The combination with a clip having a pair of wire loops for frictionally engaging a shelf and a pair of wire'reaches connecting said loops, of a card holding frame having openings to receive the ends of a price card, the material between said openings providing a backing plate forthe price card, said backing plate having a pair of lugs shaped to detachably receive said reaches.

A price card holder comprising a clip having two-flanges arranged for frictional engagement with a supporting shelf, a plate connecting said two flanges, a pair of tongues associated with one of said flanges, a frame, said frame having a pair of price card holding openings and a backing plate, and ears formed integrally with said backing plate, said ears being offset slightly with respect to the backing plate and arranged to frictionally engage said tongues 'to permit the frame to be detachablyjconnected with the clip, said plate being held firmly against said backing plate. ,7

The combination of a wire clip bent to provide a pair of shelf engaging parts and a pair of'reaches connecting said parts, a card holding frame having openings to receive the ends 01' a price card, the material between said openings comprising a backing plate, and lugs carried by said backing plate, said shelf engaging parts being. arranged to be'fiexed to permit the reaches to pass between the lugs and the backing plate, the. tension of the wire forming said shelf engaging parts holding the clip and the card holdit ing frame in firm assembly.

The combination with a wire clip having a pair of loops for frictionally engaging a shelf and a pair of reaches connecting said loops, of a card holding frame having openings to receive the ends of a price card, the material between said openings providing a backing plate for the price card, said 'backingplate being provided with slits adjacent said openings, the material between said slits being offset with respect to the backing plate to provide lugs for engaging said reaches, to detachably connect the frame with the clip.
