A sewing machine loop-taker having a raceway, a bobbin-case having a peripheral bearing rib journaled in said raceway, said bearing rib being formed with a plurality of closed bottomed oil-wells and with a plurality of relatively constricted lateral oil-ducts at different levels leading outwardly from said oil-wells above the respective bottoms of the latter to the outer bearing surface of said rib.
