15 and 16 at the edge of the cufi 1'7. This permits other forms of adjustment for the respective parts, and by reason of the bendable feature of member 8 which is used in this form of the invention, a tight fitting glove structure may be provided or a loose fitting one as preferred.

In Fig. 5 the same structure is shown as in Fig. 1 except that there is provided an ornament 18 stitched in place, said ornament including an ornamental covering within which are' arranged bendable Wires which hold the ornament in position as shown in Fig. 5, or in any other position to which it may be moved. It is, of course, understood that various detailed ornamental members may be used, but in all instances there is a covering structure and within the covering structure are the supporting bendable wires as illustrated by the member 8 in Fig. 3.

10 and 11, a variation may be provided as shown in Fig. 9, wherein there is a zone 19 spaced from the end 20, said zone carrying three bendable wires 21, though a greater or less number could be used without departing from the spirit of the invention. Each of these bendable Wires is covered with a piece of fabric and rows of stitching are provided for holding the fabric just mentioned to the glove structure. This forms a slight corrugation which presents an ornamental appearance in addition to the useful effect. As illustrated in Fig. 10, the size is exaggerated in order to show the detailed structure.

In Figs. 11 and 12 a further form of the invention is shown wherein a glove 1 is provided at the wrist portion 22 with a zone 23 similar to zone 19 in Figs. 9 and 10. This zone 20 is preferably positioned exactly at the smallest part of the wrist, so that after the glove is placed in position on the hand the wrist portion may be bent over at 24 Whereby'the glove will snugly fit the wrist and hand but will loosely fit the remaining part of the arm, thus giving a slender appearance to the wrist and a pleasing appearance to the cuff or gauntlet portion.

In Figs. 13 to 15, inclusive, a glove 25 is disclosed, the same being similar to the glove shown in Fig. 11 except that it does not have the zone 23. Also the glove 25 is different in that it has an ornamental member 26 at a desired point, said ornamental member being in the form of a covering 27 and a wire frame 28, said wire frame being bendable into different shapes whereby the appearance of the ornament may be changed when desired. This ornament is held in place in any suitable manner, preferably by suitable stitching extending through the cover 27 and part of the glove 25.

I claim: 1

1. A glove of the character described, including a plurality of settable wires'connected to the glove near the end opposite the fingers, certain parts of the glove forming a plurality of encircling tunnels for independently covering said Wires.

2. A glove of the character described, including a cuff or gauntlet structure, said cuff or gauntlet structure having a hem, a resilient fibrous structure partly filling said hem, and a bendable settable structure arranged within the hem adjacent said fibrous filling and with said fibrous filling completely filling the hem so that it will present a bead, said bendable settable structure comprising a plurality of settable wires arranged in parallelism and a fibrous covering encircling both wires, said hem with its filling forming an encircling bead for the end of the glove, said encircling bead being adapted to be distorted whenever desired to present different configurations.

3. A glove of the character described, including a cuff provided with a folded over end producing a hem, lines of stitching in said hem producing a plurality of tunnels, and separate filling means for said tunnels, each filling means including a resilient filling core and a settable wire structure, said tunnels with their filling structures presenting parallel beads at the end of the glove.

4. Aglove of the character described including a cuff having a slit in the back thereof, means forming a hem extending around the open end of the glove and the edges of said slit, and a filling for said hem including a resilient filling member of fibrous material and a settable wire whereby the hem will present a rounded bendable bead capable of remaining in different positions.

A glove of the character described, including a. hand merging into fingers and a thumb at one part and into a cuif or gauntlet at another part, the glove at the Wrist portion being provided with folded portions and lines of stitching for holding the folded portions in position, said folded portions presenting a plurality of tunnels,

a settable member positioned within each of said tunnels, said settable members being adapted to be bent over to constrict the glove at the wrist portion after the glove has been placed upon the hand, whereby a slenderizing effect is produced.

8. A glove of the character described, including a glove structure formed with a plurality of tunnels at the wrist portion, and a settable structure positioned in each of said tunnels, said settable structures being adapted to be bent over to constrict the glove at the wrist portion so that the glove will present a tapering structure at each direction from the wrist portion.
