It is obvious that the box may be varied in size and dimensions according to the use to which it is to be put.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is:
1. A collapsible box formed of an integral blank scored for folding and comprising a bottom, front and rear walls, and a cover disposed in alignment, the cover being joined to the upper edge of the rear wall and having cover flap extensions on its front and end edges, the end extensions having sealing flaps on their front ends lapped upon and fixedly secured to the inner side of the front cover flange, the end cover flanges being scored diagonally from the bases of the front cover flanges to the outer edges facilitating collapsing of the cover flanges inwardly upon the cover, the bottom having substantially square end walls extending from the ends thereof, the end walls having rear wall flaps extending from their rear edges and front wall flaps extending from their front edges, the said rear wall flaps having disengageable interlocking tongues the bases of which are in line with the joint between the cover and the rear wall when the blank is in the flat, the front wall flaps being fixedly secured to the inner side of said front wall, the end walls being diagonally scored from their bottom front corners to their top rear corners to permit collapsing of the front and end walls upon the bottom with the rear wall flaps in overlapping relation to the rear wall, there being scores at the bases of the locking tongues of. the rear wall flaps permitting their disposition in overlapping relation to the cover and the collapsing of the cover on the rear wall and the rear wall flaps superimposed thereon.
2. A collapsible box formed of an integral blank scored for folding and comprising a bottom, front and rear walls, and a cover disposed in alignment, the cover being Joined to the upper edge of the rear wall and having cover flap extensions on its front and end edges, the end extensions having sealing flaps on their front ends lapped upon and fixedly secured to the inner side of the front cover flange, the end cover flanges being scored diagonally from the bases of the front cover flanges to the outer edges facilitating collapsing of the cover flanges inwardly upon the cover, the bottom having substantially square end walls extending from the ends thereof, the end walls having rear wall flaps extending from their rear edges and front wall flaps extending from their front edges, the said rear wall flaps having disengageable interlocking parts, the front wall flaps being fixedly secured to said front wall, the end walls being diagonally scored from their bottom front comers to their top rear corners to permit collapsing of the front and end walls upon the bottom with the rear wall flaps in overlapping relation to the rear wall.
3. A collapsible box formed of an integral blank scored for folding and comprising a bottom, front and rear walls, and a cover disposed in alignment, the cover being joined to the upper edge of the rear wall, the bottom having end walls extending from the ends thereof, the end walls having rear wall flaps extending from their rear edges and front wall flaps extending from their front edges, the said rear wall flaps having disengageable interlocking tongues the bases of which are in line with the joint between the cover and the rear wall when the blank is in the fiat, the front wall flaps being fixedly secured to the inner side of said front wall, the end walls being diagonally scored from their bottom front corners to their top rear corners to permit collapsing of the front and end walls upon the bottom with the rear wall flaps in overlapping relation to the rear wall, there being scores at the bases of the locking tongues of the rear wall flaps permitting their disposition in overlapping relation to the cover and the collapsing of the cover on the rear wall and the rear wall flaps superimposed thereon.
4. A collapsible box formed of an integral blank scored for folding and comprising a bottom, front and rear wallsiand a cover disposed in alignment, the cover being joined to the upper edge of the rear wall, the bottom having substantially square end walls extending from the ends thereof, the end walls having rear wall flaps extending from their rear edges and front wall flaps extending from their front edges, the said rear wall flaps having disengageable interlocking parts, the front wall flaps being fixedly secured to the inner side of said front wall, the end walls being diagonally scored from their bottom front corners to their top rear corners to permit collapsing of the front and end walls upon the bottom with the rear wall flaps in overlapping relation to the rear wall.
5. A collapsible box formed of a blank scored for folding and comprising bottom, front and rear walls, and a cover disposed in alignment, the bottom having square end walls extending from the ends thereof, the end walls having square rear wall flaps extending from their rear edges and front wall flaps extending from their front edges, the rear wall flaps being detachably engageable and the front wall flaps being lapped upon and secured to the front wall, the end walls being diagonally scored to permit collapsing of the front and end walls upon the bottom with the rear wall flaps in overlapping relation to the rear wall and cover.
6. A collapsible box formed of a blank scored for folding and comprising bottom, front and rear walls, and a cover disposed in alignment, the cover being provided with collapsible front and end flanges, the bottom having square end walls extending from the ends thereof, the end walls having square rear wall flaps extending from their rear edges and front wall flaps extending from their front edges, the rear wall flaps being detachably engageable and the front wall flaps being lapped upon and secured to the front wall, the end walls being diagonally scored to permit collapsing of the front and end walls upon the bottom with the rear wall flaps in overlapping relation to the rear wall and cover.
7. In a collapsible lunch box, an integral blank of paper board out and scored to provide a rectangular bottom panel the length of which is substantially twice its width, a rectangular front wall panel of the same size as said bottom panel and connected to the front edge thereof by a fold line, square end wall panels of half the size of said bottom panel and connected to the and edges thereof by fold lines, the end wall panels having diagonal fold lines and front flaps secured to said front wall panel so that the latter and the end wall panels are readily collapsible on the bottom panel, a rectangular rear wall panel of the same size as said bottom panel and connected to the rear edge thereof by a fold line,
