What is claimed is:

1. The combination with a reading glass having props, of an attachment comprising swingingly connected pieces hinged to said props, an adjustable thumb loop on one of said pieces for accommodating a thumb of a hand of a user, means on one piece and acting against the other piece to limit the swinging action therebetween in one direction, and means on one piece and active against one of the props to prevent creeping action.
