These safety devices are well known in the art and as I do not claim the safety devices referred to as a part of my present invention, theyare not shown and described. In a game, the combination of a casing having side, end and bottom walls, a floor above said bottom wall and inclined downwardly from front to rear of said casing, spacedpartitions extending lengthwise of and above said floor and defining a counter projecting runwayat one side of said floor and substantially'parallel scoring runways spaced from the front end wall of saidcasing, a side partition wall extending lengthwise of and above said floor and defining one side of the scoring runway most remote from said projecting runway, the rear ends of said scoring runways terminating in a plane extending across said floor near the mid portion lengthwise of said floor, spherical counters, a gate extending across the rear ends of said scoring runways and pivotally supported at its ends and movable to counter holding and counter releasing positions, a first spring connected with said gate and tending to hold said gate in its position holding said counters in'said scoring runways, devices for moving said gate to its counter 'releasing position, an end partition wall extending transversely across andabove the rear end of said floor and spaced from the rear end of said casing, said floor being inclined downwardly laterally adjacent said end partition wall towards the rear end of said projecting runway and I constituting a transverse runway directing counters released by said gate towards'the rear end of said'projecting runway, and counter projecting-"mechanism between said end partition wall and the rear-end of said casing and having a member for movement against a counter in the rear end ofsaid pro ection transversely of said casing between its rear end and said end partition wall and carrying said member, a second spring engaging said lever and tending to hold said member away from a counter to be projected, and impact devices for operating said lever, said side partition wall being spaced from the adjacent side of said casing and forming an operating runway inclined upwardly from front to rear of said casing, a portion of said lever extending into the rear end of said operating runway, said impact devices comprising an operating sphere in ,said operating runway, and a rod movable longitudinally in the front portion of said operating runway to operate said operating sphere.
