- The present invention relates to vibration-proof devices for an air compressor, and particularly to a vibration and displacement-proof air compressor, wherein the bottom plate of the air compressor has at least one elastic leg pad made of rubber or a metal spring for preventing the air compressor from displacement.
- (b) Description of the Prior Art
- When actuating an air compressor, the air compressor will vibrate greatly due to the operation of internal components so that the whole machine will vibrate. Thereby, the use of the air compressor is not convenient. Especially, when the air compressor is placed upon the rear cover of a car engine or other higher place. As the air compressor actuates, it is easy to fall down and thus is destroyed.
- Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a vibration and displacement-proof air compressor, wherein the bottom plate of the air compressor is installed with at least one elastic leg pad for absorbing vibration of the elastic leg pad as the air compressor is actuated so as to achieve the object of avoiding the displacement of the air compressor.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a vibration and displacement-proof air compressor, wherein the the elastic leg pad is made of rubber or metal spring so as to lower the cost.
- A further object of the present invention is to provide a vibration and displacement-proof air compressor, wherein the elastic leg pad is assembled to the bottom plate of the air compressor at a predetermined position.
- A further object of the present invention is to provide a vibration and displacement-proof air compressor, wherein the bottom plate of the air compressor has at least one auxiliary support leg so that the elastic leg pad has a preferred balance effect.
- To achieve the object, the present invention provides a vibration and displacement-proof air compressor has an air compressor. A bottom plate of the air compressor is installed with at least one elastic leg pad. An upper portion of the elastic leg pad is firmly secured to the bottom plate of the air compressor so that when actuating the air compressor, the elastic leg pad absorbs the vibration of the air compressor so that no displacement occurs.
- FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of the present invention.
- FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of another embodiment of the present invention.
- FIG. 3 to FIG. 5 show various embodiment in that the elastic leg pad of the present invention is installed to the bottom plate of the air compressor.
- FIG. 6 is a schematic view showing that the bottom plate of the air compressor of the present invention is installed with at least one auxiliary support leg.
- FIG. 7 is an assembled cross sectional view showing that the hollow elastic leg pad is embedded into the bottom plate of the air compressor.
- FIG. 8 is another assembled cross sectional view showing that the hollow elastic leg pad is embedded into the bottom plate of the air compressor.
- FIG. 9 shows a cross sectional view of another embodiment, were the elastic leg pad is assembled to the bottom plate of the air compressor.
- FIG. 10 is an assembled cross sectional view showing the elastic leg pad is assembled to the bottom plate of the air compressor in the present invention.
- FIG. 11 is an assembled cross sectional view showing the a metal spring is used as a elastic leg pad of the present invention.
- FIG. 12 is an assembled cross sectional view showing that a metal spring of another form is used as an elastic leg pad.
- Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the vibration and displacement-proof air compressor of the present invention is illustrated. The vibration and displacement-proof air compressor includes an
air compressor 1 or 1 a and at least oneelastic leg pad - The
air compressor 1 is identical to the prior art air compressor. An electromotive air inflation device is installed in theair compressor 1. An external of theair compressor 1 is installed with apressure indicator air compressor 1 is not confined in the present invention, it only needs that theair compressor 1 is suitable to be installed in a car. Theelastic leg pad 2 or 2 s is made of rubber material. The shape of theelastic leg pad 2 is not confined, such as rectangular shapes, oblong shapes, round shapes, elliptical shapes or other regular or irregular shapes). Theelastic leg pad 2 may have a solid structure or a hollow structure. However, theupper portion bottom plate 13 of theair compressor 1. The way for fixing is not confined in the present invention by for example locking, embedding or gluing. Theelastic leg pad bottom plate 13 of theair compressor 1 at a predetermined position (such the embodiments illustrated in FIGS. 3 to 5). If necessary, the predetermined position at the bottom plate of theair compressor 1 is added with prior art auxiliary support leg 14 (see FIG. 6). Theauxiliary support leg 14 may be made of elastic material. Theelastic leg pad - Above said at least one
elastic leg pad bottom plate 13 of theair compressor 1. When actuating theair compressor 1, theelastic leg pad air compressor 1 to fix theair compressor 1 in position. Thereby, theair compressor 1 will not displace. Theauxiliary support leg 14 serves to enhance the balance as theair compressor 1 stands. Thereby, theair compressor 1 will not tilt. - With reference to FIGS. 7 and 8, a hollow
elastic leg pad bottom plate 13 of theauxiliary support leg 14 are assembled. Theupper portion elastic leg pad groove air compressor 1 is formed withcorresponding embedding holes 131 so that theelastic leg pad bottom plate 13 of theair compressor 1. Moreover, alower portion elastic leg pad lower portion elastic leg pad - Referring to FIG. 9, an assembled form of the
elastic leg pad 2 a and thebottom plate 13 of theair compressor 1 is shown. Theupper portion 21 a of theelastic leg pad 2 is installed with anengaging piece 212 a. Thebottom plate 13 of theair compressor 1 is formed withrespective embedding holes 132. Thereby, theelastic leg pad 2 a can be embedded into and firmly secured to thebottom plate 13 of theair compressor 1. - With reference to FIG. 10, an way for engaging the
elastic leg pad 2 a and thebottom plate 13 of theair compressor 1 is illustrated. In that, ascrew element 14 is used to lock theelastic leg pad 2 a to thebottom plate 13 of theair compressor 1. - Likewise, in the present invention, the
elastic leg pad 2 of thebottom plate 13 of an air compressor may be replaced by ametal spring 3 or 3 a (see FIGS. 11 and 12). Themetal spring 3 or 3 a may have the tapered for,m shown in FIG. 11 or a straight spring with each circle having the same diameter, or the other form with each circle having a diameter which is not confined. However, one end of themetal spring 3 or 3 a is attached to acorresponding embedding hole 132 of thebottom plate 13 of theair compressor 1. Thereby, it not only has a preferred vibration absorption effect and the assembled work can be done easily with a lower cost. - The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
