Abstract

The stretchable cap structure with non-distortable ornaments on the rear panels of the crown. The cap is comprised of a peak, a crown and a two-segment sweatband, the crown is composed of a plurality of stretchable panels on which external surface of the rear panels are decorated with ornaments. The two-segment sweatband portion including a stretchable sweatband portion and a non-stretchable sweatband portion sewn together interconnectedly is secured to the lower peripheral edge of the crown; the non-stretchable sweatband portion is placed at the area which is corresponding to the crown panels having the ornaments thereon to make the ornaments keep their original shapes without distortion while the entire cap in use being well stretched.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention [0001]
  • The present invention is related to a stretchable cap structure with non-distortable ornaments on the rear panels of the crown thereof; and especially to a stretchable cap structure having a sweatband portion comprised of a stretchable sweatband portion and a non-stretchable sweatband portion sewn together interconnectedly secured to the lower peripheral edge of the crown, the non-stretchable sweatband portion is placed at the area which is corresponding to the crown panels having ornaments thereon to make the ornaments keep their original shapes without distortion, and also allows adjusting the size of the cap to suit a range of head sizes. [0002]
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art [0003]
  • Since caps of good quality and being convenient to wear were widely used, modes of wearing caps have been being regarded highly by wearers, and caps of various fashions and types have been produced accordingly. [0004]
  • However, most conventional caps are either of fixed size or of adjustable kind. A cap of fixed size cannot suit various sizes of heads, and thereby cap manufacturers have to produce a lot of different sizes to satisfy wearer's demand, this may increase the cost of production. Generally, an adjustable cap provides at the rear opening of the crown with an adjustable closure to increase the applicability of the cap; however, such design can only allow adjustment at the rear opening of the crown, the cap thereby is subjected to bunching up on the rear panels to impair its aesthetic appearance. By virtue that head sizes of people are widely various, such an adjustable cap only has a limited range of adjustment; besides, the adjustable closure may impair its aesthetic appearance when it is overly long or short. A conventional cap with a elastic headband such as is shown in FIG. 1 or with a elastic headband as well as elastic panels forming the crown such as is shown in FIG. 2 can be applied to a range of head sizes as is stated above; however, if the crown of the cap has ornaments thereon, the ornaments are subjected to distortion by stretching when the cap is in use. The conventional caps are disadvantageous in that the ornaments are unable to keep their original shapes and are subjected to distortion during wearing, thereby, the entire aesthetic appearance of the caps are detracted. [0005]
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary object of the present invention is to provide a stretchable cap structure with non-distortable ornaments on the rear panels of the crown thereof, of which a sweatband comprised of a stretchable sweatband portion and a non-stretchable sweatband portion sewn together, the non-stretchable sweatband portion is placed at the area which is corresponding to the crown panels having ornaments thereon to make the ornaments keep their original shapes without distortion, the ornaments can thereby keep its aesthetic appearance. [0006]
  • To get the above stated object, the present invention has the crown thereof composed of a plurality of stretchable panels sewn together, said panels have ornaments on the external surfaces; of which a sweatband portion comprised of a stretchable sweatband portion and a non-stretchable sweatband portion sewn together secured to the lower peripheral edge of the crown, the non-stretchable sweatband portion is placed at the area which is corresponding to the crown panels having ornaments thereon to endue the entire cap with good stretchable adjustment, and to make the ornaments keep their original shapes without distortion, and also increase the practicability and esthetic appearance of the cap. [0007]
  • The present invention will be apparent in its particular structure and characteristics after reading the detailed description of the preferred embodiment thereof in reference to the accompanying drawings.[0008]
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the appearance of an embodiment of a conventional cap; [0009]
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing the appearance of an embodiment of another conventional cap; [0010]
  • FIG. 3 is a perspective view of an embodiment of the present invention; [0011]
  • FIG. 4 is another perspective view showing the inner side of the embodiment of the present invention; [0012]
  • FIG. 5 is an analytic perspective view showing the elements of the embodiment of the present invention; [0013]
  • FIG. 6 is a sectional view partially showing the combination of the present invention; [0014]
  • FIGS. 7[0015] a and 7 b are schematic perspective views showing the states of the embodiment of the present invention respectively in the normal condition and the stretched condition.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Referring firstly to FIGS. [0016] 3-6, the stretchable cap structure with non-distortable ornaments on the rear panels of the crown thereof in the present invention is comprised of a peak 1, a crown 2 and a sweatband.
  • The [0017] peak 1 is sewn together with the crown 2; the crown 2 is composed of a plurality of stretchable panels 21 sewn together (including two front panels, two middle panels and two rear panels).
  • The [0018] crown 2 is provided on the inner lower peripheral edge thereof with a sweatband 3 portion including a stretchable sweatband portion 31 and a non-stretchable sweatband portion 32 sewn together, the non-stretchable sweatband portion 32 is placed at the area which is corresponding to the crown panels 21 having the ornaments 23 thereon.
  • By providing the above stated elements, the stretchable cap structure with non-distortable ornaments on the rear panels of the crown of the present invention can be formed. Referring to FIGS. [0019] 4-7 b, the present invention is characterized by that, the sweatband 3 portion includes the stretchable sweatband portion 31 and the non-stretchable sweatband portion 32 sewn together interconnectedly secured to the lower peripheral edge of the crown, the non-stretchable sweatband portion 32 is placed at the area which is corresponding to the crown panels 21 (two panels or one of the two) having the ornaments 23 thereon, so that the ornaments 23 can keep their original shapes without distortion, the stretchable panels 21 and the stretchable sweatband portion 31 both with the stretchable adjustment function are used to adjust the size of the cap to suit various head sizes of different wearers. Therefore, the present invention can have the ornaments 23 kept their original shapes without distortion, and can have the effect of adjusting the size of the cap to increase the practicality of the cap and to increase the entire esthetic appearance of the cap.
  • The present invention thereby has the following advantage: [0020]
  • The sweatband portion of the present invention comprises an stretchable sweatband portion and a non-stretchable sweatband portion sewn together interconncetedly secured to the lower peripheral edge of the crown, the non-stretchable sweatband portion is placed at the area which is corresponding to the crown panels having ornaments thereon to make the ornaments keep their original shapes without distortion, and to increase the esthetic appearance of the cap. [0021]
  • In conclusion, the present invention not only can get rid of the defect of conventional caps, but also has the crown thereof provided on the inner bottom area with a sweatband portion including a stretchable sweatband portion and a non-stretchable sweatband portion sewn together interconnectely secured to the low peripheral edge of the crown, the non-stretchable sweatband portion is placed at the area which is corresponding to the crown panels having the ornaments thereon to make the ornaments keep their original shapes without distortion, thereby the practicality and the esthetic appearance of the entire cap can be increased. The cap thereby suits a range of head sizes of wearers and undoubtedly has its practical industrial value. [0022]
