Description

    FIELD OF INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a game played with a scoring device in the general shape of a interchangeable pole that is used as a target for contact which results in value being awarded to player or teams scoring by contact with the scoring device. Optionally the game is played over a playing field with optional geometrically shaped playing zones. [0001]
  • BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
  • The game in this present invention is unique and there is not anything closely related to this invention. The playing with two players holding a pole one at each end and a third person or team attempting to contact the device while the defensive players holding the device attempt to evade the contact of the offensive movements such as touching, striking with hand or feet or even contact with any part of the body to be totally unique. Add to this a playing area that can change the degree of difficulty. With the interchangeable parts of both the field and device the rules are altered in this predetermined way. If contact with the device is with the touch of hands the game becomes a kind of sprinting or running game when players return quickly to the starting line for continual scoring and if you use your feet it will resemble martial arts. In no way will you find that this game enter the realms of other inventions. It is wholly unique in all its predetermined optional combinations. Another way of additional and optional scoring is by going past the scoring device by going under or over the pole. Also an extra sliding part adds more scoring, possibilities for all players at any given moment during play. For the offense when contact is made with the sliding portion of the scoring device or when the defense by method of sliding the part from side to side. Also additional optional penalty area's are used to increase offensive difficulty. [0002]
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The methods of play are predetermined based on the interchangeable scoring device and interchangeable playing fields. All elements in the present game are interchangeable and designed to create variety. Starting lines and zones are used to start the game and to give time for re-setting of the device and players accordingly to make for interesting play Penalty zones are used to increase difficulty in scoring. The defensive zones when used are for increased difficulty for defensive players. The words scoring device are used to better describe the device which is held by the two defensive players because of its multifunctional scoring use. The scoring device is used as a kind of calculator when the optional sliding mechanism is slid from side to side towards the handle guards or buffers by the defensive players or team or as a goal when a player has gone over or under, and when the scoring device contacted it acts as a target with points for contacting a zone(s) in the contact portion of the device between the two handles. The three functions of this device are unique as a game. The game or sport is original with two players holding a scoring device one at each end with a player or team attempting to contact or pass the pole, while the players or team holding the pole evade while scoring points by sliding the additional scoring part back and forth within a predetermined amount of rounds and time.
