Definitions

  • This invention has reference to a device for illuminating housed adjustable portions of wireless receiving or transmitting installations.
  • the lamp-itself is not visible but is arranged so that the light shines. on the parts to be illuminated.
  • the lamp is'usually secured in a holder which adjoins the portions to be illumil6 nated, and is fixed to the frame of'the. senor any,"
  • the lamp with the holder is, so to say,'entirely locked in by 20 the surrounding portions placed in position during the further mounting operation.- It'is often necessary to detach portions from the'set in order to permit of the lamp being withdrawnirom-the holder.
  • the holder may be inserted in the front plate and 90 frame of the set orany portionconnected there with and'readily accgssible from without-so, as permit of the holder being withdrawn without the use of any mechanical means, such as screw! drivers or the like.
