heaters frame body 30 is formed fromconduits frame body 34, and at least a pair of theconduits holding plate grate 20 so that thegrate 20 can be placed at theframe body 30. The bottom of the side of theframe body 30 is soldered or fastened with slanting securingracks red heaters securing racks heat emitting ends heaters holes emitting ends heat emitting ends grate 20. Thus, the infra-red radiation is used to grille thegrate 20 and the surrounding of thegrate 20 to heat food on the grate. The oil of the food and the barbecuing sauce applied to the food stuff on the grate will pass through it but will not drip onto the heat-emitting ends -
FIG. 3 is a front view of the oven andFIG. 4 is the top view of the smokeless grilling oven in accordance with the present invention. Thegrilling oven 10 is mounted onto astove 60. Due to the fact that no smoke is generated, it can be used in the home. - As shown in
FIG. 5 , theslanting securing frame frame body 30 is vertically extended to formsuspension rods emitting ends heater grate 20. - As described above, the present invention provides a smokeless grilling oven, wherein infra-red radiation is employed to grille the grate and the surrounding of the grate and to heat the food on the grate. The oil from the food stuff and the barbecuing sauce will not drip onto the heat-emitting end of the heaters.
- It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.
- While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
