Abstract
A trash apron comprises a bag portion and two sashes or tie portions. The bag is pleated so that its volume can be expanded from its packaged size. The sashes are secured to each other to hold the apron around the persons waist. The bag pleats are expanded to increase the volume of the opening and the bag portion. Trash can be collected in the bag portion.
Description
- The present invention relates to cleaning accessories and more Particularly to trash apron with expanding pleats that is constructed from disposable, pliable trash bag material and that includes a deeply pleated trash storage area structure having pleated sides that is positioned adjacent to a pair of waist sashes that allow a user to secure the apron in place around his or her waist while filling a voluminous waist cavity formed by the expanded pleated sides.
- It is often difficult for individuals to drag a trash bag around with one hand While attempting to pick up trash with the other. It would be desirable, therefore, to have a trash apron device constructed from durable trash bag material that included a large trash receiving cavity and which further included sash straps securable about the waist of the user for securing the trash apron to the user in a manner such that both hands are free.
- It is thus an object of the invention to provide a trash apron constructed from disposable, pliable trash bag material that includes a deeply pleated trash storage area structure having pleated sides that is positioned adjacent to a pair of waist sashes that allow a user to secure the apron in place around his or her waist while filling a voluminous waist cavity formed by the expanded pleated sides.
- Accordingly, trash apron constructed from disposable, pliable trash bag material and that includes a deeply pleated trash storage area structure having pleated sides that is positioned adjacent to a pair of waist sashes that allow a user to secure the apron in place around his or her waist while filling a voluminous waist cavity formed by the expanded pleated sides.
- For further understanding of the nature and objects of the present invention, reference should be made to the following detailed description, taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which like elements are given the same or analogous reference numbers and wherein:
- FIG. 1 is a front plan view of an exemplary embodiment of the trash apron with expanding pleats.
- FIG. 2 shows the pleated structure in both the closed and the open views.
- FIG. 3 shows a representative user having the trash apron secured around her waist using the sashes.
- FIGS.1-3 show various aspects of an exemplary embodiment of the trash apron with expanding pleats of the present invention generally designated 10. Trash apron with expanding
pleats 10 includes constructed from disposable, pliable trash bag material and that includes a deeply pleated trash storage area structure, generally designated 12, having pleated 14, 16 that is positioned adjacent to a pair ofwaist sashes apron 10 in place around his or her waist while filling avoluminous waist cavity 24 formed by the expanded pleatedsides - It can be seen from the preceding description that trash apron constructed from disposable, pliable trash bag material has been provided.
- It is noted that the embodiment of the trash apron with expanding pleats described herein in detail for exemplary purposes is of course subject to many different embodiments may be made within the scope of the inventive concept(s) herein taught, and because many modifications may be made in the embodiment herein detailed in accordance with the descriptive requirements of law, it is to be understood that the details herein are to be interpreted as illustrative and not in a limiting sense.
