The numeral 11 desilgnates what I will term locking plates. ach of the plates,

adjacent to its end and from one of its edges, is provided with a transverse notch 12. The notches 12 are designed to be received in the angle notches 10 of the sides 1 and to cause all of the walls provided by the notches 8 to exert a frictional engagement against the upper and lower faces of the plates 11 and likewise all of the walls provided by the notches 12 will exert a like engagement with the ears 9, inward of the notches 10. The lockin plates 11, it will be noted, will efiectively lold the corners of the crib or like article effectively connected,

and the said article cannot have its parts v the crib. It will be obvious that the weight separated until after the locking plates 11 are removed.

The locking plates are arranged at slight opposite inclinations and on the upper ed es 0 the said plates there rests a bottom 13 or of the bottom 13 will have a tendency to slightly cant the locking plates 11 which only serves to bring the same into tighter frictional engagement with the ears 9 against the inner faces of the ends 2. The sides and ends are ornamented, as disclosed by the drawings, and the ends are formed with rockers 14.

It is thought the foregoing description when read in connection with the drawings will fully set forth the construction and advantages of my improvement to those skilled in the art without further description with the understanding that I do not wish to be restricted to the precise details herein set forth and do not wish to be restricted to proportion, size, shape, etc., and therefore may make such changes therefrom als fairly fall within the scope of what I c aim.

Having described the invention, I claim:

An article of furniture comprising detachably associated parts including end portions, upper and lower projections formed on the opposite corners of the end portions, the inner edges of the upper projections being cut angularly and the inner edgesof the lower projections being cut to provide straight shoulders, side portions coo crating with the end portions and havin t eir upper and lower edges notched ad acent their t In testimony whereof I afiix my signaure.
